I'm actually fine with 2 Defence, but I'm really scared that 1 combat level when I'm nearly maxed will actually make me suffer in Bounty Hunter.. I've though about Zerkers but it'd definitely be a waste since I've already gotten 60 attack, 80 strength/range with 1 Defence.. What combat level is your brother? Spear trick? Don't do that, 1def = 1hp level you could gain w/o leveling up, so keep it at 2 until you're absolutely sure you want to be initiate. Since you've already got a high Woodcutting level you should go for Magic trees, they take hours just for a log. If you really wanted to go for Monkfishes then you should get your Fishing higher first by Barbarian Fly Fishing. You can also just do Slayer with your decent skills, much hasn't changed for those making money by skilling if I'm not wrong. Or the 26k trick.

Firstly, thank you both for the consolation compared to the nasty people at Zybez. 1 Defence level is equivalent to a HP level if I'm not wrong, or around there. Besides that, are cannons the only way for 1 Defs to gain Slayer levels? As I'll need 52 Slayer for Jellies in Soul Wars. :|

You can always sell pray/atk/str/rng pots for max to reduce losses. You can even go to a Bounty Hunter world and sell them for ridiculous prices! Just add some junk to the trade and you might even be able to cut even.

Well, either make him 99 mage with soul wars or dummy spells like what the others have said or just make him a skiller if you want it to be "epic". Would take a hell lot of dollars to cannon him to 99.
