  1. Jennica's Ring only affects the Revenants non-pvp world drops, like Dragon Daggers and Glory Amulets. I don't know if RoW really affects their pvp-gear drops though. I'd say go with Ring of Life, if someone claw rushes you when you aren't prepared (saved me multiple times).

For cannoning, it increases the chance that you will get PK'd so i wouldn't recommend it.

I don't think theres any way around just killing a ton of them droprate-wise. Personally i've gotten all my drops from the Revenant Ork (Ruby Chalice, 39 Morrigan Javs and 1 Zuriel Hood) so i'd say the higher level the Rev, the better.

  2. Hello.

I'm currently working on all the requirements for The Void Stares Back and i'm having doubts about the last one being 54 Thieving.

I'm sitting at 1.8k experience from 44 Thieving at the moment and i wonder whats some good ways to get to 54?

  3. There are no ways to motivate yourself on purpose, either take a break or just keep going against your own will.

I got 99 cooking myself on my old main and i no-lifed it pretty hard, though it went pretty fast as 99 cooking is one of the easiest 99s in the game (time and effortwise). Just cook while you listen to music and chat to people or watch Youtube videos. It'll be over before you know it.

    Good luck :)

  4. you couldent of picked a wrose time to diapear for to years lol.

there has been the most amount of change in, err, every posibly lolz.

first thigs first, the big things.

HP skill is gone. you now have "contitution". hippoints are "life points" and ALL damage and hp are 10x what thay where.

ao hiting a goblin for a 5 now does 50 (well, there hp changed to something like 37)

this means if you where to hit a, say... 10.7 you would of delt 10 damage, now you deal 107. so all damage, over the long run, is very slightly higher.

a new skill some out, called dungeeonereing (dunge, dung, dg). its max level is NOT 99, but rather 120.

its like a minigame (infact i bet you will come acros someone complaining ahbout that... still... -.-) but way more complex.

its nuthing like any other skill in rs.

oh and rewards (also unlike anything in rs) are epicly epicness of epic.

chaotic weapons (main member reward) have stats from anything to a godsword of stereoids to a whip on stereoids.

chaotic rapire (cr) is the curent fav, its the whip on stereoids.

chaotic longsword (cls) is dort of an inbetween.

chaotic maul (cm) is the godsword like one. its stats are in the 160's.

i could go on about dunge for a while, but i will just put the basicis and let you find the rest your self.

its all set in one place near, but not in, the wildy.

you do instanced (aka, other players cant see you) dungeons with everything from boss fights to level 125 prayer level doors (skill boost used obviusly)

you cant take any armour, weapon, or the like in to the dungeon. yes thats rite, its like stealing creation. make everything your self.

the rewards, besdies chaotic and gravite(f2p weaker version of chaotic) are mostly usefull, but never required, skill sided helpers.

one makes you use less bars when smithing. one makse you use les seeds. one acts an a staff of water in the shield slot alowing 3 elements or just air+water elements to be infinte at once.

i shal stop on dunge b4 i go on 2 long.

many skills have goten high end content, like slayer geting level 92 (i think) slayer level required monster. wood cuting geting new trees (much faster xp, worse money), and stuff like that.

quests have gone mad a bit, lets just say jagex is geting creative and are makeing things from void knight quests (3 of them now) to one about the wise old man's love life...

yes you did read that last part rite.

speaking of void knights, a void knight mini game (besdies pent control) has been relised, and imo, its MUCH faster points alowing reletively easy void knight armour. speaking of void knight armour, a new part has come out (a shield, "delecter"), and becouse you only need 4 parts to activate the efect, you can swap parts around! speaking of void knight armour again, the last void knight quest unlocks the ability to give void legs and top +4 prayer bonous each.

combat triangle is trying reallllyyyyyy hard to rebalance its self.

many minor graphics updates (look at your charicters face, it has EYES! *DUN DUN DUUNNNN*)

more treaure trail rewayds, and a level 4 "elite" clue. one of the more useful rewards are elemental mystic staffs with a 6 prayer bonous.

if you ever get a "strange rock" go to varrak musium and talk to the guys picking away at the rocks to find out more. or disable it if ya want.

humans, houses, sheep, cows, goats and maybe other types of snimal have realistic sound efects now.

castile wars is slightly difrent, the rewards are very difrent.

thats all i can be botherd thinging about for now, gl with all your adventureing! \:D/

I have a feeling you are trolling, noone has that bad grammar without doing it on purpose :/

Tip to the OP, go through www.runescape.wikia.com and look for stuff you arent familiar with.

It's impossible for us to tell you about all the new stuff that have come over 2 years.

    Good luck! :)

  5. I've just gotten the requirements for Shadow of the Storm and i wonder if i can kill the boss with my current stats.

    1 attack

    1 strength

    20 defence

    15 constitution

    13 summoning

I'll be using sharks as food and recoils to do damage, will these stats be enough or do i need more? and if i need more whats the minimum stats i will need?

  6. IMO you shouldn't get a Chaotic Rapier or CLS, they are both dumb.

Chaotic Rapier does a few points more damage than a whip but there is no big accuracy difference, especially in pvp where most plate armors have higher stab than slash defence.

Chaotic Longsword is slower than a whip in exchange for a bit more damage, not worth it IMO.

The weapon you should get is Chaotic Maul, it's the strongest weapon in the game and is really amazing in pvp(which should be the reason why you are getting chaotic weapons as theres no big reason to get them for monster hunting, there already are alot of good weapons that takes alot less effort)

  7. Sell the Saradomin Coif+Chaps and Zamorak D'hide, they are just dumb and unecessary when you got karils.

    Sell the Bolt Racks.

    Sell the Dark bow

    Sell your maple logs.

Sell 20k broad bolts, no way that you need so many(actually this applies to alot of stuff you got, you got way too many of items that i doubt you need)

Sell your Archer's Ring, it's not really worth having. I personally like keeping a Ring of Life when i train incase i get disconnected or if im just semi-afking.

Sell your hand cannons + hand cannon shots, you don't need them at level 88 range.

Sell your crystal key teeths and use your full Crystal Keys at the chest in Taverly then sell whatever you get.

Sell alot of glories, doubt you need so many.

Those pots looks like Super Restores, they are 10k+ each so sell atleast 150.

Make your gems and gold bars into rings then enchant them and/or sell them.

Sell your trading sticks if you can, doubt you need so many :P

Sell your Water Talismans, i think they are worth alot.

After that, if you dont have 50m just sell runes and potions until you got enough. If i was you i'd sell everything and only buy stuff when you need it instead of having it in your bank collecting dust. :)

  8. Do Minotaurs in the Stronghold of Security to 30 atk/str/def then do Zombies in Draynor Sewers until 40/40/40.

I think zombies are great exp if you bring food, there are both low and higher leveled zombies down there so start out with the lower leveled ones.

For food you should use Trout/Salmon or even Tuna if you afford it.

Also, if you pick up the stackable drops including bones you probably won't lose any money from training down there as it will cover the costs.

  9. 88 range seems fine in my opinion, he hits 220~ with rune arrows. Only problem might the accuracy but i guess he can try it, if he likes it then why not?

Range + dragon claws is very good cause it lowers the enemies hp faster than dragon scim making it easier to KO, but a dragon scimitar might be better for 1v1 deathmatches etc.

  10. it's close. There's a reason you see a lot of Pjers in void and dark bows.

If that is very close to the actual max then Dark Bow sucks, hand cannon hits like 567 at 99 range in void? :S

Remember that the dark bow shoots two arrows at once, so it's really possible to do much more damage with one spec.

The handcannon shoots two shots at once too, just that it's a bit delayed but since i rush with it that doesn't matter cause people won't be prepared anyways :)

  11. I tried to calculate the damage of a dark bow spec with dragon arrows but im pretty sure the calculator here on tip.it displays the wrong results.

It says i would max 477 something with 99 range and void (no overloads/extremes), is this really correct?

  12. My opinion would be to sell everything then do the following:

Buy Dragon Claws - Basically the best spec weapon when it comes to dealing damage and if you are into pvp it's a amazing investment.

Buy a Abyssal Whip - A no brainer, really.

Buy a Fury amulet - Best amulet, you can afford getting it.

Buy good armor - i have no clue what you should get, but i guess verac skirt and torag plate. Gives good defence and some prayer bonus, when you face monsters that you need to pray against you just wear full proselyte.

Buy a Berserker ring and dragon boots.

After that you should save the money until you can either get high herblore or 95 prayer, both are very useful in pvm and the latter being VERY helpful in pvp.

  13. Honestly if you just buy random varieties of maple/yew bows and alch them you don't loose that much, shouldn't cost more than a mill or two for the lvls you're looking for. But, just so we know, what kind of budget are you on?

I've got 12m left, but im probably only willing to spend 2-2.5m max cause i gotta buy more chinchompas and potions soon.

Then alch away, you shouldn't spend more than that. And if you do, you can make up the difference charging air orbs for profit and (Slower) exp.

I got a couple of questions about alching.

    1. What should i alch?

    2. Do SC hats work with alchemy? cause i was planning on getting a few.

    1. Like I said before, various amounts of yew/maple strung/unstrung long/shortbows; try seeing which ones minimize loss.

    2. No, SC hats only work with combat mage spells. They are really only useful in conjunction with Stun, which needs 80 mage.

I checked Yew/Maples and they are not profitable nor will they minimize losses much. I guess ill wait until i find a good item to alch.

    Thanks for the help everyone.
