  1. Im considering getting a pure later (f2p), i just don't now what pure to aim for:

5 Attack and 50 Strength pure (Steel scim dmg: 9 without pot)

20 Attack and 40 strength (Mithril scim dmg: 8 without pot)

Both seem to have their pros and cons tho.

-Steel scim- 5 Atk and 50 Strength. Combat Level: ~26

    Pros: Higher damage and cheaper.

Cons: Won't hit at all vs ppl with def and takes longer to train.

-Mith Scim- 20 Atk and 40 strength. Combat Level: ~27

Pros: Hits a bit more offen and faster to train.

Cons: Costs a bit more and got lower damage than the other option.

I really dont know what to go, Mith scim or Steel scim.

Should i get more def or atk at any of the builds to increase efficency in pvp or what? :S

  2. Farming and chaos druids are easy, not too boring ways of gaining cash at low levels.

Theres also tanning green dragon hides (about 200gp profit per hide), running between meat stores and wolf bone collecting.

    Bah, sounds boring.

Chaos druids might work tho. whats the profit per run/half a hour?

  3. i was thining about getting 75 attack, a reasonable amount of strength, like around 80 and then ill go for high defence.

Also i mean how should i get cash before i can do aviansies, green drags and such, also i dislike bowstringing.

  4. Since you're F2P, the best weapon you can use against Elvarg is a rune longsword. Elvarg has a stab weakness, use that to your advantage.

Theres someone whos helping, thanks ill try that.

I've done it before with a level 35 wearing adamant and it was pretty easy with lobs and pot, ill train my atk, str and def to 30+ today then ill go for D-slayer. Wish me goodluck ;)

  5. Ok, ill level my combat stats as high as possible tomorrow and then do all req quests. I g2g to bed now so i won't be training anymore today :?

Well, thanks for the tips. I will get runes for curse so i can get those last 7 magic levels for the Warrock Teleport spell.

  6. Sorry for posting again in such a short notice.

But im considering doing dragon slayer but im worrying about my stats being to low, heres my stats:

    33 HP

    25 Atk

    24 Str

    21 Def

    40 Range

    18 Prayer

    18 Magic

I can level atk, str and def to 30 pretty fast. Will it work with either 40 range or 30 in def, atk and str? thanks for reading atleast

  7. Im currently considering getting p2p soon, im gonna get it on a new char named Kino5journey.

Its stats are 39 Range, 20 defence, 25 atk and 24 strength.

Im planning to make the char a hybrid of rangetank and a meleetank, ive always wanted a skillcape and since im the worst player ever in terms of skills i will try for 99 defence eventually so i have a couple of questions.

1: since im combat level 35 atm, what atk, str and def lvl should i get before i try for 99 def? im gonna do waterfall, the first gnome quest and the lost city as soon as possible when i get p2p so i will get some combat exp fast.

2: where should i train my def?(levels 40+ and when im trying for 99 def)

3: any good places to make money while getting solid defence exp? im not rich so nothing like bandits please :?

4: also, i wonder how to get gold for whip and so on when i get membs?

I think thats all, ill edit if i have anymore questions. Cheers!

  8. Do you have any melee skills aswell or magic?

If your going just Ranged your only choice is a Rune Crossbow with nice bolts.

I don't know exactly but something like this may work:

    Rune C'Bow

Dragonfire bolts (haven't played for long so i can't remember their name)

    Black D'hide body

    Rune Plateskirt (Or better)

    Rune Fullhelm (Or better)

    Amulet of Glory

    Black D'hide vambs

Rune Boots or something like Snakehide boots

Idk what ring, maybe a recoil or ranger ring

Zammy book with all pages or a Rune kiteshield/Dragon SQ

For inventory i guess this would manage:

    4 Prayer potions

    2 Ranging Potions

    2 Super Defence Potions

    Black D'hide legs (vs casters)

Archer Helm or a good coif (vs casters)

    Rest should be sharks

If you have enough magic for Ice Blitz/Barrage swap to Black D'hide body, Mystic Robe Bottom and a Archer/Farseer helmet, If you can't use them equip a Mysic Hat.

  9. I was level ~89 or something when i did desert, it was not really hard but not easy. mostly took alot of time.

I meleed the Ice troll queen which was easy but i almost died after cause of running low on food as i was climbing the ice thingy afterwards.

I maged the fire dude, easiest fight of em all, just hit and run or bind and mage him.

The dude in those tunnels was fairily easy to melee but i had around 70 atk, 75-80 strength and 70 def, i super potted half way through the fight and after that it was easier than a bunch of lesser demons.

The Vampire was a bit easy too, i meleed him.

The quest is long and annoying, the pyramid part made me so frustrated i took a nearby screwdriver and thrusted it into the desk (Grrrr  ), really REALLY annoying but after 10-15 tries i managed and the reward was godly.

Get a little higher stats to be safe, then do the quest.

  10. If you have money - Range will be so easy you will have that cape on your back before you know it.

If your poor - I'd say Defence or Attack is the easiest since you can train with whip, whip=good damage and speed.

For strength you would need to use dscim and whip is far superior to scim.

  11. I'd say 99 is a acomplishment you should be proud of, i thought about it before when i was 70 strength and i leveled to 80 and went like: Bah, to hard.

Its a really hard achievement dude, also 99 strength arent the most common. The most common skillcapes is cooking and woodcutting. But that doesn't mean their like 1 week of hard work! its several months of slavery.
