Welcome to my blog! i'll be posting my achievements here daily [hide=about me]Hi, i'm xxquinnxx1 and this is my blog! i'm 17 years old, but i'm almost 18. I started playing runescape for the first time when i was 12, i quit because i became bored with the non-member world. 2 years ago i started to play the game again. I also became member, but when my membership was done for i stopped playing. Whenever i had the opportunity to become member i played runescape again. At the moment it doesn't look like i will be losing membership for a while. i actually forgot there was so much to achieve! So i started to set some goals which i'd like to get in the next couple of months. Most of them will be easy to achieve, other will require a lot more effort and work.[/hide] [hide=Goals]Well i have quite the amount of goals. Many which include hunting boss monsters. The red goals have been completed and the yellow ones where attempted but a failure Stat-related goals: 80 attack 80 strength 80 Defence 99 ranged 70 prayer 85 slayer 68 summoning 50 hunting 68 smithing 50 runecrafting 70 agility 50 farming 50 construction 99 fletch (got to have trimmed ranged cape...) Boss monster goals: Kalphite Queen King Black Dragon Corporal Beast (will have to wait a looooong time before attending this one) Zamorak GWD Saradomin GWD Armadyl GWD Bandos GWD Daggonoth kings Tormented Demon Jad Other goals getting 500 songs every skill over 70 getting quest cape getting in a good clan[/hide] [hide=achievements]Boss monsters full void! levels: 80 attack 70 prayer [/hide] Other levels: [hide=defence]def level 75 on 6 june 2009 [/hide] [hide=ranged]ranged level 77 on 8 june 2009 [/hide] [hide=hunter]Hunter 51 & 52 on 9 june 2009 [/hide] [hide=smithing]smithing 52 & 53 & 54 on june 9 2009 [/hide] [hide=construction]construction 49 & 50 on june 10 2009 [/hide] [hide=prayer]prayer 57-62 on june 10 2009 [/hide] I know I've got a lot of work ahead. i'm not sure whether it belongs here or in the tech & computer's section... but when i insert images onto these forums i can never see them i just see the word image on the place where the image would be... can anyone help me to solve this? thanks in advance

i got enough fire runes of slayer so no worries for me about alching important stuff... but you should get placeholders for the other runes they drop aswell.. you'll lose a lot in the long run. (especially since you're going for a large amount of xp. i don't see anything wrong with the setup... although i like bandos boots but since i see you using the eyrie that's not much of a problem. and why aren't you tanking aviansies? you can stay for longer periods and earn more xp and cash!

penguins are a good option, don't forget tears of guthix (6000 xp a week for free in your lowest skill really helps!) you should knive yaks until level 65 if you can afford it (goes quite fast) then you should kill firegiants with knives (or stay with yaks, it's your choice i just got bored of yaks) train defence at yaks to it's done often, goes fairly quick.

well i did magic's a level or 2 ago and i got a little over 40 magics in the time i had so... money wise for you would be magics... xp wise... yews for you i believe (you want to waste a minute or two getting at those teaks while you can get to yews faster? overall efficiency would be yews i think (more firemaking xp, i think you get more yew firemaking xp then maple firemaking xp from the logs you gather) i hope this helps! i don't have the most accurate info but in the minutes you gain the banking boost the rate at which you gather magic logs seems to go up with me (i always get quite a few more logs that way then in the normal way)

just get both, see which one you like more... but in my opinion you SHOULD get void melee... if you can affort training on things like yaks, AZ's, Zombie monks on ape a'toll... you'll get a lot of levels in no-time personally i dislike slaying some monsters over and over even if it's for xp.

can't you fill all the beacons before you light em? i hear that's how it's done. anyway around 100'ish scrolls (or more) should help you get em... also quite a few teleports are used

i maged elvarg all the times with wind bolt (took 150 chaos runes with me, and that was more then enough!) so don't say it's stupid! it's cheaper then risking rune items and plus you can wear antifire shield, safespot him, and he will only hit 5's which you will be able to heal.

if you smith cannon balls from steel bars you get 180 profit from each bar?

the equipment i use now works perfectly fine (it's the one above) i get hit sometimes, but the extra +10 that the helm gives to ranged attack gives faster kills. if i use unholy book i could replace the zammy d'hide chaps with torag legs giving more defense.

Seriously though, why do people think "Omg strength is SO awesome because PURES have high strength, and defence sucks because they have 1!"? Rune defenders for the win. well get a guy of 60 str, 60 def, 60 def fight a pure with 1 def... i know who i'll be voting for -.- pures is good for low level. at high level they suck bc of the lack of defence. ot go with dfs and whip, faster kills means more money... on the other hand you should take what you like more! (a whip is good but i get bored with the weapon quickly)

the cheapest method would be to use sc hammers, but it would take a long time

well i'm using this tanking setup for aviansies armadyl helm glory rune c-bow with broad bolts granite shield saradomin d'hide body zamorak d'hide legs accumulator barrow gloves snakeskin boots archers ring and i'd like to know what i should buy first. bandos boots unholy book and substituting the d'hide legs for torag legs fury and what other improvements can i make to this setup?

good guide, i thought it'd be more of a buy in bulk then sell in little guide... might certainly try this out

i tried getting fire cape when i reached 70 range and it was hard for me (had 54 prayer back then) and your budget is only 500k... considering what you will be using costs around 300k (equipment NOT included) and that you'll probably fail the first time you do this... i'd say get some higher ranged level and prayer levels... i don't know why you can't get any defence levels, but higher defence will help a LOT especially since you will be able to use karil's (you really want those def stats...)

you should definately tank yourself with high-defense armor(torag's always is a good idea), piety (if you did the quest) and the other ones should wear good armor to depending on their attack style. your friend 1 can tank to if he wants, but i think you would be a better choice because of the higher defence, hp and the ability to use piety which all really add up. anyway you could decide to let someone else tank since you are the only one able to bless graves. Since you will be risking quite a lot of money this could be the better option. anyway what you should wear: tank: high defence armor, dragonfire shield, fire cape, dragon boots, barrow gloves, whip, fury others: good armor, and ideally a godsword, fury (he won't be taking hits so he doesn't need as high defence as you) all bring a enhanced excalibur if you have otherwise use ddp specials. and i agree that having at least a decent combat familiar or a BoB/bunyip would be helpfull

are you sure you did most damage to both forms? otherwise it's a bug and you only get xp if you also did most damage to the last form.

No. You cannot say he will get one. Assuming it is a 1:6000 chance. His chance of getting one does not increase with each kill, its remains 1:6000 per drop. and you got this info from how many visage drops? you will most likely get one. and their other drops are quite good to so i'd say it's a good choice

Torag's Helm Torag's Legs Dhide Body (Blessed maybe) God Book God Vamb or Barrowd Gloves Arma Pendant Snakeskin Boots Accumulator would it be a wise choice to buy all pages for zamorak prayer book, and use a blessed body of saradomin? and what's best to use, a god cape or accumulator/legend's cape (legends is best cape i have)

i want to go to aviansies but i'm not sure which gear to bring. i have 4,3m to spend (5,7 if i have to sell whip) i'm also not sure whether to use bandos boots or my dragon boots.. thanks in advance!

the first option will be way better. since it's close to altar. if you want to pray the monkeys downstairs you'll lose a lot of time, because the bearded gorilla's will block you quite often.

so i should take food instead of prayer and b2p?

i've got these as slayer task at the moment but i'm not sure about the following things: where to kill them (taverly or brimhaven?) what equipment to take (pray them so i can finish the task in one run or food?) thanks in advance for your help
