Bloodrex
My question is exactly like the title says. I have a new account and i'd like to know some good ways to make money. I've never been good with making money on runescape so i really could use some help with it. I already checked some prices on grand exchange and i noticed that bones, normal logs and cowhides are very expensive. is there a better way to make money besides these? or should i stick with getting cowhides, bones and normal logs to increase my money pool? thanks in advance for your help. Quyneax
Farming is good too, if you can farm at least ranarr. Combat is almost always better than skilling, with a few exceptions (90+ hunter with scentless potions, 82/91 runecrafting with Lunar Magics, 62/85 farming with juju/greenfingers/scroll of life/secateurs - not exactly immediately available). Cows are probably a good starter for money. Don't forget that at the early levels, the easiest and fastest way to become more powerful is just training. Only when you have all the requirements for all basic equipment and prayers (70 attack, 60 strength/defence, 43 prayer etc.) you can really use money to increase power. ilovecuttingyews
You could take a look at my F2P Skill Profit spreadsheet. A lot of the best money makers are also low level things like mining clay. Granted, the testing was done at a high level and in the absence of bots, but it should give you a relative idea of what's good or not.
Bloodrex
well i'm only lvl 17 combat so far (15 attack, 20 str, 10 def) and i haven't really leveled anything up yet and i could keep killing cows for money... although it's pretty boring. atm i'm afk-cooking 1k trouts which will get me about 50k gp (i used 41k to buy the 1k trouts and they sell for about 117 gp each) not much. but it's a start got 56k left so i'll have 156K gp at the end of my cooking session

NastyJenny
Doing daily shopping runs is an awesome way to make money, especially for a new account : * Feathers from fishing shops, those sell for 30 coins each atm, easy 20k+ of profit per shop* Seaweed / Pineapples from Arhein in Catherby. Seaweed sells for 600+ , i'd keep tth pineapples to make supercompost* Broad Arrowheads form a slayer master* There are many more.
