  1. well i'm only lvl 17 combat so far (15 attack, 20 str, 10 def) and i haven't really leveled anything up yet and i could keep killing cows for money... although it's pretty boring. atm i'm afk-cooking 1k trouts which will get me about 50k gp (i used 41k to buy the 1k trouts and they sell for about 117 gp each) not much. but it's a start got 56k left so i'll have 156K gp at the end of my cooking session
  2. My question is exactly like the title says. I have a new account and i'd like to know some good ways to make money. I've never been good with making money on runescape so i really could use some help with it. I already checked some prices on grand exchange and i noticed that bones, normal logs and cowhides are very expensive. is there a better way to make money besides these? or should i stick with getting cowhides, bones and normal logs to increase my money pool? thanks in advance for your help.
  3. limited time again... i coulc get around 100k xp today so i went halfway to def 80 already! goal almost complete! :D
  4. sorry for not posting any entries for 2 days, but my exams are just a tiny bit to important. anyway yesterday i could play for like an hour and half and i got close to def 79 i hope to get it today and work on def 80... after i get def 80 i'm going to have to consider training it to 85 or first training my strength to 80 today's entry: only so limited time i only could get to 20k from 79 def.
  5. Just got one defence level today, i had to study for my exam. Tomorrow i'll have to study long again so i'll probably won't be online.
  6. i was only able to get defence 77 and hp 80. stopped the night by buying new resources for the next hours of armoured zombies.
  7. thanks i was able to get defence nearly to 77... anyway tomorrow is a big day i have a presentation which decides my whole future... i basically fail my year if i fail that presentation. but yeah no pressure. anyway i'll probably get to 78 tomorrow, but i hope to get 79 or 80
  8. i love your mining level  very nice skills for an f2p btw! and good luck with getting 70 prayer on f2p (it's so hard to get prayer up there...)
  9. when you complete an achievement diary (medium, hard, easy...) you get an x lamp,,but is it limited to a few skills or could i use them on whatever i want?
  10. i got prayer level 70 today, i'm training def now until i decide to get another skill up.
  11. well i decided to get 70 prayer with the money i have, so i can go training on AZ's more easily (and because it's such a handfull.) but i don't know which forum to go to for an open altar, i'd appreciate help with this a LOT
  12. the dogs in brimhaven dungeon are good charm droppers, i believe iron dragons are to.
  13. if you want to yield more harvest you need magical secateurs. You can get them in fairytale part 1
  14. nice work on that total level, i think that's something everyone out there wants, but not always will be able to achieve
  15. considering my current levels would i be able to go to the armoured zombies? Id really love getting up a bit faster in defence & strength.
  16. as long as it doesnt take 4 days to both gather and do, im fine with it. i think you can also do blast furnace and make mith bolts, i think you can actually make money on this way, but would take some time though. (oh and an SC hammer for smithing, takes a LONG time before it's effect wears off. i think it's around 40K, so you might want to take that in regard.) anyway blast furnace should be one of the most cost effective ways.
  17. i didn't have the chance to post my achievements yesterday so... anyway, it was a short day as usual (exams...) but i managed to do quite a bit, i was able to raise hunter and smithing and finish the "defender of varrock" quest short quest but fun. And only 4 more songs to go until i can do air guitar emote (finally -.-) Today i was able to get a few construction and prayer levels (con to 50 and prayer to 62) i didn't take pictures of all prayer levels though.
  18. This would be your best bet at making money back. I put my money in there on Wednesday at 100% approval. I check back a week later, usually without getting my approval rating back up and its down to maybe 93%. It use 75k gp a day and in a week that is 525k gp a week spent. But if you do it right you can make back 1.1m easily. You can even make more if you come online to get your approval rating back up. Oh and one more good thing, if you put enough money in there, and you go F2P they will still collect items for you. hah well, i'll guess i'll do that then, while killing things.
  19. you can use torag's in your day to day pvm combat. it's pretty cheap, and normally you should get out of costs in a few hours. (and it's one of the strongest def bonuses in the game btw)
  20. fletching => 99, the trimmed cape helps a lot. and if you do it with yew bows you make a slight profit. otherwise you can keep on woodcutting or smelt cannonballs... how does a trimmed skill cape help me make money? besides i'd rather not have the 2 most common capes in the game, i will trim it with smithing capes once i get another 250 sc hammers a trimmed cape makes your prayer potions last longer thus saving you money. And good luck with those sc hammers.

  22. what about saradomin sword only then?
  23. i've got 10m to spend and i'm thinking of buying a saradomin sword and a whip and lend them out. atm i don't have a lot of playtime so this could bring me in some extra cash. When they are lend out i'll be spending for whatever hours i can be online at woodcutting, fishing, etc. would this be a smart to do?
  24. a lot of studying today, and not much online time but i still managed to grab the ranged level and a construction level.
