RuneScape Information

  1. Yeah, vamp dust is something... Something to be left on the ground  But thanks for the info. Main reason for asking was it wasn't listed in the monster database. I hope someone will submit what they know about them for an update to it.
  2. I'm new to temple trekking, but i was killing juv vamps and wanted to see what this guthix balance potion did. (couldn't find a list of rewards or much information) I got about 4-5 on the encounter and killed 1-2 before i could time it to use the potion (hitting too hard). First two vamps turned human and gave me some lame rewards (noted iron skirt, something mithril). Third vamp i use the potion on turned into a mutated or mutant vampire. Looked like a regular vampire on steroids and it's muscles were probably 2x the size of my guy and a little taller. If I knew how to do screen shots, I would have gotten one. But anyways, all the text i read said was that they turned human or into regular vampires. Anyone else seen these? I'll be doing more trekking. Trying to get lumberjack stuff. Also, would like to know where to do submissions here incase i run into one again. (drop was just vampire dust)
  3. i c. well thanks ppl. ill just keep watering on first tick like i have... unless i decide to do a white lily for some reason :)
  4. Cool. But does it help the yeild at all? Most of what i lose is herbs, not flowers/veg :o
  5. Well. Here's some of my takes from the skills you already have. Slayer 59 means jellies for clue scroll 3s - good profit. Fletching maple long u makes u around 175k/hr as junk if u have items to lend out. I assume u already know laws make u around 150-200k/hr. U've probably started sharks at 80 fishing :) Other than these, just do get ur free member stuff each day. Bstaffs from staff shop(7kea ->8.3k on ge) 8-64 per day depending on varrock armor u wear. Hand in sand gives u 10-20k free sand. Seers headband give upto 120 free flax. Seaweed/pineapples at Catherby dock give 20k profit. And i assume u know how to make 80k+ every 80 mins farming herbs,marigold/limp, and supercompost (plus fruit trees). If u can take pickin flax, there area southeast of Lleya bank (bout 10 squares) is closest :) Good luck, buddy.
  6. As far as broad bolts goes, they hit harder than knives/arrows generally. So, kill faster. Using knives until u can use broad bolts (60gp ea), should maximize ur exp. Idk bout ur profit tho. Slayer's profit is in the clue scrolls (in my opinion) until u can kill sara mages for d boots :) I wouldn't train controlled on whip unless you're no where close to 18m for a bando godsword (or ss if u have 7-8m) I would suggest u train att/str (dependin on which gs u'll ultimately want sgs or ags). Far as farming goes, buy watermelons to make supercompost (u can do this at lvl 1). You can use 4 buckets and sell 11 for (15x100=1500cost 11x500-600=5500-6600selling for 4k-5.1k profit per bin). Guams sell well (better than mar/tar) but any herb is good profit at ur lvl (seeds only 15-100ea). Plant marigolds or limps when u can for profit also. Dont use compost. Super will lessen chance for disease and boost harvests. I'll leave the cave fight advice for the pros. For smithing, check out the blast furnace guide. Smithing cannonballs is very slow. (varrock achievement armor will help speed smelting/smithing things a bit and gives u access to furnace by edge bank. closest in game) As a rule, smelting makes money and smithing wastes it (reverse this for experience). You can also do 'stealing creation' minigame for clay hammer (2x exp smithing) if u choose to smith. Hope this helps a bit
  7. I always wonder while farming if watering the plots actual contributes to it. I've harvested pretty much the same and lost the same amount weather i watered or not. Granted I always use supercompost for few more exp. But I haven't seen/heard of anyone discussing this topic. (I live in farming area) I know crops are SUPPOSE to need water, sun and nutrients (compost) to grow well, but rs isnt the real world. Anyone have any definite answers?
