  1. There is no point sending a ship with 14000/12000 in a stat. Keep 1 leveled crewmember in the port, he might come in handy on the 4th ship. Pretty crazy it took me so long to figure that out...
  2. I've seen and reported quite a few maxed player boting cooking in the cooking guild... How to tell ? Sometimes their bot messed up and they run next to the range, stay there a while, return bank, repeat. That lasts for a few minutes... Next to keyboard botting i guess. SAD... they could just afk like allmost everybody else.
  3. Thus a DIY account will of course be poor in cash, the only reliable sources of coins if you exclude trading being selling to shops (poor), diaries (lol), SOF (lol), monster drops (hehehe) and alching (ouch). The DIY still has to open wallet for construction and summoning. Making money is a huge grind too. And a grind that makes no sense at all. Medium level player goes to dragons for money, sells crafting and prayer xp to afford gear. This is understandable still. But that player will also need crafting and prayer xp eventually too...
  4. Doing daily shopping runs is an awesome way to make money, especially for a new account : * Feathers from fishing shops, those sell for 30 coins each atm, easy 20k+ of profit per shop * Seaweed / Pineapples from Arhein in Catherby. Seaweed sells for 600+ , i'd keep tth pineapples to make supercompost * Broad Arrowheads form a slayer master * There are many more.
  5. Pretty sure fly fishing at shilo is indeed the fastest/xp at your level. I would also grab some fishing urns/and fammy, every extra xp is welcome for a slow skill as fishing.
  6. I'm getting around 95/105k xp/h at teaks on ape toll, jujus, lumberjack, adze with yack, yackbanking special logs/nests, normal banking the other logs. It's pretty relaxing. I have less than 0 experience with Arctic Pines...
  7. Just wondering if the information about how many previous TT trips were done just disappeared... I liked the amount of trips i had done on the signs... Other than that cool update.
  8. If money really isn't a problem there is no reason going out of your way to bank bones/ashes and hides. Just like in the real world, there is no reason doing dirty work if you can afford all you need anyway. Dirty work here means banking 'manually' Little tip/advice : charms and stuff like seeds are a pain to pick up without a *right click placeholder* for them... May be a good idea to not use bonecrusher/Urns on nechs/hellhounds/etc if your clicking abilities aren't that great.
  9. With yak, jujus wc pots, urns and yak (to carry unfinished urns) you should easily get around 100k wc xp/h and 25-40k fm at ape toll using the deposit box (after deathliest catch) to only bank normal teak logs and yak scroll nests and special logs. The idea is too spend as much time woodcutting as possible. Dunno how this changes without jujus and doing low alch instead.
  10. No need to aim for 97 for most skills for effigies tbh. Fletching and Crafting have a cheap + 3 boost. Cooking has the chef's delight, and it's not that hard to give cooking assists. You'd be surprised at how many 138 combat noobs need cooking assists everyday...
  11. I usually repot at 118/125 on regular slayer monsters when using extremes. At 120/125 when de defense of the monster is high (like wyverns or mith drags p e). I do consider inventory space too... Geez at repot once per minute or so, where the hell do you put prayer potions then. and loot.
  12. 1. Willows are pretty terrible xp nowadays, last time i cut some aftre doing an Evil Tree i was so unimpressed that i dont even use the Evil Tree reward anymore... Ivy is far slower xp than teaks. Best rate i ever got from Ivy was like 72k/h lol. This was with paying near full attention... With Juju potion and urns i get like 100k/h banking the logs (i pack yack bank nests and special logs) at teaks. 2. Special logs are very random : should get around 4 to 10 per hour. Boris5000 is freaking Lucky lol. 3,4,5. No idea
  13. Woodcutting teaks... Banking all special logs and bird nests with scroll. Carrying a crap load of urns too.
  14. Tortoise filled of Brews-Super Restores for Nomad With a Spirit Kyatt when the tortoise empty, spamming the scrolls. I would range nomad taking advantage of Ruby and Diamond specials but 71 range may be a bit low for that, not sure.
  15. A max hit of 500 isn't exactly bad especially for the low cost involved and the spirit dagg is very fun to use.
  16. Not being a fan at all of those popular non-combat magic training methods... (there is superheat that's ok, maybe livid farm if interested in the spells...) Mage slaying, while slower than pure melee is still quite decent. Irons, Steels, Blues and Abbyssals in Kura dung are all very good. Should break even to profit if banking bones/ashes. Gargoyles can be maged too if unlocked auto-kill ability, stand in middle of the room, once they unagro just blast away in every direction. Avantage of this compared to melee : you dont need the room all for yourself to be efficient. Applies to abbyssals too (both get really crowded at times and hopping world is inefficient too lol). Can Burst/Barage nechs too, its definately fun. Definately aim to get a rapier for your stab weapon...
  17. My friend did them in rune plate + dragon skirt and that orange shield.... Extremes, a Bunyip, EEE, a bunch of tunas, Praying Range when under 600/910 Hp and Piety flashing at 91/92/91 melees and banked the bones... Took well over an hour for 80-90. It's their unstopable freeze attack that did the damage, i think a melee hit landed like once or twice a trip... My advice over it : use torso if you have it and borrow tassets as defense is pointless if praying range.
  18. Boost melee defense and pray magic instead. Works a lot better for me.
  19. Good luck killing waterfiends with those melee stats wearing blue d'hide... Black demons, Greater Demons, Dust Devils are all easy monsters that drop half decent crimson charms.
  20. Rune Warhammer, Rune fullhelm, Mithril legs, may be more that i forgot
  21. This is a great topic =D> , was allready doing that long ago (as in bearable decent fish xp while getting some dung xp too...) Profilled for tips and tricks.
  22. Gem Bag (2-3 per task are common, dust devils giving like 10+, and goraks a hell lot) Coal Bag (if not 80 mining yet, is probably decent too if superheat) Scroll of life, no need to explain i guess Scroll of cleansing, same Those are all very usefull in the long run. Arc Stream for anyone touching some combat magic. Rapier : the upgraded whip. This gives a good use for tokens imo if aiming for Frost Drags : leaves enought for decent ring upgrades and a stack left to see further. Not going to talk about efficiency for the bonecrusher and herbicide but another drawback of using those, especially crusher : leaves other drops harder to pick up. I saw that when friend kills hellhounds with crusher or abbyssals with Urns. -> a pain to pick up charms.
  23. Dragon dagger 200 Addy bolts from Ice Strykewyrm.
  24. And with those tactics you are trying to not lose money, not earn money. Get back to Mort Myre fungi picking. Gambling is just like pking : if you not willing to lose it all in hope for a big profit don't do it, as it's pointless.
  25. Smithing could be used to modify existing weapons/armor into more powerfull versions, lets say +10% stats just out of the blue. Once modified those items become untradable, dwarfs gladly dispose of any unwanted item. Chance to successfully modify a wep/armor is 10% base all the way to 75% at full mastery. To get higher chances one has to modify (success or failure counts) items of the same type. On death those items are reverted to normal versions. Smithing level required to modify wep/armor is base combat needed to use + 20 so per ex : 60 for rune 80 for dragon 90 for barrows Gives smithing a decent use imo, and gets rid of a lot of junk used to train smithing normally. Fletching could get a similar treatment.
