Walking along the road towards the mind shrine with Smoke, I noticed that there seemed to be an unusually small number of newbies around. Perhaps rumours of RoseÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s free mithril armour had got around. Hearing a scream, I whirled around and layed eyes on a lesser demon preying upon a small wizard. Normally, I wouldnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t bother helping out, but I noticed something that changed my mind instantlyÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ WellÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ two things actually. Grabbing Smoke by the shoulder and shoving him, screaming, at the demon, I pulled out my bow and started firing a few arrows at it. Needless to say, the demon became quite annoyed and turned around. I could almost hear the gears in its tiny brain turning. Smoke was nearer, and it was getting shot at. Thus, it was thinking, the strange human falling towards it, emitting a high pitched noise, must be the one that was causing the pain. Sensing what was happening, SmokeÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s scream changed from ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅAAAAAAAARGGH!ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

I arrived in Varrock, travelling at the usual supersonic speed, and made an undignified landing in the fur-sellers stall. The barbarian arrived a second later, hurtling into me. My rucksack, containing my entire inventory, was torn off. I got to my feet, she was stood there, holding her axes and looking mighty chuffed with herself. ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅLook, about the bind spell-ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬Å SmokeEagle began. I was already turning to run when one of her rune axes sliced my leg off, affectively stopping my escape. Chapter 3: Arkdale Shocked, I dropped my dagger and began to pace backwards, praying that IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢d remembered to pack my demon-removal kit. Grasping my sword handle, I slowly drew the blade from its sheath, trying to make as little sound as possible. As if somehow amused, the demon started to laugh then stopped abruptly. ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅYesÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ you could become a problemÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâæÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

:arrow: Erm... right-o. Character development smaracter development, why let a tiny thing like that get in the way of a good story? ;) And, 'Action film(s)'? I don't see the reseblance personally (apart from the few badly written fight scenes). Finally; Great. Being likened to Goosebumps... never a good thing... :( Thanks for your comments all the same, though. I'm sure to put some of this new-fangled 'character development' into 'A Tale of Two Cities' or, if you're lucky, into the current series (which has about 4-5 chapters left methinks).

Hey there, just a quick update: If youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re wondering why itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s taking us so long to post each new chapter, itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s because weÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re currently working on another new project. And yes, it is the sequel to the Gaalsien & SmokeEagle Saga. All IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll tell you right now is that its subtitle is ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹ÃâA Tale of Two CitiesÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢. And before you start moaning I know itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s already a book title! I just figured itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢d suit this story too (and I couldnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t be bothered to think of an original and influential title). Most of your favourites characters will return (IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m not sure how though) and we figured weÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢d try to write a more serious story the next time around. So if youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re getting impatient, just look forward to the next one.
