i just unlocked world-georger, can someone give me a brief summary on how to do him.
If 1-2 hexes:
Hexers kill the range eye while it's alive, csbers kill the mage eye while it's alive.
Then just normally melee the big dude.
Try and sync the death of the mage eye and the range eye.
If no hexers, I think you'd melee the range eye and do the rest the same.
If 3+ hexers, melee the melee eye and mage (hexers can melee) the mage eye, then just normally range/melee the big dude.

I've often wondered if this would be useful as a niche weapon at Waterfiends (for those without a Chaotic Maul obviously, and free cash to spend) especially when using elite void. I don't know if the +20crush bonus and +50 strength over the Saradomin Sword are enough to make it better, or even comparable.
From personal experience Saradomin Sword annihilates Waterfiends with void piety and extremes, often faster than the average inefficient maulers I run into who seem lucky to hit a 400 for some strange, or maybe obvious, reason.
Maybe I'll spend the money and the 4 hour timer and see how much better, or likely worse, it is.
...Or just keep obsessively cannoning Skeletal Wyverns for charms. :-D
Sara sword / zam spear annihilate godswords for wfs.
It is an ok spec weapon, but that's all.
Chaotic maul is very comparable to sara sword / zam spear, I think it's supposed to be a bit better but it's not by much.

If you already have decent armour for melee and ranging and weapons, and still have money left, I would buy one.
Of course, people can still go "Oh, but use an EE or EEE" or "Oh, use a Bunyip or a Unicorn" but there's still situations where a SGS is better then all of those. And if you don't like it once you buy it, just sell it back.
Name one.
dag kings
If you have access to dag kings efficiently (yak, ovlds, turmoil) you also have soul split and EEE which is much better than an SGS. Not to mention you should be using brews to heal because you have ovlds. If you don't have that your time is better spent elsewhere.
Its for prayer + safety net healing
with soulsplit you dont need the healing (yak, ovlds, turm, cannon tri/hybrid)
I ss flash a lot + cannon kills prime so can ss rex easy
alternatively could use claws but I find that messes up spawn times
if you are incompetant and mage pray entire time at dag kings 2.5brid then yes eee is a good alternative because its consistant.

A lot of people don't actually know how to walk around monsters to safespot them. If you walk through them it does not work. Your ending point must be North or South of the middle monster.
It also works with players blocking but they do not seem t olike having angry melee monsters trapped behind them
I'll probably do a more in depth version eventually but I just thought I'd show this for those who don't know.
So when people say "don't trample ffs" that means you walked through the monsters, letting meleers hurt people. Don't do that.

ct is slower though even with bots

Don't use guthans just use food, guthans lowers your dps a lot, def use kuradel
make sure you have decent armour + piety + super pots (including sup def pot) so you'll hardly use any food
for charms look @ rswiki -> summoning -> training summoning
will tell you in general what's best to make at what level
for an approximate i.e. the most possible xp you can look at this

For hunting an item, do 5:5 small of the floor where the boss appears most (sag is f24 I think)
If you do not have 5, do med with 2+ players
I highly recommend against sag longbow though. I assume he has 2 binds?
Since hood isn't as useful for small teams, and it sounds like he doesn't have the hood, prom plate would be better than tyranno body, because the longbow has a lot of accuracy.
You could also consider sag short + tyranno body.
Personally I'd recommend Kata 2h + sag short since he's set on ranging, and it's decent for mages.
C1 the first 70% of your floors, c6 med/large the last 30%.

@ Rare, I do agree that past trivia should be availiable in this thread.
There is an archieve of it in dungeonsweepers tif board for wing+ and on grimy's forums for anyone.
I personally don't think you should be posting someone else's guide here without their permission, although yes, it'd be nice if more people read good guides.
And on that subject me and toad have been doing some guides work, and will try and release advanced methods for things asap !

Yeah obviously it'd need a revamp.. I wonder if we can get in contact with the guidemaker. Hmm.
I think people on grimy's forums were working on some combat mechanics guide, including that type of safespotting. Dunno what's been happening there.
Personally I feel that the guide has way too many examples, most of which don't even work anymore. Revamping seems like it'd be worse than just writing a new short guide. Could certainly credit the guide for some information though

Posting this here too so people don't get misinformed
It's certainly a great guide, but a lot of that stuff was nerfed in 2007
Monsters now move diagonally instead of e-w before s-n or w/e
and they don't get stuck on corners
I remember the cries about how fire cape is now impossible as a pure, lol
but there is certainly some useful information in there, just don't want to be misinforming people
you can still safespot monsters by walking around a monster/person and being N/S of your safespot.

It was a quickchat world l0l
failed levers like 4x
blood took forever to come to mimes
kept spamming "I like your emote"
and "Get this guardian off me!"
hahhaa

Point is you have improved dps against ccs weak things and stab weak things. Not it's comparable dps to slash weak things.
But yes, I do think primal baxe + either one is probably better.
It'd maybe be ok if hardly any people had variety in their binds, like in 3bo or something. (Although they always seem to attack the wrong monsters dps wise)
It'd certainly be fun to try though
-
Yea emp fire is a good idea for before you have a chance to craft fire runes.
Sag short with kata arrows from the start table is probably better, however, it takes away valuable starting cash so I'd recommend primal maul + ccs + emp fire + csb
-
Bind primal maul, ccs, csb, and seekers charm / blood neck / primal pickaxe
I can't think of much else without a def requirement
Or hex if you happen to be given one.

What are all of your stats

Is there a guide to monster weaknesses and priorities based on weapon?
98DG and I still don't know what the hell Fire Giants are weak to, aside from Magic, lol.
Nor do I know what "lower theme" monsters like hobs are weak to... been doing a lot of low floors for the benefit of returning friends and low DG clanmates.
Err, also, what difference does each upgrade to the Berserker ring make? The first post says it's non-trivial, but 230k tokens seems like quite a bit to pay for T10. I do have T9 though. :)
I think it saves a few seconds per floor. So it definitely adds up over time. And the few seconds is assuming 1 person, all 5 being t9 would add up timewaste !
-
Dinos are only really worth it if you do it for keyers with hex in occult floors.
In general I'd much rather encourage people to try and do unclaimed paths while there aren't gds.
-
lol
take the key !
...
rly? quit floor?
hahahaha
If you are going to fake a pic tui, at least don't put your personal gate on the key.
I put the key in there with my gs, locked it in, called people over and they were like rly, quit?
and then I tele'd in and got it and continued floor

Sagittarian body till I get a blood neck drop.
Sag body isn't impressing me. I may just go with an easy offensive bind and switch to a plate when I feel like keying a few.
I'm dying to try a flameburst defender with a battleaxe.
6 slash 5 crush 5 str versus 12 str??
And means you have to reequip it after using hex..
Sag body means you have to pray range a lot. Things like demons, ghosts, even books you don't need mage pray against with some mage def.
The accuracy allows you to do much better on hexable bosses mostly. And you don't need the defense of plate as long as you are smart about praying.
-
The keyer shouldn't be giving you a small gate
If they tell you to gate somewhere, you should be checking your map to see if its a large path and if it isn't ask someone else to gate it instead
Of course, back up their gate until you have something else
I have 2 people gate the same area fairly often (when 1 door is a large path, obviously do not do for de's)

How about hood + primal rapier + ccs combo ?
Dungeonsweepers (DGS) - Huge changes; read first post.

I've written a guide on map reading & team organization, relevant to keyers and dspers alike.
I highly recommend it, as I think it'd benefit most dgsers.
It is located on grimy's forums.
