  1. As a physics major, you are wrong. End of story. In metric system, weight is in Newtons. So shut up. Go away. This stuff matters to people. Just because what you do in society will not matter too much does not mean that other people here can and will do things that matter. And mass and weight are very different. Honestly, don't try to look so "cool" by yelling at people who are right. Yes, I know you are right, I am just saying that this is not a very valid point to make since it is is constantly used in real life that way. In other words, a kilogram can be both used as a unit of mass, and as a unit of weight, in which case it equals 9.81 newtons. Either that or you can say that people mean mass when they say weight. For now, before we colonize other planets and become 100% geeks, it matters less than political correctness (I guess you can call it "scientific correctness").
  2. Ok, some of you are in a serious need of science education. First of all, don't try to look smart by saying the whole crap about kg's being a measure of mass. IRL, WEIGHT AND MASS ARE USED INTERCHANGEABLY AND MEAN THE SAME THING FOR EVERYDAY PURPOSES!!! If you're going to point that out about RS, point it out for real life too! The other thing I want to adresss is the iron hydroxide nonsense. What idiot told you it was a gas?! It is what happens when you put dry rust (iron oxide) into water. In general, metal oxides turn into hydroxides as soon as they come in contact with water, and most of the time there isn't much of a noticeable difference between the two. I think a better explanation for the cannonballs is that they break or get damaged and can't be reused. And also, I still don't get why you guys get so upset over the steel thing. COAL BURNS!!!! Most of the coal you stick into the furnace burns up and does not mix with the iron. Steel is only about 2% carbon, btw. Someone beat me to saying that obsidian is nothing more than volcanic glass. Yeah, guys, try strengthening you windowpanes by melting them with some charcoal. You might even add some molten granite to see what kind of a mess you'll get. I can guarantee you, though, its not going to be any stronger. Well, I could point out all kinds of fallacies in RS, but it would take me forever. All I can think of is that mixing crude oil (or even better, swamp crap), sulfur, and quicklime won't give you anything even closely resembling a bomb. Other than that, if you guys are going to point out scientific errors, at least make sure you know what the hell you're talking about.
  3. That's the Mandelbrot fractal except for the reddish separated spots in the middle of the sig, it's supposed to look that way. But I might change that, dunno.
  4. Pixel art can be quite smooth. My avatar is pure pixel art with no special effects unless copying and rotation are special effects. The outline was pixel by pixel though.
  5. What's up with the BOPPS (blue overlapped polygon photoshop siggys)? Everyone has them.
  6. HELLO?! The sig was editted can't you see??? The blurred one is the old one.
  7. Lol they're just cool, especially for sigs :P
  8. -----------------------------Sig Updated--------------------------- What do you think now?
  9. Does the bg fractal look bad? The text will use some editting I know.
  10. I don't like the font either, gonna try to find a good one but it's not that easy. Not a very bad score for my first time thogh. :P
  11. Rate on a scale from 1 to 10, 1 being the worst. Thanks. SIG EDITTED.
  12. Even if the graphics suck, they are not what makes a great game. And as for little community interaction that's 1000% (that's not a typo) wrong. Well from the point of view of a lv3 noobie...
  13. Yea it's not supposed to have color and shadow. I made it by duplicating a 2-pixel segment with paint. That's why it looks solid.
  14. Uncut saphire. I only got two old man events
