I'd just like to make a remark on the "P2P trial" that's supposedly coming out this week. It's been rumoured around Jagex is giving all pure F2P accounts a 7-day P2P trial (with a catch - you need to provide you credential information and if you don't cancel in time they will charge you for it). While that is difficult to imagine, many player moderators have confirmed it. Therefore, if indeed this does happen, all accounts who indeed accept this offer will be removed from this list for obvious reason.

However, as the list is much easier to update now I don't suppose it will be too much of a problem.

It gives a slight bonus to experience rates, because it drops your team combat average. If your team combat average drops below a certain point you get double the experience because of the F2P high level cap failure (It's not 90. We once tested on 89, and it didn't work). The level 3 gets even more though... And it's not fair. Sometimes the bonus is offset by the extra time it takes.

A new problem has risen, and I'll be straightforward. This problem concerns whether or not to add certain qualified Top 250 F2Pers onto the list against their will. The following players are not on the list because they have requested to be taken off at some point in the near and distant past: Mauranius Tawrus Devilstator Tezaki1 Recently, Bommatje requested that I remove Lerua85. This stirred up a controversy. Our goal is to maintain the accuracy of this list. However, an ethical issue is raised where players wish to be removed for whatever reason, thus compromising its accuracy. Runehead has a policy by which anyone can ask to be removed from a memberlist and expect to be removed. After taking many factors into consideration and in consulting with many people, I have come to the following compromise (please understand that no solution here will please everybody): - Re-adding anyone who asked to be removed is a violation of their right to stay unassociated with our list. I will not re-add them unless they themselves change their mind. - Anyone eligible for the list who has not yet personally asked me, Jake, any previous maintainers, or Runehead Staff, to remove them will remain on the list. - Anyone who wishes to be removed from the list hereon must personally ask me or Runehead Staff to be removed. Armeng and I came up with some things to consider: - A disclaimer regarding the accuracy of the list - Keeping a list of players who have asked to be removed from the list somewhere on this thread. That being said, I have updated the list. A skiller is always welcome in a team of high levels to get around the 90 cb exp restriction. ;) The problem with that is - it's quite unfair. The high levels do all the work, and the skiller either AFKs or does very little. In the end the skiller gets far more xp than those who actually contributed by doing nothing. Actually, I've tried this method myself and unless the skiller is very helpful it only gives a marginal increase in xp rates.

So we're making unaccurate lists now? (Not blaming you Isthatok) I'll make it simple, put everyone on the list that is top 250 - requested not to be on or not or you can simply take me off too. :huh: Up to you guys... make it correct, or mess up the value of the list. Unfortunately I can no longer check if somebody has P2P with IRC Runescript. I can use Armeng's spreadsheet but it only works for about half the names at any given time. Fortunately it's random so if I notice anything I'll remove the player. It seems that even if this person was F2P they are exploiting this bug far too much and should not be added to the list as it would make a clear visible difference. Jornieboy2 has 2 unranked xp. I will not add this person until things are cleared up. Ranman60 is no longer listed as "glitched".

You're right, they have 15 unranked xp. Maybe it's from a P2P glitch in dungeoneering? No, like a year or so ago already someone found out about the p2p xp. It's not from Dungeoneering. "Glitched" or remove?

Got flamed today for kindly denying noobs level 96 and 88 into my party for being too low. This is why it is a waste of time partying with noobs: Quoted from the KB article "Dungeoneering - The Basics": "NOTE - the difficulty of the dungeon is ALWAYS based on the lowest skill and combat levels in your party. For example, a party of five playing a 5:3 difficulty dungeon will find that the skill challenges and creatures' combat levels are balanced according to the three players with the lowest skill or combat levels. If a high level player raids with a party of low-level players on a low difficulty dungeon, they may find themselves with an XP penalty of up to 60%. In this instance, a warning message will appear when choosing the difficulty." It's probably bad luck and prejudice, but a whole lot of the ex-P2P players on world 113 with 1000+ total are arrogant (like these 96 and 88) and don't make good teammates anyway. I even had an 86 ditch the boss fight once and make the rest of us fight and die, and a level 100 flaming me on the same team as the 86. However, that being said I have managed to find a few suitable teammates in the 90's. I team mostly with 110/120+ and the experience is a lot better; not a single one I've met didn't know what they were doing. Since it is getting increasingly difficult to find suitable teams in dungeoneering, I'm thinking of creating a clan chat for 100+ combat and 1000+ total F2Pers and possibly a memberlist for players to get together more easily. The world 1 teams are brutal and random, and the whole world lags.
