My dogs listen pretty well. I should say my older one listens very well, and my puppy is still learning how to listen. Also dog>cats.

My mom told me my dad had that problem once when they went riding I guess. He was giving it gentle kicks, afraid of hurting it.

Horses are rather fun to ride, I hope to do so more one day. If I ever have money I might own a couple. I was able to ride a horse once, where I had very minimal control, someone was always holding a rope, but I could kind of steer it around.

Pictured: One of those enormous horses I mentioned @Tyler, not necessarily, some horse breeds come from other parts of the world, obviously by name, Arabians for instance. Who were kept small, just because Arabs conducted war differently, and it would be darn near impossible to feed and water a large number of European-style horses.

As I recall, the enormous workhorses of today are descended from medieval warhorses.

Right. Because being ridden whenever someone particularly small gets bored is just as good as being depended upon and trusted as your master rushes into a mass of men who's sole thought is to kill him.

Pictured: Tripsis' lady parts. No, knights used horses because they are larger and aren't bred for little girls to ride through flowery fields. Run away! They're bearing down on us!

Not in reality no. Just as you've never seen a pony perform magic. Charging pikes may not be efficient, but it sure as [cabbage] ain't [kitty], and it gets the job done. As for crushing skulls, the battlefield is a chaotic place, so if you fall under a cavalry charge, it's a good bet you're not getting up. Also, horses can easily kill people when they are startled and kick, especially in the head.

Ever see a pony charge a row of pikes? Ever see a pony crush a man's skull under it's hoof?

=/= >implying animated ponies are remotely as respectable as medieval warhorses leave plz Edit: Also pound for pound, people are stronger than horses.
