  1. Jagex did a VERY VERY VERY bad job on choosing the skill levels for items, quests, and other stuff >.<

We can 2-hit people already and there is no weapons past 78 attack >.> And level 78 is not even 2m xp, when you need 13m to max

There is a reason why lots of pures don't even train past 75 att >.>

Start to think they should chenge the reqs for all weapons =\

Godswords should have been at least 85 att >.>

This is the "year of fixing the game", yet Jagex is fixing the wrong stuff. They should fix the broken skills. Something to farm after level 85, something to kill after level 90 slayer, something to pray for after level 70, something *useful and rewarding* at any smithing level.

But in terms of end game weapons, i don't think it's possible to make an end-game weapon, a 99 att weapon would 1-hit anyone :ohnoes:

But if Jagex does find a way to make end game weapons, they should be untradable and should be rewards from insanely hard challenges ( Like Fight Caves, but harder) that are unlocked after insanely hard Grandmaster quest. The ability to use the best weapons in the game should come from hard work on hard challenges, not from getting a lucky visage drop or 76king for a week.

At 99 att, a 1-handed weapon with the speed of whip, accuracy of a godsword, a str bonus around 10-30 points higher than whip and a good special attack would be nice and not overpowered i guess =\

  2. I still think invisibility would be cool.

Imagine using it in bounty hunter! or pvp worlds. Not being able to attack when invisible of course, but then being able to appear and spec someone with d claws!

Am i the only one who hates the idea of invisibility?

Protect two items, a stronger version of smite, and a "piety" for range and mage are the only prayers i can think of :wall:

  3.

I think they should try combining all good boss into one boss. TD, switches prayer, Jad, need for YOU to keep an eye out and switch prayer, CB, high hp/damage nulifier (ruby e bolts hitting 100...) and an area attack...

    =D>

What makes the hardest bosses the hardest:

    1) High k0 ability

    2) Something you need to do to avoid this k0 ability

    3) A distraction

Jad is able of 1-hitting one person easily, you gotta keep prayer switching all the time, and the annoying healers can get you distracted.

Spirit Beast during Summers end too, you have to dodge his attacks not to be 1-hit and has to do some wierd activities in the area in order to kill it.

Imagine Tztok-Jad, add a protect prayer ( or maybe 2 like KQ),add an area attack you need to dodge, give him 2k hp, give him some sort of prayer draining thing (like Barrows prayer drain), give him minions besides the healers (like the gwd ones) and make him able of attack lots of people at the same time (attacking all people in the room instead of just one tanker).

Here, the ultimate Runescape boss. Oh yeah, don't forget to add ultimate drops that make GWD and Corp look like nothing.

  4. I wanna know where is the sequel to Hazeel cult

A Zamorakian Mahjarrat ( that was stronger than the strongest monster of the time) says that we are an ally to Zamorak and to the Mahjarrat tribe and we wait over 7 years for a sequel?

    :(

  5. Before rwt updates, friends used to be able to hold the items for you, and jagex made graves to substitute that ability.

Friends weren't able of picking up untradables, so they are off graves, and i'm actually glad they are this way, death is not risky in runescape anymore.

But, i agree that all thoose points for a bad item that is lost easily is bad, very very bad :|

  6. I am also an evil creature that likes quests for the storyline *hides*. Lulz, i'm f2p for 3 years and i know everything about most quests, i read about them just to know about their storyline

A friend of mine was doing underground pass the other day and i had to tell him how to do it step-by-step >.<

Anyway, heres the things that make a good quest (to me, at least):

    1) Storyline

    2) Challenge ( easy things are for noobs. And no, "annoying" things, such as having to bank and go to a place veeery away all the time, and "long" things are not "hard", although long quests are harder than the 7 minuts quests normally. Also, high requeriments is not "hard" either)

    3) Reward

Jagex has only been focusing on storyline, and making crappy challenges and rewards >.>

No Jagex, "do puzzle-talk to npc-kill lvl X boss" isn't "hard", even when it takes 10 hours to do it.

And no, xp rewards are not good rewards either.

Underground Pass was challenging, because you had to explore an unknown area full of traps. MEP2 was challenging for the puzzles. Monkey Madness is hard for the stuff attacking you all the time and for the boss.

And the quests with *good* rewards are the ones with *useful* rewards, not random 400k xp and a random item. Everyone loves DT because of ancients. Barrows gloves are great. Dragon scimmy is great if you have low att/need to train str and don''t have ss/is a dragon pure.

New runecrafting altars / new areas to explore / new good monsters to kill / hell, even a keyring are all good rewards. 400k xp, nty.

Also, Jagex needs to make bosses that are hard. Just a monster with random combat level that you can pray and eat to kill is not hard.

You need a boss that require a strategy to kill and has high ko hability. Jad for example, you need to prayerswitch every att or get k0ed, not to mention the healers distracting you.

Spirit beast, that require a special way to kill during the quest and can 1-hit you if you get distracted and don't dodge the attack. Thoose are hard, others are not.

Well, at least i gotta admit, the storylines Jagex make are great :|

*phew*, took a while to write all that

  7. About MMG being more into mini-games, i don't think so, if you check the hints in the latest postbags there are A LOT of quests in the making ( including new elf quest hopefully  ), but after months and months of only non-challenging quests that are nothing compared to the good old-school ones, i'm not sure if i can even look forward to them

If they make a new elf quest, and it's bad, i will go insane. INSANE.

  8. I wanna know what happened to the guys that made MM, Underground Pass and DT...

Even WGS wasn't a really that good quest, the storyline was great, but besides that...

The only reason why it is "Grandmaster" is the requeriments and how long the quest is, most people i know that did the quest say it isn't really that hard, some people said Underground Pass > WGS >.>

Xp only rewards are bad, good rewards are things that are useful, like new areas to explore, or new spells. Why does Jagex thinks DT is one of the best quests out there? And MM? And Recipe for disaster? They have the best quest rewards, has Jagex forgotten what made thoose quests so great?

  9. Isn't West of the frozen waste plateau "The North" of the mahjarrat quests?

If so, how can that place be just an icy tundra?! It's gonna be an epic place

Isn't there a "Cursed Arquipelago" south of Harmony island mentioned in pirate quests, where Rabid Jack was?

Might end up being an important place.

I also heard that a book about the Myreque quests mentions a city called "Darkmeyer" near Meyerditch, where the vampire lords live... idk if that's true, only saw that in the rs wikia :?

If it's true, Darkmeyer is the Morytania area

  10. What if all the Gods in the respective world religions are real, and recruiting our souls after death to fight out a bitter eternal war in the afterlife against one another....

Its better to be an atheist

If we never feel tired, don't feel pain, "respawn" and have the option to not fight, it would be kinda awesome

    Atheist here btw

  11. Jagex will release a new skill, called Sailing.

Anything, I hope the world will come to an end, that'll be fun. But probably nothing at all.

Sailing released = End of the world for me >.<

The only thing that will happen in 2012 is annoying people thinking the world will end...

Can't wait for 2013 when we can lol @ them =D

  12. 1 year whitout seeing a big revenant group?

You are very very lucky, they have always grouped O_o

I actually wish they were more organized, escaping thoose guys is easy, the Wilderness is too safe now >.<

  13. I really really hope the quick-pray and offer-x bones weren't the only prayer update they have planned, when the skill ends at level 70, there is something wrong :wall:

After a certain level, the only motivation to train is the stupid cape, no skill should be like that =\

Have you smithed recently? Its pretty much USELESS (for the most part). At least with prayer you get more prayer points to help you last longer. Anyways, It doesnt really make much sense to have skilling prayers. Why would the gods give a cabbage about your ores? Crops I can understand, but we already have lunar magicks.

I do agree smithing is useless and needs updates asap, but this thread is not about smithing is it?

More prayer levels do last longer, but, really with 1m xp you already have all prayers and the skill max out at 13m xp =\

At lvl 91, is it really worth it to get twice the xp you got already just for prayer lasting 8 pray levels longer and the stupid cape? >.<

In a game where half the work in a skill is from 91-99, half the content should be in 91-99 >:o

Ok, maybe not half the content, but a lot of content at least.

I agreed with no-skilling prayer though, i would like thoose, but why the hell would the gods care if your mining quickly or not? They want you to fight in their name, not skill!

Wish there was a stronger version of smite and a range/mage version of piety

  14. Thanks for the welcome

You know, i actually don't doubt they could make a random animation movie and put to download on the website... wouldn't be surprised if they do that someday, there is even a Runescape book, why not a random animation movie?

The thing i always want Jagex to do the most is a Zaros vs Zamorak fight cutscene :(

  15. Amg first post on tip.it =o

Now, let's be realistic, if Jagex made a Runescape movie it would be a 1/2 hour animation put to download on the website, and a live action movie would be terrible

If they did that movie, they would problably make the movie about some cool part of Rs storyline, like Zamorak vs Zaros fight ( which i actully hope they do, ghostly robe mini quest describes the fight as being so cool and Jagex can't even do a cutscene of it >:o)
