So the gains were pretty slow today, just lazy slayer and WC, but I did some working out of stuff.
It looks like Jagex is only going to count quests ENDED on the weekend, so if you start a quest, you can end it on the weekend to make it count, leading to a big stack of quest points waiting. 143 quest points in around an hour I believe I worked out, and I've worked out the stats that I could realistically go for that could get me up to 334 quest points in the weekend if I REALLY no-lifed quests.
Fun times? ;)

Reason I never really posted ironman progress here was because I was already half-way done with it before I thought "Hey, I could post my progress to my blog!"

117 kills later, finally got all 4 pieces. Got 2 double pieces, visage, dragon kiteshield, dragonbone upgrade kit and an effigy too :P
Celebrated this by making 7k dragonbane arrows. Arrows. Not bolts.

People who ask for money and give nothing in return are pathetic losers, simple as that.
I know it might be harsh, but there is no better way to put it.
Being at a low level isn't an excuse, if you are at a low level and don't know how to make money, ask for help.
I agree, people asking for donations is disgusting when it's done because people just want the cash. I know some people who have had 9/10 of their bank donated to them, and they still act like they're a good player even though they take the free stuff all the time.
Sure, if you're going for 200m all, and people want to give you money to help you, that's fine, but not if you're just going to beg like a [bleep] for money, that's just wrong in my opinion.

You can trade bonds to an ironman account.
Trade bonds from main account to ironman account, redeem for membership.
Bam. P2P Ironman.

Round 2 had technical problems. There was a 1M buy-in and the winner would take the pot. However...due to technical difficulties (massive lag, disconnections, etc.), it had to be cancelled. My understanding is that, for now, everyone is out 1M.
I did not participate with round 2 (as I have no 1M on my ironman I could not even think of participating). But I remember that at the time of round 2 the server kicked me and everyone else on my world (and I am sure many more worlds).
One of the things that led to the riot was Jagex's response on stream after the disconnects. They basically said "We're sorry about the server issues, it's been happening all weekend and it must be at its peak right now, we'll try and fix it. Anyway, thanks for supporting The Drop, and we'll see you again next time!"
There wasn't even mention of repayment of the 1m that players lost (I lost 1m, but I'm more bemused at the situation considering I didn't do it on my ironman :D), and that's what made players riot, the fact that there wasn't even a mention of getting your money back. While 1m might not be a lot to some people, it could be everything to others.
