Urgh, I misread it. Good call. I'm going to opt for the uncensoring [wagon] argument n_odie was (probably) meaning to put forward to me. It was an extremely open question and I hope you can understand why I misread it :oops: Now, let's forget about all this previous bleh for the moment and let's roll. _______________________________ Personally, I'd rather hear your case for censoring it first. I want to hear how something which is thrown around pre-watershed (and quite happily too) could offend people in such a manner as to say "Right, let's censor this," As I am proposing this, I really should be doing the talking first, but I want to hear what you have to say on the case first. Why is this word so offensive? How is it that 3 letters can make someone so upset that you must censor it? What is so dire and disgusting about this piece of vocabulary that no-one is allowed to say it?

Well, I accept that they can but don't you think that people will be less inclined to do that if they're even slightly satisfied with that one word being uncensored?

So, what you're saying is is that people do find it offensive, therefore you censored it, but then censoring could produce more elaborate cuss words. I could call you a [hide]ballbag[/hide] for example. (I'm not calling you it. I'm using it as an example. If you do not wish to be offended, don't open the hide tags. Please don't ban me D:) Which is a hell of a lot more offensive than donkey, and I'd take offence and I'm sure most people here would take offence from it, but isn't censored. Personally, I can't see it. At the risk of repeating myself, it's only going to make more people conjure up more elaborate swearwords as I have demonstrated above in the hide tags.

It would appear to me that Runescape's actual censors have gotten more lenient while yours have gotten ever tighter, binding us to use an 'educated vocabulary' or whatever the desired effect may be. But seriously. Donkey? Censored? That's just ludicrous. It's not "offensive". I don't feel offended when someone calls me an [wagon], or uses it in their casual speech. You should seriously reconsider where you stand on your censors. It's easy to evade and it's just pointless to censor such a playground word. [wagon].

I got ISTP. And, wow- Like, this is a really good description of me. There's very few and minor things I disagree with here.
