  1. Alright, but Archi, it's a blizzard. I thought I'd be able to go ahead with it until it subsides. Besides, I wanted to cast the ritual on top of the tower. Also, if I can, I'll buy one more charging stone. So 6.0 ice magic if that's alright. Ok, so I construct a tower with four floors. The first floor is twenty feet high and is like the reception room. There is a spiral staircase to the second floor, which is more around ten feet high, being my sleeping quarters. Another spiral staircase leads to the third floor, also ten feet high, which is where I keep my stuff (sorta like my kitchen and artifact room). Finally, an icy ladder leads you to the top of the tower which is exposed to the element. There is a small pedastal, which is where Jen places the charging stone. She attempts to conduct a ritual to create a permanent snow storm around the mountain that she's built her tower on. < These are things that actually do something, so these are roll/exp things Jen attempts to create an icy fence around the flat part of the mountain where her house is. Jen attempts to make the sides of the mountain slippery Jen attempts to make stairs which can turn slippery at will Jen goes to the Elysian temple and attempts to create an impressive ice statue as a gift Jen goes to the town of Exile and promises protection and repentance (I think that's how you spell that) Jen returns to her house and attempts to add another enchantment to the diamond pendant just like the saphire pendant, but without removing the old one. Should be successful with the blizzard and ice staff bonus Jen attempts to fuse the charging stone (the second one) and the diamond pendant into her magical staff to create an even more powerful magical staff (like +2 on rolls or something, I would have no clue, this is your area Archi :)) Jen attempts to create enchanted ice robes which have either bonuses for casting spells or defence --------------------- Oh also, I'm on the look out for life crystals. I want to create a golem with 4 life crystals to guard my tower. Super-powerful ice titan anyone?
  2. (Psst, it's spelled amends. And I have to go, so Jen does the following) Jen wanders back to the land near Exile, having found her crystal. She meets up with her ice golem and enters her house for the final time, removing the ice enchantment as well as everything that she had there. She travels for a bit, until she finds the mountain that Mather had found. She begins the construction of a grand ice tower, which is considerably easier than normal because of her ice staff and the blizzard. First she creates large 5 feet by 5 by 10 feet blocks, which she joins together using frozen water as mortar, to create a base. She keeps trying to create the first floor, which is approximately twenty feet high. Afterwards she weaves a temporary icy roof over her head with her staff, just enough to keep out rain and snow, which would fill up the entire place quickly. She goes to sleep for the night. (Few Questions: Is it possible for the charging stone to break? Is it possible to create a staff with the charging stone in it with the ability for stronger and more accurate spells, as well as maintaining the snow storm over the tower? Also, is it possible for me to just create my house the way I want it without dice rolls and no exp? Most of it is for aesthetics, but you can roll on the stuff that actually does something. Is that alright with you?
  3. If you don't want it, I can move if you'd like. We can make a tunnel or something to connect our houses though.
  4. Permanent snowstorm. I'll need it to build an ice tower + I need the bonuses for ice magicks near my house, incase villagers come again. <_<
  5. That's why you don't go out hunting golems alone. Nick, Ares, and I were barely able to defeat our mother golem.
  6. You don't understand. The snow storm isn't inside the cave, it's outside the cave. Basically I am invoking a weather pattern. Could you start blowing up my part of the cave and moving that stuff to construct the underground portion? Actually, please do that after I create the snowstorm. I'll be making my house out of solid ice. -------- Jen says to the head mage, "I'm truly sorry Master, but I do not know how to prove to you that I have changed. Please look into my heart, you can see that I have changed!"
  7. "Thanks you Grandmaster. I will do so. If it is not too troublesome to ask, may I come here to learn more ice magic in the future? If I could even gain an ounce of the wisdom that you possess, it would be an honor." Jen obtains the charging stone for .2 ice magic levels, giving her... 6.3 ice magic I believe.
  8. (Fudge, a blind and deaf person.) Jen walked down the stairs and spoke with one of the mages, asking them how to alert him of her presence without startling him. She brings him along and tries to communicate with him magically, using the same words as before. The advanced mage can probaly sense the intent of the spell, so the spell doesn't really matter.
  9. Jen walks to the roof of the tower and sees the master mage. She bows down for the second time because the first time, she just bowed to an apprentice with flamboyant tastes. "Master, I have humbly come seeking knowledge of magicks and a charging stone. I wish to learn here at the Ivory Tower part-time, and I would like to conduct a ritual to bring a small snowstorm over the hottest part of the region, where I live. Being an ice magician, I feel uncomfortable there and I wish to make a home for myself. Please, ccan you help me?"
  10. Since you're level 3+, it's much harder to gain experience from the stuff you're trying. Think broader, more powerful.
  11. Jen walks into the tower and sees the head mage. She bows deeply as a sign of respect and greets him as an elder. "Oh powerful one, I come seeking knowledge of the magical arts and a mystical charging stone."
  12. There's no equivilant for an ice mage, except being frozen in a solid of ice to fall off a waterfall.
  13. We're off to see the Wizards! The wonderful wizards of Oz....
  14. Since I have to go soon, can we skip to the Ivory Tower?
  15. -Looks at Umbra- Must have...stone
  16. Jen tries to freeze the well shut, which should be easy with her ice staff and the blizzard.
  17. Maybe I should join them as an apprentice, assuming that they aren't too far away. Besides, how strong is a fully fledged mage? Also, are there any master magicians there? ------- Don't worry Ross, I'm coming in peace. :) ------- Jen tries to cure herself of her cold (I thought she wasn't affected by the cold)
  18. Jen attempts to scan the well with ice magic (sensing the temperature difference in the air, since it's a blizzard).
  19. How long does the blizzard last and do you think we'll get to the Ivory tower by then?
  20. I was going to ask nicely for a crystal myself, since he can create a lot of them. Also Archi, can you start giving us events about walking there? Or is it just a nice stroll where we arrive there soon?
  21. Woah, amazing. At my level, that only earns 0.3 ice magic. I guess I have to work with a level 20 magic guru to get any sizable chunk of experience then. :) -------------- So what are my bonuses for the blizzard? Do I get like a bonus on all ice magic rolls?
  22. Oh, I had a great idea. We could enlarge the cave so that there are two entrances. One is protected by ice magicks, the other fire magicks. Meanwhile, Ross' fusion elementals can patrol throughout the entrances. Good idea?
  23. Sorry Pies, we're going to catch some bigger fish to fry. (Congratulations Grim!)
  24. Feeling a rush of power after leveling to 6.1 in ice magicks, Jen attempts to create a temporary snow storm in the region.
  25. (I've forgotten it, come along. Of course Ross will probaly get a bigger share of the loot, but if you're still willing, you can come. Bring a few elementals (like 3) with us; it'll probaly be hard. I've started walking already, waiting up for you two and Grim!
