As a result of the civil war and the Lichtes' high breeding rate, there are 10 million "highly trained" soldiers and a massive assortment of land and sea vehicles. However, there are no transports to carry them, so there is no invasion threat.

 

The queen has decreed:

 

The Lichtes people wish to expand to other Aquatic and Earth-like systems. For a gold payment, technology, and help transporting our soldiers, we will invade a nation and strike them down with 5 million soldiers. You may think, we have more than 5 million soldiers, what do we need them for? The Lichtes reproduce quickly, so even if half of our soldiers perish in the invasion, we'll be back to 5 million in a couple years!

 

To other nations, we only wish to expand! Help us, and you will be well rewarded. If other nations hire some of our mercenary forces against you, fear... yet do not fear! We are doing our task, and we will never stop, but we can be reasoned with... perhaps technology and gold shall do the trick...

Hi, I would like to make an alien race in a heavily aquatic planet.

 

The Lichtes have been locked in a Civil War for generations. Despite overwhelming victories by the WDL (Welles des Licht), the war continued to drag on because of the species' high birth rate, long life, and lack of war weariness (will be explained below).

 

In the species, females are incredibly gifted with abilities mainly associated with brain power. They can understand concepts quickly and can remember plans in their heads with stunning accuracy. This makes this race adept for spying, mathematics, and famed for scouting.

 

The males are pretty much polar opposites. They understand simple instructions rather easily (advance, retreat, march, etc), but lack the technical knowhow to operate space ships or other mechanized weaponary. Males are extremely resilient, and in times of stress, they can reproduce asexually (when infected by a virus, or shot). These new spawn are small, and can survive on their own. They are equipped with a natural guiding system to bring them back to members of their own species. They listen to the queen.

 

The Lichtes are highly prone to politics, it being the most respected profession. The other factions opposing the WDL were themselves tricked by WDL diplomats to join the WDL, and since they were defeated politically, they acquiesced to WDL rule.

 

The WDL (the faction which controls the entire surface of the planet) is ruled by a queen with absolute power.

 

Technologies include:

- Experimental Warp Drives (primitive version of the ones humans have

- Deep Chemical Drilling (enables the drilling past the oceanic crust in order to extract precious chemicals)

- Cloning (for cloning the queen when she gets weaker, thus being ruled by the same queen for generations)

- Mathematical Understanding of the 4th Dimension (enables 25% stronger ships, despite their ships being puny)

- Self Deploying Mortars

- Deep-Sea submersibles

The Lichtes are highly adept on fighting both land and sea battles, being embroiled in civil war for generations. However, they have just recently begun to look at the stars, so they are weak in that. They eat a primary diet of kelp, fish, and are highly adverse to wheat based products.

 

The Lichtes can be mercenaries, as long as sums of gold are paid, and transport ships are sent to pick them up.
