  1. I just watched the 1st season. Contemplated watching the others until I heard about the show getting cancelled like this. Heh, why abruptly stop later when I can abruptly stop now. Most of the primary characters seem dead, getting what they deserved/wanted/were fated to get.

  2. Introduce him to everyone you can while he's still young. Let him meet lots, and I mean lots of other dogs and people so that he's used to it. Not doing that was part of the mistake we made with our first dog, and we payed dearly. Do it.

Yeah, I know what it's like, we have this antisocial neurotic dog breed from the seed of her brother.

Oh yeah, she's a Schnauzer too. Loud as hell when she sees things worth barking at.

  3. Yeah, Robin Hood looks like a Kingdom of Heaven/Gladiator rehash, wouldn't mind seeing an alternate/director's cut of the film though. Ridley Scott films are like that.

    A.I Artifical Intelligence.

The ending was strange, but it made a change as to what I usually watch.

    Oh? What's wrong with sci-fi? :(

  4. I hope it defies the rule of "if the first sequel is good then the second will probably suck". I mean, take a look at The Godfather, The Matrix, and the Spiderman Trilogy.

  5. Anybody into Vangelis?

I've heard of him, and I plan on buying a record or two of his reasonably soon. Some friendly guy in the record store recommended that I listen to his work.

Do it ! May sound very more "orchestral", which it is, but with all those synthesizers, and he does add normal music, it sounds like something completely different.

Great to know I'm not the only one here :D. I grew up with some of his songs from his 1492 soundtrack.

  6. Who said anything about Japan?

Asia is a pretty big continent..

Because nobody gives a [cabbage] about China or anywhere else.

Because 20% of the world population with massive economic growth doesn't matter? Nice logic

Yeah, most people ignore them. The Japanese are more famous.

    For what?

    Building our [cabbage].

I usually see the MADE IN CHINA mark on cra... "cabbagy" items bought here.

  7. When some local loser choses not to make the distinction in his writing from whether he means to point out the reader's state of being or the reader's ownership of that state of being. Seriously, "Your" and "you're" are two different terms.

    - This country has 3 official languages. The language you are using is not one of those 3. You're obviously not a tourist so GTFO back to your country of origin.

Hmph, the states are all about being able to do that sort of thing (flaunt your culture) though.

  8. I saw iron man 2

Iron Man 2: In Theatres May 7th

    Lolwut?

Huh? It was released in New Zealand on ~28 April. So it should've been released ages ago for you guys.

29 April for us, over here.

Just came out today for me.

  9. One who understands respect.

Don't need to be serious, intelligent, nice, whatever. Just respect and understanding what it really is.

I dunno, it seems like more than that.

For instance, a mature person is more likely to have strict morals, perhaps understand how to manipulate things to their gain, etc.

Nick_6464 said that the person doesn't need to be nice.

  10. I really find the over reaction in this thread unbelieveable. It's not as if they're giving some super weapon. Its a banner which is effectively meaningless unless you went to the event.

Whether the reaction is rational or not, it is entirely predictable. People don't like feeling left out, and there are years of history to show how people respond to missing out on limited-time or "had to have been there" items.

What is unbelievable to me is that Jagex would do something like this and not know the response it would elicit. But then, that does seem to be a pattern of late.

It's also amazing that a company this large, with this much money, can turn an event like this into such a PR disaster. And in so many different ways! Truly a spectacle to behold.

Cut them some slack, this is the first official rs event. There are bound to be some mistakes.
