i've made many defence pures. you can get str pots and attk pots, but they arent needed. go to seagulls by karamja boat, they are the best npcs to train on for defence pures even though they dont have alot of hp because there are multiple ones. now for the weapons. for f2p, you can use iron dag or iron scimitar. dagger is known to be best f2p. if p2p, red topaz machete is the best bet. thanks for postin

i think they can change the stats on the new items, they just recently came out so they will soon notice that people are complaining ingame and change it. hopefully. thats what a good staff would do but jagex, maybe not.
