Assuming optimal exp rates or near optimal experience rates, Suomi is about 10,000 hours from completely maxing out, and has 3000 hours on the second closest.
-
I have a problem with it as well.
YOU HAVE NOT POSTED A SINGLE THING ON TOPIC IN THIS ENTIRE THREAD.
-
Clicking on trees and obstacles must take so much effort.
Dungeoneering is the only skill that requires skill. You can read a guide for every other skill and learn how to optimize exp gains within a few hours, but in dungeoneering there will always be a new situation which requires logic and actual skill.

Sol and Whips are 1/512

Dat Sig. Gl on your goals

lol @ the person who said fletching maxes at 200k/hour.
If you don't know [cabbage] about this game, don't try to put down people who do.
Also, mmorpgs are not on the same level as console games. They are built to attract different crowds. 100 hours could be compared to 10 on a console simply due to the monthly fees of most mmorpgs.

if one were to play 12 hours a day (which is highly unlikely), they would have to play for 2 years straight before they would actually finish their goal.
While that may be very possible - I find it hard to maintain interest if I play for a handful of hours consecutively.
Some of the contenders have been playing 15+ hours a day for years now.
That is INCREDIBLY sad. We probably shouldn't be egging them on because to play 15 hours or more for 2 years is just terrible! I'd put them in rehab if I knew them IRL.. the probably don't even know anyone IRL if they play that much, ddaang. Maybe Jagex should do them all a favour and ban their accounts!
We've had enough of these kinds of posts in this thread. It's about 200m all skills, not the life of those that are potentially candidates for 200m all skills.

There are a few people actually pretty close,
but they've still got a long way to go.
I know one of them has a thread that he updates frequently.
Pretty ridiculous if you ask me.
What the hell do you mean pretty close?
If you actually mean not even half way there - then I guess you're right. There are a lot of people who are pretty close.
Who is this "person" that updates a thread quite frequently and why would that be pretty ridiculous?
id say suomi and aasiwat are both around halfway
The "hours left" of the top players were applied via max exp rates a couple pages back, with suomi having about 10k hours left to go.

frost dragons - 200 bones/h = 126k xp (thats 8 minutes of using on altar so maybe more like 110k/h)
effigy per 400 kills = .5 effigy per hour
good game
An effigy every 400 kills ? No way.
I have killed 20k+ and only got 27 effigies, i don't know on what u are basing this estimate >.<
More like 1 in 600.
-
Safespot cannon ranging can be more kills per hour than melee if done correctly
-
So using 1000 wines at once easily lasts 200m exp. I know what I'm doing for exp, thanks.
-
Hmm...any teenager with a part time job could bot, get banned, and spend less time working than actually training. Lmao
-
What do you guys think is the easiest 200m skill to get?
Imo fletching..
I would have to say WC with Ivy. You can basically stay at the same spot forever and only have to click once every 2-3 minutes + randoms...
I'd reckon cooking would be, because there is a consistent amount of time inbetween banking and it doesn't cost any money.

by the time a single person gets that he/she would be blind, morbidly obese, 80 years old and lonely. And honestly, what is the point of maxing out a skill...let alone maxing out all skills?
To quote Inception, you would be "an old man filled with regret, waiting to die alone".
Why blind, why morbidly obese, and why 80? And tbh the most hardcore WoW player I know is happily married to another hardcore WoWer.
getting to 99 in all skills in runescape takes alot more than just hardcore playing. its spending a life time on runescape
Getting all 99s can be done in 2 years with about 2 hours a day...
-
Not only does rapier only cost around 80k/hour, It is worthwile in absolutely every case. Even soul wars, better exp etc.
-
Not to ignore the extra magic attack bonus from celestial either.
-
why spear? isnt rapier always better for the relevant scenarios
With berserker, rapier is always better for stabbing and slashing than spear. Having a spear in addition to any melee weapon sounds really stupid as the whole point of it is to be a good overall weapon without berserker. Pure melee dps would actually be rapier/hood/neck/(brace/boots/gloves).
I mean it's been shown that rapier inaccuracy makes it worse than 2h lol
Even with the addition of bloodneck + Gold precision [Flameburst]?
-
I have a hexhunter, so I'll be getting a sagi body for sure. I've been considering a blood necklace in place because it benefits both melee and range and defense doesn't matter much to me (even when I key, there tends to be armor at the start because everyone else has a plate)
Hex benefits so much from a range body it's ridiculous, so I wouldn't consider anything but the two. Had I not gotten a hex, I would have bound a celestial catalyctic (ofc I'd get 99 mage)
-
Just hit 300m Agil Xp myself! :D
Although it's offtopic considering that you're not competing for all 200ms, A big congrats from me. Unfortunately if you haven't already noticed I can't play rs atm. Gl on 400m now, we all know you'll get it
-
I think people are overestimating the importance of mage prayer. The reasoning for praying mage is to prevent binds, and if there are no forgotten mages in the room generally a sagi body + range prayer fares better, considering that mages first use the hood deactivation spell, their debuffs and summons (All of which are negated once leaving the room) and rangers on the other hand will be constantly attacking every 1.8 seconds.
-
It isn't useful if you can only use one piece of it.
Many people with 120 dungeoneering bind primal 2h, plate and legs. (Please don't use the 'but most players...' card) Im pretty sure that's more than 1. Low level skillers bind primal pick and hatchet, so those items are being used, not just as much as the most popular ones. And I've seen primal maul being used by pures who have low attack level.
Not all of them are useful though, but I don't really see it as a problem.
Somewhat offtopic, but I find the armor combination of plate+ legs rather questionable...not only does plate + legs give insignificant bonuses over plate (due to diminishing returns) but it has next to noe use for non keyers. Since nearly everyone has a hood, 50% of the time you're not even under attack. I personally have a hexhunter bound and do fine keying with no armor as well.

Not sure yet about my next 200M, it's either going to be runecrafting, slayer or dungeoneering. I kinda hate talking about my plans because I take one day at a time and anything can happen.
Low_C, it's really nice spot for hellhounds, gotta give credit to Zarfot for that. :P I hope he will be back <3
And Oscar feel free to pm me if you were serious ;) There is two spaces before and after O btw
Runecrafting? What about effigies for you?
-
ugh the "math skills" being talked about is just simple arithmetic you learn in Jr high. you can't go to harvard with that.
Vouch this, if you can't handle the sight of simple caculations, why are you in a discussion thread like this?
Also Xensure, would it be possible for your spreadsheet to incorporate the rates if one were to use effigies on slayer? I'm not too familar with google spreadsheets
Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
