  1. I'm really really not sure, I would love to see both things re-introduced, but I can just see too many negative effects, RWT and such. But JaGex say that they are better equipped to combat bots and other nasties, and I think, if they really can, then I think it would be a great idea!
  2. Wow I've got the Ring of Wealth all backwards :P Thanks for the reply and the help.

I'm pretty confident I understand how the Ring of Wealth works. It increases the chance of a drop of a non-rare item, such as runes or arrows, but not items like a Dragon Chain from Dust Devils or a Visage from high leveled Dragons. So, if the chance of a non-rare drop increases, doesn't that mean the chance of a RARE drop decreases? Is this true? Thanks in advance for any help
  4. First like to say, really support the idea of tax on the GE. Have been involved in quite a few discussions on the RSOF about. But one thing that was pointed out to me quite early on is, introducing this tax probably wouldn't stop trade of a lot more commonly traded items. But smaller items, that aren't traded as much, may be seriously affected, to the point where maybe it is just impossible to buy. On the other hand, these items becoming impossible to buy on the GE, might encourage people to buy more from shops, removing GP from the game. Okay, I know this isn't exactly related because it isn't a money sink. But I think, as well as trying to create money sinks, why not try and remove or diminish the effects of the things that bring in money to the game. For instance, reducing the amount of money earned from PVP Statuettes, as these are what I think are bringing in most of the cash at the moment. Coupling more money sinks with reduced input could seriously combat the problem.
  5. Thanks everyone that offered. Done now! Thanks again!

  8. "That was quite an awe inspiring post." IIBowsII (14th post) I really couldn't say it any better than that. As for the reason I play, I think it is probably because Runescape formed such a great part of my childhood, and so therefore there are so many memories embedded within the game. It does bring a tear to my eye when I remember all those happy times And like so many above me have stated, amazingly written, and so I tip my hat to you.
  9. Haha great post, I needed a laugh Id have to say I'm between a Vertical-liner and a Depressed Sociopath,
