You can get a campus card which cheapens travel within Belgium considerably. I'm not wholly sure about the prices for travel out of Belgium but you can check out the Belgian railways site, it's got an english version : http://www.b-rail.be/main/E/

Yeah, I like Leuven alot. I study Law there. Leuven is a small city but it's filled with students, and you have alot of students bars. Beer is really cheap there and they haved themed nights like a Duvel for a euro. Also there are student restaurants which offer decent food at a low price. But most of the "normal" restaurants have student discounts anyway. The foreign exchange students have a support program, there's alot of them too so normally you'll make friends pretty easily. There's also a new museum which I hear is nice (opened this year). Some good CD stores too. You can also find live shows pretty regularly. Honestly, as far as I'm concerned, Leuven has everything a student could need.

I study in Leuven! About the books, there is a specialised student's book store that normally has everything. At the least, they should able to help you alot further if they don't have them in stock already.

Indeed, and like Andy said people should stop booing Contador. Was a bit surprised Andy didn't try anything today though. Feel a bit sorry for Barredo, but he just went too early .

I'm inclined to believe Contador's explanation. I'll admit that I'm probably biased as a fan, but in the footage you can see him making the jump just before Andy broke down.And he was looking back alot but if that was because he feared Andy's return or because he didn't know what was going on precisely or even because he actually wanted to wait we don't know. Blargh.

Yesterday he gave the expression he was just saving energy, smiling to the camera when he had to let go of the rest. But I have the impression he just couldn't cut it today. Pretty awful way to lose the yellow jersey for Andy Schleck, I feel bad for him. Pretty normal that he's mad too. But Andy didn't wait for Contador on the cobblestones (nor Armstrong for that matter). And if Contador would have waited, Menchov and Sanchez would've attacked. RIP Fabio Casartelli.
