  1. Right, I have heard from some fairly reliable sources that if you get your favour up to 100% before checking your kingdom and have enough money into it then it collects as if you had, had favour at 100% the whole time. I don't know if this is true and I am dubious of it myself but might be something you want to check out, or someone else might definitively know the answer.

  2. Depending on your income you should be casting shadow barrage you can on a reasonable one and ice burst if your not too well off. I'm not sure if boosting using extreme magics and then ice barraging at your level is at all effective.

Wear full Ahrims/Virtus for casting and prossy when luring. If you haven't been before bring a ROL as it is possible to die here if you mess up a lure or don't safespot the lobs effectively when on low hp. If you don't have soul split then bring runes for blood spells - I'm not sure if ee/eee will cover your healing I haven't tried these here myself.

Depending on what you cast the mage experience will be at least 100k+ and could be close to 200k - 250k/hr. Charms wise using burst you will get around 150-160 charms an hour and with barrage expect 220-230 an hour.

If we take most extreme potions at 20gp/xp and the other options (sara brew) at 15gp/xp.

For 80 - 91 we need roughly 4 million xp. So doing extreme potions would cost 80m and using the other option would cost 60m a poultry saving of 20m for a drop in exp/hour rates of about 80 - 120k an hour so will take 100k as our number. So with saradomin brews at 350kexp/hr and extremes at 450kexp/hr the 4 million experience with sara brews will take you 11.4 hours and with extreme potions it will take you 8.8 hours a saving of 2.6 hours now if we value our time at a paltry 2m/hr the time saved using extremes earns us 5.2 mil. Fair game extremes are still more expensive at a total cost greater cost of 14.8mil. Then again if we value our time at an achievable 5m/hr the saving from sara brews is much less at only 7m. Now take into account the fact that the use of these extreme potions on all your slayer tasks will greatly increase your DPS and gp/hr on all your slayer tasks. Not only earning you quicker money but also allowing you to max melee's earlier and move onto much higher income options. Also, taking into account that you are unlikely to have to make many more extreme potions that you 100% should be using on all your slayer tasks it will save the money spent on those in the future. If we say as a hugely conservative estimate that a account which has flat 90's melee's and is slaying to maxed uses 500 of each type of extreme potion on their slayer tasks from this point then these potions will cost them about 26m this is also herblore experience past 91 which should be used to make overloads and is therefore almost wasted. So in total using your method you make a loss of 8 - 19m depending on how much money you make an hour. In essence pure stupidity.

  4. @Guy I'm very much sure that I have seen Mountain Dew in a fair number of corner shops and even bought it a couple of times. I really don't think it's that uncommon.

  5. Right obviously there is no definitive answer to this so early on but I have heard off the two people I've spoken to who have tried it that it makes little or no difference. A ridiculously small sample size who porbably didn't use it for very long.

  6. Though it is important to remember Jeremy Clarkson's views do not respresent those of Britain as a whole.

Not on the topic of this thread, but that's good to know...

Someone else mentioned the need to watch top gear, so I think it is.

  7. 1. What are a few samples of common dinner assortments in the UK? What type of foods are most often consumed where you live?

In London you can find everything pretty much. Food from around the world even some mock American diners. It can be expensive to eat in London but there is really no restriction on what you can eat. The commonest food places are probably; Italians, Indians and Chinese's along with the occasional British gastro-pub though you will mainly find these out of London.

    2. What is the average cost of a flat/apartment?

To buy or rent? I live in a 2 room flat in central London (Kennington) the flat which is in a reasonably nice part of London but nothing special cost me £190,000 to buy and would cost around £240,000 now. In Kensington you would be paying £300,000 - £700,000 for a medium sized apartment.

    4. What are some good television shows?

Well once you are used to the British Television - I think you can access BBC iPlayer from anywhere in the world so perhaps you should start watching that. Current TV: Mock the Week, Have I got News for you!, Lead Balloon, Campus, The Inbetweeners, Luther, Lewis, Miss Marple, The Apprentice and many more. Some icons of British TV culture well worth watching: Monty Python's Flying Circus and Films, Only Fools and Horses, Fawlty Towers, Dad's Army, Not the Nine o'Clock News, Green Wing.

    5. What are the best internet options?

Living in London gives you fairly good internet options with posibility for 20MB+ connections. The most commonly used providers are BT (reliable but famous for crappy customer support) and Sky (some discrepencies in connection and where it supplies but its Phone, Internet and TV packages mean it's chosen by many.

    6. How expensive is it to travel on a daily basis?

Get an Oyster card as soon as you arrive! It is a little thing that you can add money to and swipe to get on the Tube and London Buses charging you less money and decreasing queueing. Travel is fairly cheap but not as cheap as it was under the last mayor. You'd probably pay £3 - £10 to get to and from work everyday via the Tube or Bus. If you are fancy enough to get a taxi expect to pay £20+ for most journeys.

    7. Reccomended sectors of London/surrounding areas to live?

Kensington is one of the poshest areas of London so if you've got money to throw live here. If you live further out Islington is a favourite of mine that still has reasonably priced housing around and is a generally middle class left wing area of London. Everywhere in London has nice places to live and [cabbage]-holes within walking distance of each other so pick a spot and you'll be able to find what you want there.

    8. How large are flats?

For a £200,000 flat in the centre of London it's going to be 1 - 2 reasonably sized rooms. For the same price in zone 3 - 4 you'll get another 2 - 3 rooms. Past zone 4 (basically not London) you'll get even more bang for your buck.

    9. Is there Mountain Dew in London?

    Yes

    10. Any suggestions/comments/input/advice from yourself

I will edit my post with some right now I'm late.

  8. You can probably get away with charging 10 - 20k an hour for the saradomin sword as it is still a sought after weapon out of some peoples price range. As to the whip and dragon hatchet .. 100k for 24 hours. You really shouldn't charge more than that.

  9. I've got to go with maul personally it's a really nice weapon for mucking around with and is also good at TDs which you say you are interested in. While there are many viable alternatives for TDs for a range weapon compared to the CCB and for range slaying the RCB will probably suffice. People will recommend CCB and Rigour for Nex and this is valid advice but you won't be Nexing until you are 96 summoning which may be far or close depending on how many charms you get. Anyway as you say you enjoy DG I'm sure you won't mind going back to get the crossbow and rigour.

  10. I'm personally planning on buying multiple deflectors (2+) when I get the rank next time because I did the same as you were planning got a deflector bought it then suicided for a friend - I'm now stuck at 745 rank after losing my deflector and feeling unwilling to get the rank all over again.

With TD's I'm not sure if a handcannon is better than a CCB for DPS but it is not worth using at all below 95 firemaking. In regards to Nex I imagine you could blag your way on to some RSOF teams but don't expect to be taught Nex well by them. There is also a clan called something like 'Nex Specialists' which have much lower gear and stat requirements than most specialist Nex teams needing so I'm sure you can get on to one of their teams.

  11. Do not, do not, do NOT make untradeables as your main source of exp. Make them in small amounts to avoid having a [cabbage]load of wealth invested in way more potions that you can use in any span of time.

Basically, all you people with 4k extremes sitting in your banks... You see all those millions that those extremes had cost you? Yeah, you could have just made brews and spent the leftovers after selling them on something that would let you make money faster.

In a way I agree with this in another I strongly, strongly disagree. If I were to make the extremes that I then need for overloads I will gain large amounts of xp when I need it and gain incredibly useful potions. I will need overloads in the end - large amounts of them they are hugely useful potions. If I am making overloads past level 99 herblore regularly it would seem like a waste as I am spending large amounts of money on xp that I do not need.

  12. Horn is definitely worth it for mining and agility if you are a competent BA player. As to FM I think if you were to use Yews/Mages horn charging time would be less efficient than simply training away. I'm afraid I don't know the maths exactly behind the horn however.

  13. Some silly questions about what extremes to make/how many to make and gathering resources.

Should I start boosting from level 79 to 84 and make recover specials then super antifires?

What are the potions I should be making and between which levels?

What are the frequencies of stew boosts and how many will I need?

Also something I should really know but how do Overloads work - the stat is reboosted every 15 seconds am I correct?
