  1. In the motorbike? Didn't think the wall would fit in the bike. :P Superwall takes over the world. 75 HP.
  2. The wall gets 99 construction so it can fix itself. :] 71 HP.
  3. The builders feel sorry for the wall and fix it again, free of charge. 70 HP.
  4. So expert builders came in and rebuilt it with steel beam reinforcements. 70 HP.
  5. I suppose a basic 2D map that loads the segmet you're currently on and, as you said, all the ones around it. (The screen is actually 500x400 to be honest.) Some kind of "mock-code" to work off of would be very much appreciated, as well. :)
  6. Thanks, I'll defiantly look into that. :o Anyone got any ideas on stiching the map segments together?...
  7. That helped quite a bit, thanks. :D Though I still do not see how that moves the map. Or to my other question, how to get the map 'tiles' (700x700 squares) to come together to form one big map. :S
  8. First month or so....Using this mainly to learn more. :) As for the keypressed thing, yeah I know about KeyPressed events >.< I just wanted an example of a basic "Character.WalkNorth();" Or some help on it. :) I'm also going to draw the map in sections, 700x700 pixels and am not sure on how to make them connect, etc..
  9. I was thinking that at first, but then moved to the character moving idea because of all the things that would need to move on the map...NPCs, etc... Oh well, I guess. :P So, any ideas on how to start on this then?
  10. Trying to make a kind of 2D game in java to learn the basics. Anyways, I need to make like, the window follow the character, while moving the map and everything else. Can anyone help with this? Remember, I'm just beginning in java. :\
  11. The wall uses the second wish to revive his puppy, then the third wish to make it immortal. 71 HP. (Since the above post should be 70, I assume)
  12. A genie comes out of one of the rock cakes and grants the wall three wishes. 68 HP.
  13. I give the wall a new coat of paint, 68 HP.
  14. Well, I've had video card issues in the past, and it did the exact same thing you described. It's a tricky little bugger. <_<
  15. Could be your video card isn't connected properly.
  16. Well, you could easily use something like Notepad, or Notepad++ for the coding part, then upload it to the host... I'm not really sure if ULMB has it's own editor or not, but it's a fairly decent free host otherwise. Then again, freewebs is okay, too. Never tried it myself, though I'll give it a go I guess. EDIT: Tried freewebs for a bit....Didn't really like it... I didn't really see any advertisement with it, and the short .webs.com was fairly nice. Though it seems kind of basic. I still suggest ULMB. It has some advertising, in the form of a pop-up on occasion (I never got any pop-ups from it, myself...), and it also has a fairly short url. sitename.ulmb.com if I remember correctly. It holds a fairly nice amount of stuff, and you can even add email addresses for sites you've created.
  17. The wall burned them and gained a firemaking level. 68 HP.
