my friend showed me how to make internet explorer a higher priority on task manager and it fixed my problem

I'm not totally on the specifics but the router is linksys in my basement and i plug my ethernet cable into a netgear adapter which plugs into the wall, i think it runs by copper wire to my room ( on the top floor) Would getting my own router for my room solve my problem?

Well most of the time my computer is perfect for rs....but every 30 to 45 seconds or so everything on rs freezes for 2-4 seconds and when it stops, it kind of fast forwards the parts i missed if u could understand that...which makes pking very frusterating... I got a Emachines T5022 pc with pentium 4 processor -2.93 GHz -533 MHz FSB -1 MB L2 Cache 160GB 7200 RPM SATA HD 1024 MB DDR Dual Channel memory I also have a tv program that takes up a pci slot that makes it so i can watch cable on my computer. Can i remove my current (listed below) "stock" graphics card and upgrade without losing anything of importance which is located on the "stock" graphics card. Video: Intel graphics media accelerator 900 - is this the problem? Would purchasing a new graphics card correct my problem? If so what card do you recommend? If not, what do you think is the problem? I think the windows update page is having troubles because after it starts searching for updates i get a "The website has encountered a problem and cannot display.." message...il wait a few days and try again. I'm worried about my running process IEXPLORE.E3E, it's replacing my explorer.e3e as my internet...i bolded it in my previous hjt log im workin on the housecall and removed the 015

how do i run windows updates lol? ok, here are some updates, the panda activescan thing freezes for me about half way through, i've tried it a few times, it seems to freeze in the same place. here is the lsp summary requested by sharper here is an updated hjt log -i bolded running processes that caught my untrained eye

the a8o1v file dosent show up on hjt only on the running processes list which only appears in the log

i am still having trouble finding the kbimim file still workin on other things

How much would I save building my own? I'm not looking for anything amazing but I'd like no lag with camtasia on, or multiple programs.

i have this exact problem...my main router is in my basement but it's on my dads laptop in the room next door...i told him to put it on this computer but no one listens to me...having the main router on a laptop is rediculous but my friends tell me that a pci adapter card worked really well for them to correct those problems

for me it's my wireless internet, my computer is not directly attatched to router and i have a cheap adapter which i need to upgrade

i have about 3 gigs in music and games and my hd is only 19gigs total but i still think there should be a lot more free space, i know i need to update hd but im getting a new comp soon, this will become my little sisters comp and i need to clean it up

Here is my autoexec.bat file or whatever it's called. I know I had my computer fixed up before and this might be what this was from (1 or 2 years ago). Will deleting my other os free up space on my computer? i dont even have 2gigs of free space on my computer right now, thanks

Well whenever i boot up there are 2 options i can choose, they are identical in text but i know one does not work, can i get rid of this second os? Will this free up space?
