  1. I don't think any of them will ever hit 5b xp.

Why? RuneCrafting + Slayer. I doubt anyone will be able to tackle all skills and then do those two without quitting. Getting Slayer, sure, get RuneCrafting, sure, but getting them BOTH on top of everything else? Ohhhh no.

Yeah not like you can get like 130m rc xp during the time you slay

  2. Hide tags make for much easier reading. Another thing you might want to try is bold and italics. Different spacing might help too. Ex:

    [hide=Your formatting]

    Equipment:

Weapon: Cls>Rapier IF you do not have max or completionist cape and you are picking up greens/crims and blue charms as well as snap/torstol herbs and seeds as this requires a certain amount of running around and less time attacking the boost from the Cls helps more.(Mind you still Cls is barely beating rapier by like 2k xp/h) If not picking up those drops and constantly using rapier besides the running around to get to another Sprectre its about even with the Cls. As well as if you have comp/max cape its about even. Really the difference isn't big enough to where most people would even care to change gear.

If you dont have Cls or Rapier then Chaotic Maul or Abyssal Whip works.

    Shield: Dragon Defender>Rune Defender

Special Weapon in inventory: Dragon Claws>Dds>

Helm: Slayer Helm(charged with best combat familiars attack scrolls)

Amulet: Fury>Glory(Salve Amulet boost does not stack with slayer helm)

    Chest: Bandos Chestplate>Proselyte Hauberk

    Legs: Bandos Tassets>Proselyte Cuisse/Tassets

Cape: Completionist Cape>Max Cape>Fire Cape> Soul Wars Cape

Gloves: Barrows>..etc wear the best you can.

    Boots: Dragon

    Ring: Berserker/Warrior

Familiar: Best combat familiar summoned. Steel titan>Iron Titan>Wolpertinger>Geyser Titan..etc

    [/hide]

    [hide=My formatting]

    *Equipment:

Weapon: Chaotic rapier > CLS | rapier will kill them fastest, unless you miss many attack turns due to picking up many drops

Shield: Dragon Defender > Rune Defender |

Special Weapon: Dragon Claws > Dds | may not be worth the clicking

Helmet: Full Slayer Helm | charged with the scrolls for your familiar if using iron/steel titan

Amulet: Fury > Glory | Salve amulet boost does not stack with slayer helm

Chest: Bandos Chestplate > Fighter Torso > Proselyte Hauberk |

    Legs: Bandos Tassets > Proselyte Cuisse/Tassets |

Cape: Completionist Cape > Max Cape > Fire Cape > Soul Wars Cape |

Gloves: RFD gloves > Bracelet of Regeneration | barrows, dragon and rune RFD gloves are superior to the bracelet

    Boots: Dragon |

    Ring: Berserker > Warrior |

Familiar: Steel titan > Iron Titan > Wolpertinger > Geyser Titan |

Guides aren't only to gather information, but also to make it accessable ;).

Ahh yeah will do that later, work time (:

  3. I feel as if this guide has some good information within it but the text is purely padding for the videos. As said before try and organise it a bit more neatly with an index and easy navigation as well as placing tasks in hide tags. Add pictures as a wall of text is very off putting. This could be a very good guide but it needs some work and some thinking about.

The text is pretty much all padding for the videos but in my experience with most elaborate guides if you just put a video there and not do that with the text alot of people seem to get mad so I spent the time to write it out. Got the hide tags in there now though looks much better.

  4. You badly need better formatting. Also you only need 1 overload for abberant spectres. Wolpertinger > geyser titan as combat familars go. I'm also pretty sure you don't need a pickaxe for bloodvelds. Also I doubt ags is worth using, as it hits perhaps 900 at a rapier max of over 600. Which means the rapier, with its 50% more attacks, will have higher raw dps. I don't think the small accuracy boost from a godsword is even worth using.

Everything in hide tags/monster guides in alphabetical order sound good? (: Ah ya thanks, lotta text to keep up with I miss stuff even on double checking. Added the wolp. Pickaxe for velds is to go through the abyss=faster. Was thinkin bout the ags/rapier dps thing couldnt figure it out But I doubt its worth the effort of figuring out lol was a 4 am bad decision to put it in =p Am going to take out now.

  5. A personal note, I'd put each task in a hide tag to avoid cluttering, a nice headline title and an explanation behind the guide, who its aimed for etc, because no point saying Slayer Guides to ALL tasks if it doesn't cover the lower tasks and says "Bring Overloads to Crawlers" since not everyone has access to Ovl. Otherwise I can see the good potential behind this guide.

    [hide=Slayer Creatures Name] Text/Videos etc [/hide]

Thanks for the hide tags idea! Will start on that right now and yeah changed the title to most tasks im also going to make them all alphabetical order and also add Overloads>Extremes Set>Super set to the text because I say that in the guide itself.

  6. This is a work in progress I am adding guides as I make them.

I will put the blocked/cancel list at the top when I make it with annotations to all my individual monster guides.

Any other miscellaneous slayer info will be posted above the monster guides as well when they are made such as information about imbued rings if they are worth it..etc

  7. A guide to show you guys the most efficient ways to get the best Firemaking xp/h possible. This is a complete guide to the best method of training the Firemaking skill effectively. The video makes everything you'll need and everything you'll be doing on your way to whatever level you want abundantly clear.

This method can be done with any logs.

    Requirements:

    1. Tinderbox

    2. Logs

    3. Level 46 summoning/Pyrelord familiar

    4. A POH

    5. At least 40 construction for a regular butler.

    6. Cash stack.

    7. Some house teleport tabs depending on what method you choose to do.

  8. Max xp rates show least amount of time left possible and isnt biased to anyone, leaves it up to the players own decision how hard they want to actually do the skill but max xp rates give us a factual base for whos closer leaving out the "what if they work harder" aspect if they tried using an "average" experience rate

  9. Bout time someone tested barraging crawlers been waiting for those results forever however I believe from some preliminary calcs that were done awhile back between me and some others melee them should be faster still or at least very close to same speed 1 thing that could be faster by a significant amount then meleeing though is chinning them while cannoning but again, need someone to test it.

Chris, I like you alot, and I am not trying to sound like a [bleep] here, but I think this needs to be said.

Every time someone on this thread seems to post about a new idea regarding efficiency, you seem to try and take credit (usually in part) for having the idea yourself. I do not know if this is your intention, but the way you word things often makes it seem that way. I would suggest you try to avoid this. You are no doubt knowledgeable regarding efficiency, but that does not mean you have to discredit others. Regardless of whether or not you did the calcs on the idea, you were not the one who tested/proved it. In real life, an idea is not worth anything compared to the proven concept. I don't know if you remember Zarfot saying all the time that most of the ways he trained he did not come up with, but seeing how in many ways your youtube channel has replaced his for efficiency videos, you may do well to try and emulate him in that regard. A little humility goes a long way.

I apologize if I offend you by posting this, but I hope you heed the advice. My Dad once gave me some really good advice, which I think you may benefit from. He said "never let the fruits of success bring about the illusion of wisdom". Everyone has something to learn, and everyone has new ideas to contribute. Admitting you hadn't heard of a certain method before is never a bad thing.

    1. Not offended at all (: Youve been a friend for quite awhile and said it in a non trolling way.

    2. Would have rather u pm'ed me lol.

    3. Rs forum -> Time for 5b xp pretty sure some posts on there of discussion of talking about barraging/chinning crawlers awhile back with thai but neither of us could afford it so we were looking for someone to test. Never said the chinning was my idea up there ^ believe it was thais if I remember correctly. Also last discussion about a new efficient method was fm ing with pyrelord didnt take credit for that either so id like to at least see a bit of evidence with your post if your really going to say that..

Also my post was a set up to see who says something about them knowing elvis or talking to him about the method so I could ask them to get the kill p/h results as well to incorperate it eventually into a thread me and a friend are working on making.

Lastly nowhere did I take credit in my post about barraging crawlers point of that sentence is according to the guestimates I had before, meleeing should> barraging or be very closed so again, want to get elvis'es results on barraging.

  11. That being a time chart for the fastest way I have an idea we could compile a list of the more realistic training methods ex actually doing slayer instead of crawlers..etc and see everybodys time charts if they were to do the more regular things instead of crawlers that could give a more accurate representation of where people really are since it seems 1 or 2 of the top 15 are actually crawlering and we dont even know if Elias is going to keep doing that for everything

  12. If some bad punctuation is seriously "hard" or "painful" to read and your brain really cant decipher it you have bigger problems and are not as smart as you think you are.

    Suomis interview definitely was great.

Any guesses on next top 15 member to become inactive?

  13. Simon should go for 200m prayer rather than stop at 100m (which someone said he might do). If he does he'd set the monthly prayer record at like 199.3m which is not only amazing (basically maxing a skill a month), but also means that someone would have to create a new account to specifically break that record. Another possibility is another skiller like simon (low combat, even level 3) decides to train combat. Either way if he does go for 200m I think that record will be a hard one to beat.

I told simon i was going to do that like 6 months ago lol in irc actually I said it den someone was like lol simon can beat your record cause i was like 100k xp ahead of him at that time so he could beat it, hope he gets it now as i decided to just cba with it and get 95 for SS so at least my idea shall live on through him

  14. zarfot did not burn out, i think if runescape were still make him fun, he can again be so efficient.... he just loss the fun for rs

Interesting post by Zarfot a few days after he put up that vid about quitting

I'm not sure why people feel like writing long posts on this thread when they don't really know what they're talking about.

I have always enjoyed playing RuneScape although Jagex has made many mistakes. Rather, the most important reason for my stopping playing, by far, is that I wanted to spend more time on other things. Not that I wasn't doing other things already- my long term average playing time was just over six hours a day, not the 10+ many people seem to think- and remember that includes weekends, breaks, summers, as well as time spent playing without paying much attention while doing something else, like homework. But I quit because I wanted to spend more time on things I'm interested in, like learning computer programming, rather than just playing a game than in the end doesn't matter. And no, I don't want to be a games programmer- there's so much more you can do with computers than that.

It saddens me that people like Drumgun would pass off my leaving as "not being able to keep up playing efficiently" or similar rather than realize that RuneScape is a computer game.

Anyway, I think that everyone should really take a step back and consider if there is something else that you could be spending more time on rather than playing RuneScape. There's a lot more to life than computer games. Even if you only play for a short time each day the same applies- what else could you be doing?

Thanks for finding that for meh was just about to try and google tip it forums zarfot posts to find it when I read makevelis post lol good thing I kept reading down the page before I went looking for hours

  15. Tg wrote this on the swedish forum: "Trying to get rid of my extreme RS dependent I've had for years. It is not easy but your life gets pretty crazy when you are playing 7h + per day. I wish I never started with runescape tbh."

I wish him the best, been there, tried come back everytime. The way rs does it is you put so much effort into this theres nothing on the outside to do or people to be with so no real choice but to play rs again better then sitting staring at the TV bored then right back into the same loop I truly wish him the best

  16. Except for the fact when saying if Suomi and elias keep Doing what they are doing...etc and trying to random throw tezz in the picture or zez when we know as a fact in the long run they are thousands of hours behind so again in the long run people would run out of buyables.. And obviously if everyone in front of em quits ..etc those are all what Ifs yeah we use hypotheticals but I don't remember any tezz or zez posts mentioning if suomi,Elias ..etc quit they could reclaim ....was just posts bout ph he has a shot..etc when in fact we know thousands of hours difference so the time calc limits the hypotheticals to actual possibilitys but if someone wants to start a topic on first to 200m all if ... Quits I'd be happy to participate there as well..

No hostility meant at brood or anyone either btw, hope you can see my point
