  1. AND GREENS IS BACK FROM A LIFE OF NO NET.

    WHAT'S UP [bleep]ES?

You go to Africa or China or something?

I wonder what he brought back.

A foreign STD to share with us I hope.

Or malaria, or dysentery, or maybe lion cubs.

    Let's work on a list.

I was on vacation with the family. We visited Cancun, Mexico and other places in the Caribbean.

  2. Reading another astrology book. It is unfortunate my other pair of ear phones died again because I cannot listne to music and Avatar (blue aliens) is being watched in the living room. No way to tune out noise and I will be reminded why I disliked humanity.

Fun fact: I've only seen the movie once, and it was back in 2009, if that implies my disliking of the film.

Yeah, I dislike it as well. I've tried watching it again, but I couldn't sit through 2 1/2 hours of bland characters.

  3. So if I want to watch this, ATLA must come first? Brb 99rc over summer.

No, LoK is a spinoff series. So far it hasn't included any ATLA references aside from this episode's flashback.

Hasn't included? It has used a ton of references to the past series from its gags to specifics. I think you missed a spot check.

Alg, the darkest I can think of were the finales, but that has nothing on fighting chi-blockers in the dark, and worse how their eyes were lit up.

Oh, won't be on tomorrow because I am seeing Pirates! Band of Misfits. David Tennant is voicing one of the characters.

Well no major references that add to the plot. Ambler can watch LoK without having seen ATLA and not miss a lot imo.

  4. That last scene had such a rapey tone to it.

The dark room, full of masked men, and the main antagonist's way of holding Korra and giving that speech to psychologically wreck her? To be honest, it disturbs me they can still continue making him more and more terrifying when he already is kicking Ozai's ass in nightmare fueling.

I can imagine disturbed mothers calling in and saying how inappropriate this episode was. Compared to ATLA's lighthearted feel, LoK has much more mature topics and it's far more political.
