Looking at rune tracker Elias deserves to be talked about alot more. Hes got a very nice balance through all the skills.

Wow really, I mean it's not like he doesn't already mention every time he posts how he doesn't have money or needs more for this or that. As a contender I'm sure he knows what money making options are out there, hes perfectly capable of earning it just like everyone else. Here's what a 100M donation will get you, 10 seconds of his time and he will be on his way, cheers! I don't see what you're trying to do. Are you, like, trying to convince people not to donate to Suomi? What purpose does that serve? Of course I dont support people asking for donations...it totally compromises the validity of the highscores. I also wanted to point out what donating will actually get you, to be blunt most people donate in hopes to become friends of a 'famous player' and if you watch that video I think it will be increasingly evident what that actually buys you. He couldn't have hit accept any faster, I mean there wasn't even any money offered yet and he was accepting, and teleports 5 seconds later after receiving a considerable donation. Just opening the eyes of people who are considering donating to not expect anything more. Interesting, i made a small donation and anytime i ask a question he responds.

Anyone know if there is a particular advantage to doing hunter right now? also Allar is back to playing.

The ROW doesn't have any impact on effigies. I know you havnt gotten an effigy in quite a bit of exp but remember the math your looking at to determine how often you get effigies is just an average. I killed over 4k abyssal demons recently and only received 1 effigy but not long after that i got 2 in less than 200 kills.

I tend to agree with makaveli, im a combat nub and no matter how hard i try to be a "skiller" i just cant make myself do it. Gets boring too fast for me.

Flipping is a "required function" of the G.E.? Come on get a better argument than that. The rest of your statement makes more sense but i disagree that is "fair" Just my opinion ;-) Grats on 2bil exp Paperbag!! Definately take care of the IRL issues, and gl with that man.

Merchanting got better for items like ely/div/rares, but much worse for everything else. It took a week but the margins on the regular items before the update are now *very* small to the point that merching is slower cash/hr than other sources. So it is a huge hit for people without buyables done, but not so much if they weren't merching before. Trust me, that sucks just as much for me lol. That means I can no longer get good money if I ever decided to merch. 600+ tds kills so far, no effigies or claws or anything yet, frost bones went from 14k to 22k ea, meaning I now need over 6b for 200m prayer (something negative always happens for the skill that I'm training to 200m). Oh, and, unlike other top players, no donations for me AT ALL. No luck ftw? And don't even suggest staking, with my luck I'll lose a 500m stake against a lvl 80 with 99 str or something lol. In other words, no choice but to give up on 200m prayer, and I've gone back to 7 hours of sleep since I'm fed up of waiting on that guinness record to be placed. Hooray. :( wait until the ashes update before you give up drumgun. i think this is one update you will benefit from, dont give up ;-)

thanks for the updates langer! Anyone get any nice drops from the rev dung? I cant buy/sell anything on the g.e. :( Of course i've never merched (dont have the time to learn how unfortunately). Seems like the free trade/wildy update has indeed brought back alot of old players. I wonder how long this wave will last. Anyone know if Suomi or drum are gonna merch now that its a bit quicker?

Drop rates are simply the chance of getting the drop each time you kill the monster in question. The large sample sizes obtained by ppl such as lagota gives you a pretty good idea but its not something you can count on in small samples. Effigies are drops and there will be dry spells and times when they seem to drop "alot." The ppl here are merely using the drop rates to figure how many someone "should" get normally.

We need a top 15 update badly ;-)
