My favourite game was "trouble" yeah .. how high tech was that game ;) a dice in a bubble dome and also a giant snakes and ladders mat a few metres wide.

Wow, this makes me feel a bit old ^_^Was born in 1984.. almost 24 years ago.
Am I the only weird one here who remembers Pogs? I used to collect them when I was a kid.
Yeah I remember pogs, collected them to, and played alot, I was the best with my metal limited edition poisen pirate slammer. ;) Haha.
Other crazes that went through my primary was yo-yos (real flash ones, haha), chatter rings, pogs (we called them caps), Koosh balls. We even had this awesome wooden car track that went down this big hill at school, four lanes, twisted around each other. And at the bottom there was a concrete drain, I lost so many cars down there. :(

I remember all those shows and watched most of them. I was born in '86.
I used to collect alot of G.I.Joe figures, they were awesome, and I had heaps of Transformers toys, man, to be a kid again, good times.

Shane: All through high school. This dude was a bottom feeder. You know the guy, short, blonde and pudgy.
In P.E. he would almost always bring a note from his mum excusing him, just cause he didn't like to exert himself. But on the odd occasion he didn't bring a note and was forced to do some physical education. Once we were doing push-ups in some sort of a game, and I [cabbage] you not, he couldn't even do one. He wasn't a obese guy, just "pudgy". Would of been about 5'10" and about 90kg, but the guy had absolutely no muscle mass at all.
He would destroy movie endings for you, weather or not on purpose I was still to find out. His parents would always manage to get him premier tickets to all the good movies, and he would come to school the next day and proceed to tell you all about it. You'd always say to him "Shane, I don't care man, I'm going to see it so don't ruin it for me".
"Oh.. Ok", then he would carry on doing his school work for five minutes, then turn around and start telling you some more. :evil:
Oh, and he was a creep too, he stalked the real popular girl in our year, and once he said something to me that really disturbed me. He said to me "Man, you should get the Hollowman on DVD, it is so cool, it has extended rape scene!".
Last I heard he still works at the same dairy that he did when he was 15 doing three days a week. :wall: /rant.

I've always wondered that. Like how we impersonate asian langauges (no offence but...) by going "[garden tool] weee chaaa nung weee chung woo" how would say, a Chinese person try and mock us by pretending to speak english?

Yes, it's a sad thing, but it isn't entirely the game's fault.
Why do people find it so witty to post crap like that. When obviously people have still found it interesting, and a valid discussion has come from it?

I downloaded Anarchy, and the bloody thing dosen't know how to patch. It patches some parts, then for certain files says that my computer denies them access because i'm not on a admin account (except 90% of all software is installed by me).
WoW is still looking like the best thing out there....
Yeah, WoW looks good, but paying for a subscription, only to play an hour or so a night due to 12+ hours of work a day doesn't seem worth it.
Ragnarok was good when I played it, I played on the real easy servers so you can get a top level character in a matter off hours/days. But the problem is free servers are always doing stat wipes/closing.
Lion, check their forums if they have any and FAQs or install guides, alot of the free games, theres a nack to installing it.

Well, I say yes, blame the drug, as it is ALOT more mind altering then playing a video game. Had the person not been under the influance may have decided against taking their own life.

Which makes it all the more pathetic that they blame the gaming world.
If you want to find something to blame for suicide, look into their history. For all we know he was abused as a child, bullied and did drugs.
So again, why blame video games just because he played them?
We should blame underwear, I'm sure he was wearing them at the time of his death too.

As I stated before, I made my own thread because I have my own preferences. I would rather have a store bought game, without subscription fees, as games you pay for tend to screw you around alot less. Don't do stat wipes or any crap like that.
If I wanted some snyde remark, I'd get in contact with Bubsa, go away. Didn't even read the rest of your post, bummer.

My first kiss was, excluding all the cutesy kisses when you're a kid, was when I was 16. Bit of a late bloomer really, was very shy. But in the five years since then I've been with quite a few girls, so yeah, don't worry if it hasn't happened yet. Just learn to open up, and talk to girls, they won't rip your face off.

It was my 21st on the 24th, which was pretty much a non-event, always is, hate my birthday, cause everyone is away. GOing to have a huge party in Feb though.
For my 21st my older brother (who is fairly well off) bought me a $1,500 Longines watch, it's awesome.
For Christmas didn't get too much, got clothes, shoes and all that sorta stuff, which I really did need.

Haha, jokes. I'm currently pondering what to buy, a 360, ps3, or a Wii. I'm really a PS fanboy at heart as I owned a PS1 since day 1. But heard good things about the other two, and not so good about the ps3. :(

south park is way better on every level.
Anyway...I'll watch family guy and it' is pretty funny, but it's a little too stupid for me. I do think that they use more offensive stuff than they should. ( i don't like when they make fun of jesus. It goes a little too far for me) I don't like how a lot of times someone will say something or make a joke and then they show some clip of it. I don't remeber any of those right now but i'm sure you know what im talking about.
What the hell, do you actually watch South Park? You do know God was a goat or some crap on it right? And they hassle the crap out of Jesus?
And the flash backs are the best, haha!
South Park to me even with all the swearing, is a little bit below me now, used to watch it heaps, but it's got a younger audiance then Family Guy I think.

You're all forgetting Goosebumps! Haha, I loved those books, started to read them when I was about six I think. They were what got me into reading (although I haven't read a book for over a year now, never find the time). I remember staying up late one night reading them, and it got me so [cabbage] scared I slammed the book shut and threw it under my bed, and it stayed under there for weeks until I picked it up again. :oops:
