  1. Requesting ideas, private or otherwise, on gifts/stuff to return the favour with.

I have several Canadian pennies. That's my first idea.

On a side note, A few days ago I had a date with this guy from work. And since then we've been with eachother a lot alone at work and talking outside of work. He is really romantic and sweet. I think I'm in love. Its scary. Second date tonight, and I'll see him at a party tomorrow night. It really sucks that I'm going back to school so soon now. All summer I couldn't wait to get back and now I don't want to go so soon or leave this undeveloped.

I haven't slept with him but from our conversations he's into fetish-y stuff, and bdsm. That could be really fun.

  2. Dang hon nice kitchen. Or it looks bigger in the light. Idk.

Thats really cool. I had no idea that coloured tp existed.

And thanks. I'll pay it soon. Its pretty sucky but thats just one night or so of working down the drain; I don't think insurance cares about parking tickets. At least I didn't get hit again or something. Life goes on. I don't think I'm going to tell my mom though.

And I'd just like to say I'm totally cool with you sending me a roll of pink toilet paper lol.

  3. I got back to my spot five minutes late and saw the meter cop two cars down from me. Hundred dollar DC parking ticket.

    [bleep] life. I'm so done.

Just doing his job I guess. But still. :/

At least I got back on birth control today (had a pregnancy scare, turned out to be nothing) and got off work early. Otherwise today would have sucked.

Taking gp donations for paying this :/

  4. No it wasn't you. Just a lot of sleazy [bleep]'s saying wonky things. It had a lot of pick-up artist feelings in it, for me at least. (I found out about that stuff from tumblr and later reddit) treating people like some game. Some things said seemed true and interesting observations but even those instances just felt like a broken clock being right twice a day. Or once a day if its a 24 hour clock.

I guess its straight male-centric, though. I guess most runescape-oriented forums are, though.

And Alg, I doubt it. Maybe. But it was usually my single or chronically single friends giving unwanted advice on my relationship. Only one person ever consistently insisted that it was a really unhealthy imbalanced relationship. I wish I listened to him sooner.

  5. At work had to refuel and dump some debris at a huge county facilities complex (basically the death star but for county government workers instead of the empire) but on the way out one of the Vdot officers saw our dump truck had a stopping light out, which isn't a brake light but is some special truck thing from my understanding. We had to take it to the garage on the same complex and turn it in for repairs, and the mechanic there noticed our trailer hitch had some rust on it (we didn't have a trailer) and called it super unsafe and made us take a different truck for the rest of the day. The replacement truck? Seatbelt connection to the floor had completely fallen off  .

At least I got to watch hot firemen take off their jackets and walk around with hoses for a while. Not much got done today. Got a date.

That food makes me jealous. That steak looks far too big for one person to eat but would probably make me reconsider my not eating cows policy.

  6. Just seem interested, listen, be interesting. Don't act shy or scared. Don't be embarrassed about it being your first date. Everyone had first dates. Don't tell her it isn't. Be confident.

Don't 'be yourself', be a better version of yourself. Don't be too bluntly honest about your shortcomings (not saying be dishonest, its hard to explain).

I'd probably want to pay for myself if its a first date but that isn't really that important if its a coffee place and you pay up front. If its like a restaurant or a bar and keeps a tab (idk I don't frequent coffee places much ok) it'd be really awkward to pay dutch.

Don't feel she owes you anything further after going on a date/paying for. That sounds bad to say but I've had experiences like that and it was really uncomfortable and unfair.

  7. Never posted here before, have had it recommended though. I've had a few relationships, mostly with men, most recently was broken up with a few months ago after a year of trying to keep a long distance relationship going. After that I kind of tried to sleep with everything that moved, it didn't help, and I think I'm over it.

I started working closely with a guy at work this past week and a half, we ride in the same truck and spend a lot time alone, etc. Just getting to know eachother pretty well. He is incredibly freaking handsome and funny, and training to be a firefighter eventually. Well last Friday I gave him my phone number and we were talking for a bit and we both kind of want something casual for now. I think he was a little put off by how curt I can be over texting and in person also. Well he said we should do something tomorrow night. I'm not sure what its going to be but I'm excited. I hope it goes alright :).

I think everyone else I work with at that job thinks I'm gay. I guess doing landscaping work while wearing boots and plaid and having a boy's haircut (just because its hot out and I don't care, it'll grow back) doesn't help my case, but its amusing to me in a small way.

    His name is Carlos.

I hope this isn't a disaster. Since I was broken up with I've had a lot of partners (and that's been fun ;)) but no real dates or anything serious.

  8. Make your computer smarter just download some more RAM duhhh. Probably the 3ds. I have a kindle for a few years now and no issues. There's not a whole lot which can go wrong on them.

Today the vdot cops stopped us at the west ox complex (basically like the death star but for county workers instead of the empire) for a stop light being out on the truck so we had to stop at the garage. While we were there the mechanic stopped us for the trailer hitch being eroded. Massively unsafe for some reason. We didn't have a trailer but whatever. So we had to get a different truck to come home. The one they gave us? My seatbelt had rusted off of the truck. So much safer than a stop light being out

At least I just got to sit outside and watch the hot firefighters take off their jackets and unwind hoses :D.

    Also destroyed school buses:

  9. Merp short hair. Grow it out, long hair is 100% always better - on girls.

But that's coming from a straight guy, so maybe I'm biased.

Will hopefully have my bass guitar entirely customized by the end of the week. Then to finish my pedal set and start recording.

Ok but I'm outside sweating my ass off in the sun for eight hours a day and long hair would make that a lot worse. But I guess I should stick to a more attractive hair style :/.

Seriously I don't know if I EVER want to go back to how long it was until this year. I had it to my shoulder blades and it didn't feel at all attractive and was a pain to take care of.

[hide]Not like I have anyone I need to impress any more :/[/hide]

That looks pretty neat. What do you mean by customising it?

  10. I'm sorry to hear that. Losing pets is rough.Don't apologise for making a big deal of it; it is a big deal. Pets enter our lives and provide so much love and then devastate us. Sorry again. :/

    Sorry for offtopic:

A guy at work I hadn't seen for about a week saw my new hair and concluded I looked like a skinny lesbian (its hot as hell outside and I was feeling brave, have a men's cut instead of a pixie. I don't care, it'll grow back :) ). I've never been more confused on how to react to a compliment/insult. Did he mean I was skinny, or that lesbians are overweight? Why would he think that? why would he think I look like one? Why would he even tell me this unprovoked?

Ive been really worried about my weight for a few months though so it was nice to hear someone doesn't think I'm fat. I've gained ten pounds but not in fat or anywhere visible.

  11. Yup, of all possible silver linings, being able to go into porn easier is my favorite

You'd probably get injured less. Just saying.

Possibly. Though I can only imagine having to explain to my doctor how I received an injury while making porn :P

You could be honest to a doctor about whats going on, making porn isn't illegal; even if it were, you could still tell them. But I understand i guess

  12. Yeah hard to drink boxed wine from the box though, and if you try you look like an alcoholic. I stick to a bottle of some cheap fruity trashy wine :).

I'm sorry to hear about that. That's awful to not have closure. After the autopsy and funeral we got back some personal items he had with him. Its rough just knowing some random night of no significance was the last time you spoke to them. Its hard to imagine losing him without a trace at all. I'm really sorry. Harpie hug

Edit: nothing wrong with boring parents. I'm not a fan of the parents-as-friends-not-parents thing my mom has tried to do. I don't think I would raise a child like I was raised. And I'm already off to a great start, I'm 19 and have not had any children yet. I should get a family trophy or something.

  13. Idk, many decades of drinking and my mother isn't a mean nasty drunkard, she's a fun and occasionally depressed drinker. I don't consider going out on weekends to be signs of alcoholism. Plus she always is forgetting drinks and it leads to a lot of free wine . Smoking (cigarettes but mostly weed) made her an anxious abrasive jackass, I'm glad she sorted her life out.

My parents are responsible doctors :-k

My mom is a very responsible and wonderful teacher :).

I somewhat envy both of you, I don't think either of my parents could be considered responsible.

Drinking only on weekends would be a massive step up for my mom. She even keeps a bottle of vodka and a cup in her bathroom. You can never be too prepared I guess <_<

And well, I mean it's possible that my dad is a very responsible person. But seeing as he's got his own missing persons case, it's a little bit harder to determine that. Sometimes I like to think he was a secret agent and got called away on some important mission to save the world or something, in which case I'd say that's pretty responsible :P

Yeah the hiding alcohol (and formerly, weed, when she didn't want me to know about it) in all sorts of funny places is silly. Sometimes I'm not sure if she meant to hide it or just left it there once it was empty and forgot about it.

[hide]My mom comes home from work and says she needs a glass of wine to unwind and ends up drinking a lot more than 1 glass [/hide]

Yeah mine is the same way with wine and menthol smooths <.<. Are we related somehow?

Sorry to hear about your father Nekyia. I lost mine in a car accident a while ago. Its rough.

There is a nonzero chance that he is actually a superhero and had his cover blown though :)
