  1. Four combat levels to go, and ponies! :^_^: ...Making 8,900 pouches in series was boring as hell though. One level at a time from now on.
  2. Thanks for the replies you two! So I need to make money for turmoil...Flipping you say? I imagine I could sell my Bandos, DFS etc and just do Waterfiends for charms, should leave me with ~75-80m to flip with. I'm not that economically challenged, but is there certain items best to flip with? Or perhaps a guide on what to look for? The first thing that came to mind was trying to flip something "big ticket" that's in my range, like an AGS. Is this a good idea? Or should I try resources and consumables?
  3. ...but 8 is enough for one thread yes? Yes. At the time of posting this I'm farming the last ~1200 crimson charms for 88 summoning (89 if I make my own ponies, which I might for geyser titans). I'm trying to figure out the best way to continue getting my goals: 95 prayer, overloads etc. The usual stuff. Aside from my stats, I currently have: full Elite Void with melee helm, ranger helm and deflector. (mage helm is Irish for [cabbage], yes?) Elite Excalibur Charms for a Pony almost 221 quest points (I get terribly bored doing them, yet I want TDs unlocked  ) Bandos DFS (only for cannoning wyverns, which I'm doing constantly atm) Fury Zerker ring Chaotic Rapier 1,000 extreme attack, strength, defence I don't really "do" money makers currently - I slayed quite a bit prior to this charm farming spree, I do the 10maple5coal MTK setup as I'm forgetful and have to collect more than once a week. My wyvern massacring gets me about 500k profit after c-balls an hour (plus the 100 crimsons an hour). All told I'm worth like ~90m currently, which is not enough to get what I want obviously. Q's: 1: Is getting 95 prayer the next important thing I should work toward? (would getting soul split first make farming the last 3 levels easier? I doubt it but..) 2: If so, how should I go about making the ~70m I need to buy the bones? (frost, ourg bones I was looking at most) 3: Overloads maybe? I've plotted getting them via GE and Tip.it's skill planner, comes out to ~38m + torstol cost for however many overloads I choose to make. 4: Is there any way I can incorporate getting 99 range and magic into these goals efficiently (or maybe not..)? 5: Is there something important I'm forgetting/unaware of due to being ancient and bad? (besides dungeoneering...) 6: Would something like solo/duo dagg kings be viable with what I have or can get quickly? Or should I just tie myself to my desk and slave out the quests and or dung levels? 7: Is buying as much of say, 95 prayer, as I can now a good idea? Prices seem rather low but... 8: If I can tolerate dung enough to get another reward, which would help the most currently? I do need more dungeoneering rewards (maul, ccb, scrolls etc) and I'm sure frost dragons, even with bots, is still a great moneymaker but... Frankly I find it hard to "enjoy" that skill as much as I would like and barely enough to get what I want out of it (yet I enjoyed fletching without fletch X /facedesk )... I'm destructively forgetful and that does not help. :wall: I am going to stop being terrible and start farming snapdragons in between wyvern trips etc, so that should help the funds out a bit. I've probably forgotten something but thanks in advance anyway! :^_^:
  4. I've often wondered if this would be useful as a niche weapon at Waterfiends (for those without a Chaotic Maul obviously, and free cash to spend) especially when using elite void. I don't know if the +20crush bonus and +50 strength over the Saradomin Sword are enough to make it better, or even comparable. From personal experience Saradomin Sword annihilates Waterfiends with void piety and extremes, often faster than the average inefficient maulers I run into who seem lucky to hit a 400 for some strange, or maybe obvious, reason. Maybe I'll spend the money and the 4 hour timer and see how much better, or likely worse, it is. ...Or just keep obsessively cannoning Skeletal Wyverns for charms. :-D
  5. Most profitable single drop I've had since a left half from Shadow Warriors on classic.. ...Now if only I could finish questing or get lucky at GWD to erase this embarrassing statistic.
  6. I was looking for a change of pace from waterfiends last night and stumbled across this guide. After spending 2 hours there with a slightly modified setup (ardy cape 3, zerker ring, piety) due to my crappy stats I ended up with the following gains and losses: +196 crimson charms +22 blue charms +185 wyvern bones - 1.321m +101 runite bolts - 113k -2,000 cannon balls - 450k -6% chaotic rapier charges estimated - 120k (I forgot to check exact charges prior to going, but it was around 60% before, 54% after) Considerably more profitable than my average waterfiend trip (without any rare table drops here or there) and more "fun" than waterfiend-whack-a-mole. With better cannon placement, I struggled finding a perfect spot, soul split, CLS etc these should be a great alternative to the 'big three' charm getters. Excelent guide! =D>
  7. Ancient tip-it'er/lurker (2002ish) and even older RSC'er (sometime in 2001, I remember picking warrior class and having my wooden shield and bronze sword!) I recently came back for the 10,001st time I figured I'd re-register since I lost my old account from '05 centuries ago... What do I find? A thread for long time addicts! I mean players! Yes players. Quite nice being able to see a few names from the old high scores and ones thrown around in bank chatter (old Seer's Bank <3: ) after 10 years. Did I really just say 10 years?... ... :ohnoes:
