Hey. For a long time, I've wanted to get an MP3 player, but have always put it off due to the high prices- and because of the fact that if you buy one now, it will become outdated within a few months. Anyway, my friend directed me to this site They offer you a choice of a "free" 4GB iPod Nano, 20GB iPod Color, or 6GB iPod Mini. Well, they are not actually free- but they are VERY cheap. The company asks that you subscribe to one of its sponsor's services. I subscribed to Rhapsody, and paid $.99 for a month of service. After the first month, I cancelled my subscription- resulting in a grand total payment of $.99! The other catch is that you have to refer 5 additional people to sign up for free iPods. This was a bit annoying, but without too much effort I convinced 5 people from my school to sign up. Anyways, I have my 4GB black iPod Nano in my hand right now- about 4 weeks after first registering. 8) For $.99, and a small amount of time spent, I now have my (sweet) MP3 player. Thought I'd share this with you guys, and help out my fellow cheapskates. :D
