Wyverns are worth doing regardless of whether you own goliaths or not, slashing with rapier or using a cls are both suited for this; due to their consistent double crimson charm drops, they have a high summon:slayer ratio, not to mention that they are cannonable. Desert wyrms are more common than Jungle wyrms, it's better to block deserts instead. -

Gemeos, I was thinking... With C2 skilling the way it is now, it seems reasonable to get about 70k fishing xp/hour PLUS 70k woodcutting xp/hour (although I think you get a little more fishing xp than woodcutting xp; these figures are only rough). This means that, if you can gain 120k fishing xp/hour standalone (as youhave stated here), doing C2 skilling this way will save you 7/12 hours + 7/14 hours per hour (0.583 + 0.5) = 1.083 hours per hour, making it ~8% more efficient to complete the majority of woodcutting and fishing with this method. Bear in mind: my ~70k/hour for both woodcutting and fishing comes from a source that reports ~100k/hour in fishing standalone, which seems to suggest that either your 120k/hour is too high or my 70k/hour is too low, which either suggests my 70k/hour should be higher, thus increasing the stated efficiency of my method, or suggests your 120k/hour should be lower, thus increasing the time value of 70k fishing experience, which also increases the stated efficiency of my method. It is also worth considering that your 140k/hour for woodcutting is widely accepted to be the standard rate of xp for splitting arctic pines, which is not only a great deal more strenuous than any aspect of C2 skilling, but is also considerably affected by the latency and stability of the player's internet connection. Lastly, no player that I am aware of has sustained this method for a considerable portion of 200m woodcutting, let alone all of it. If these conclusions drawn are sound, this allows us to look at something quite interesting: C2 firemaking. As you are probably aware, the rate in which one firemakes inside Daemonheim is much faster than elsewhere, I believe it is one fire per two ticks (please correct me if I'm wrong here, anyone). We can assume that on average, per two ticks of firemaking, you will gain 0.5*[grave branch xp] + 0.5*[ent branch xp]; (i.e. the average of the two), as I believe when you have 99 woodcutting, the ratio is of grave:ent is 1:1, but correct me if I'm wrong here, too. This comes out to ~242 xp/2ticks, ~121 xp/tick = ~726k xp/hour. Now, I failed about 10% of the time on my first hour attempting this, so if you consider this plus the 'waste' time in preparing yourself to light a row of logs, you could still say (within reason) that this suggests a rate equivalent to over 600k firemaking xp/hour, which is actually faster (and considerably easier) than pyrelord magic logs, making this (if my calculations are correct) more efficient than pyrelord magic logs, not to mention free, which brings me to my next point. It has already been established that pyrelord magic logs are more efficient than Jadinko lair firemaking if you value your time at inf. gp/hour (i.e. if money is absolutely not a factor, sup DD ranks), which logically leads us to the conclusion that firemaking within C2 skilling is more efficient than Jadinko lair firemaking (again, providing all calculations so far are correct). Thus, this allows us to draw the conclusion that firemaking within C2 skilling, provided you fish also is more efficient, regardless of how a player values their time over all other currently existing methods aside from Book of Char, while not being overly difficult. A final factor worth considering is the overall rate of firemaking:woodcutting in C2 skilling, if you choose to do firemaking. I believe the ratio of 1/2 xp logs to full xp logs is 1:1 and we've already assumed the ratio of grave:ent to be 1:1, so the average xp/log can be calculated knowing this. Firstly, 1/2 and 1 (meaning full xp) can be averaged to 0.75, so the average xp/log is 0.75, or three quarters of that of the maximum xp/log. 0.75*330 = 247.5 and 0.75*285 = 213.75. This averages out to ~231 xp/log on average, in woodcutting, which gives us a ratio of ~231:242 woodcutting to firemaking in C2 skilling, which is about 23:24. Regardless, this means you get more firemaking xp than woodcutting in C2 skilling, so assuming that you start C2 skilling with equal woodcutting and firemaking xp, you should finish firemaking first. The only thing I'm not too sure about here is the exact ratio of fishing:woodcutting in C2 skilling, could anyone help me out here? Also, I am interested to know how much better a primal hatchet is than a promethium hatchet. Tool-hunts can be difficult to organize.

correct, though I anticipate updates as well, and while slayer is the only skill that has a propensity to get slower (see jadinko lair, gano creatures, 3 strykewyrms), agility can only really get faster over time. also dag sentinels are about 260k melee exp an hr and more afk than skeles, until they get nerfed ofc, since you asked, all your other numbers are right. Slayer doesn't have a propensity to get slower, rather a possibility. The likelihood of Jagex to release a task that slows down the average xp/hour is roughly equal to that of them releasing one that speeds it up. There are countless updates in the past few years that have sped up slayer (turmoil, overloads, rapier, hellhound cave, steadfasts, auras) and only a few that have slowed it, of which ganodermic creatures aren't included, as you can block all of them with one slot, and we were given an additional slot when they were released. It would be correct to say that Slayer has a possibility to get slower but (and this has been shown), has a propensity to get faster.

The bonfire update is not going to be nearly as bad as people are anticipating. When Jagex say bonfires will be better than firemaking as it is, they're not talking about pyrelord firemaking, they're talking about one-line firemaking, which is obsolete anyway, thanks to Jadinko lair firemaking. Jadinko lair firemaking is a great high-level method for training firemaking, as it doesn't consist of absolute repetition like standard firemaking, it requires observation as well as attention (spotting curly roots), it has 'surprise' rewards (3 or 4 auto-burns with adze) and allows the player to rest for parts of it. On top of this, it provides a free, fast (but not as fast as click-intensive magic log pyrelord firemaking) and ultimately enjoyable way of training firemaking. My prediction is that bonfires will require less attention and interaction than Jadinko lair firemaking, but will be less xp/hour and won't be as 'enjoyable'. This will provide a slower but more viable training method for younger or more casual players with shorter attention spans. Thus, firemaking will become similar to woodcutting; both having a low attention, low xp method (ivy / bonfires), medium attn/xp (powercutting pines/teaks) and a high attn/xp (splitting pines with a dragon hatchet) method. All in all, it sounds like a good update, as long as the highest tier bonfires (magic) don't exceed 75% the speed of Jadinko lair (so, about 250k/hour max).

Aside from comp cape stats, Blocks has: 200m range (zero time value, is also 13m slayer) 200m magic (zero time value, is also 13m mining) 200m constitution (zero time value) 200m prayer (200 hours time value) 200m cooking (700 hours time value, being generous) 200m fletching (350 hours time value) Enough melee xp to be 200m all melees after 200m slayer without having to camp for melee, instead he will have to camp waterfiends/rock lobsters for 200m summoning) Jebrim's second account will get 5b before Blocks does.

Language:[hide] [/hide] :( I posted a comment on his SOF video telling him that he was the cancer destroying what was left of RS and its commnunity. He deleted it. Oh yeah, he spent his lamps on Slayer, too. Considering that Slayer xp is valued similarly as xp in a standalone skill you can gain about 250k/hour in, due to it being able to train multiple skills at once, this was a very poor decision. Regardless, I think anyone who ever buys spins, even just one iteration of the smallest purchase package, should be disregarded from any skill comparison, on here or otherwise, on account of them not only earning their xp through (what we all should agree to be) an illegitimate means of doing so, but for acting as an enabler unto Jagex in what is arguably the worst thing they've ever done to RS, in not only its implementation and immediate effect, but for what it means for the game's increasingly uncertain future.

Due to recent criticism of my slaying method from some DGS clan members, I have decided to stop using CLS on dagannoths and aberrant spectres, despite the fact that these are tasks where the cannon does the majority of the damage. Henceforth, I shall now use a much more DGS-approved method for these tasks.

:lol: Its hard to judge thats why the numbers are vastly different. Although the right circumstances can make this 2b an hour. Its hard to judge because its all dependent on buyers rather then what I can produce. I think I know the method that you are referring to here. I calculated that the maximum gain per hour is 2,055,000,000 gp (2.055b) per hour, with a margin of error of about 5m (based on current prices). However, (to my dismay), I found that the practicality of my hypothesis is very poor and it by no means works as a fair representation to the actual profit of the method. My calculations were based on being able to collect and bank 706 whiteberries per second (~424 per game tick) but in actuality, it is more like 0.22 whiteberries per second. There is a good chance you made a similar calculation error, I would suggest checking and if possible, recalculating and reposting the profit/hour value that you mentioned before.
