  1. yes hendrix is a little over rated but he did start a new way of guitar playing and he still owns :D... steve vai is also over rated he uses lightest strings possible so doesent have to pluck for every note :D but he is still good, and yes there r a few blues but mainly metal... although i think blues has the greatest ever but maybe metal has more greats.... if u get what im talking about :D

Stevie ray vaughan (SRV my personal fav) 2. Jimmi hendrix (but of course) 3. Eric clapton (yup another white guy) 4. BB king (one of the founders of blues) 5. Jimy paige (greatest ever to be in an actual "band")
