I'm back! had some time off my main, after getting cleaned numerous times. Now currently working on my pure, will be adding a small bank pic and stats soon :)

Last big win before getting cleaned :( was sitting on around 3.5b after this, currently rebuilding once again :wall:

Oh I see, perhaps check out some pking videos on youtube to give you a better idea. I will give you a basic run down of the builds of pures I know of, If anyone can correct me that's fine but I have a pretty certain idea on what types. F2P PURES The best way to start any F2P pking account is to do imp catcher for a quick 8 magic, use body spells to gain magic levels, do vampire slayer for a quick way to 20 attack, and if members complete water fall quest and fight arena for more attack and strength xp. PURE1 defense, 30-40 attack, 50-99 strength, 50-99 ranged, 1-44 prayer. RUNE PURES- 40 defense, 40 attack, 50-99 strength, 50-99 ranged, 1-44 prayer. RANGE PURES 1 defense, 1 attack, 1 strength, 40-99 ranged, 1-44 prayer. RANGE TANKS 40-60+ defense, 1 attack 1 strength, 60+ ranged, 1-44 prayer. 85 magic is optional for teleblock, 1 prayer is the best as you cannot use prayer pots in F2P and have to go to alter to recharge. P2P PURES RANGE PURE- 1+ attack, strength, defense, 60+ ranged, 1-44 prayer. Quests: avas accumulator (other skills needed to complete this) DDS/CLAW PURE- 60/60 attack, 60+ strength, 1 defense, 1-52 prayer, 1-70+ ranged, 1-99 magic. Quests: Lost city, monkey madness, death plateau, desert treasure, starting recipe of disaster is optional but good if you can complete enough to get addy gloves for max strength bonus with 1 defense. MAUL PURE- 50/50 attack, 60+ strength, 1 defense, 1-52 prayer, 1-70+ range, 1-99 magic. Quests: death plateau, desert treasure, start recipe disaster. INITATE PURE- 60-80+ attack, 60+ strength, 20 defense, 1-52 prayer, 1-70+ range, 1-99 magic, 80+ dungeoneering if using chaotics. Quests: Lost city, monkey madness, death plateau, desert treasure, recruitment drive, starting recipe of disaster. 30 DEFENSE TURMOIL PURE- The newest type and expensive to train. 50-80+ attack, 60+ strength, 30-35 defense, 92-99 prayer, 70-99 ranged, 94-99 magic, 80+ dungeoneering if using chaotics. Quests: Lots of quests needed, all of the ones above, plus temple at sennestien and all the quests and stats required to complete this quest, looking at 150m+ to create one of these types. 45 DEFENSE (ZERKER) PURE- Common and powerful build of pure. 60-99 attack, 60-99 strength, 40-45 defense, 31-52 prayer or 95+ for turmoil, 70+ ranged, 94+ magic for vengeance is a must to be successful at pking with this build, 80+ dungeoneering if using chaotics Quests: dragon slayer and all of the quests above, plus skills and quests to complete lunar diplomacy, completing recipe of disaster is one of the longest quests in RuneScape but gives the ability to wear barrows gloves which are the best bonus for the glove slot and require 40 defense to wear. BARROWS PURE, personally my favourite type of build as I have one. 70-99 attack, 70-99 strength, 70-99 defense, 52-99 prayer, 70+ ranged, 94+ magic, 80+ dungeoneering if using chaotics. Quests: all of the above+ kings ransom if using piety- requires 70 prayer. A fun build of pure with many options. These are just the common builds and the ones I think are the best for pking there are many others such as tanks, mage pures, obby pures, and lots of variations of the builds listed above, I wrote so much as I'm bored and currently training 99 magic :) if you have any more questions just ask :)

Cool, Nice start, I have plenty suggestions, getting skills is a good idea as it will make it easier for you to complete quests in order to make a successful pure. If your aiming at staying 1 defense I suggest the best build to be, hybrid strength, either 50-60 attack, 80+ strength, 43-52 prayer, 82-99 magic with ancients. Pures are fun for pking but dont expect to make much as the drops you will get from other players will usually only range from 50k-500k max, plus there is a lot more rushers and pjers at this level with 1 defense, Personally I think the best builds for PVP are 30 defense turmoil pures/zerkers or barrows pures with piety.

G'day Tip.It, I'm a longtime user of this site, but I have only recently returned to the forums under a new alias. Just a little introduction and some pictures of my current achievements, stat goals, wealth goals and bank, I'm aware that this may not be the right section for bank pictures and staking pictures, but this post was moved to this section, and I would like to compile all into one, if that's okay ofcourse :rolleyes: I have been playing RuneScape since early classic days and in that time have trained many different accounts and builds, my playing is mainly focused on PVP. I have only just recently returned to an old account of mine and I'm focusing on turning into a decent barrows pure. Bank as of 8/12/2011- Just bought my first P hat!!! had some good wins :thumbsup: My Goals- ------------- 81/85 attack 87/90+ strength 71/75 defence=Possibly 80 for torva/divine 70/70 prayer=Possibly 99 if can be bothered. 99/99 magic 84/85 ranged 150mmax cash+ bank ---------------- Updated Achieved 99 magic :) A few stakes from last week on my maxed boxer- Rune Shadow (Could not find the graveyard section, seems to be removed) I have a ton more, but I'm not sure if this is the right section so I'll leave it till I'm corrected. Bank total was around 1.8B on the 2/12/2011, now around 320m :x looking at getting back to 3rd age + santa and cash to spare, then stopping staking for a while and just focus on pking on Ausy Currently rebuilding :wall: Rate/hate and advice appreciated :)
