  1. In runescape classic i always trained combat skills in the wildernis, if someone crashed me we simply fought for the spot. the person that wun, earned the skilling plot. These days its a bit harder but try to stick with it. if you go bandos. there are anti crashers team. try to get to know them and count on them when you are getting crashed. Frost dragons is really good money but i find it hard to enjoy myself there. Hunting is really nice these days but you are looking for a pvm way.

Corporal beast is nice :) just make sure you go with enough people, that way crashers can t do much neither

  2. the guide is really good to help you getting started :) but the best way is to simply try :) the way you dung really depends on your style, your stats and the time you have. The clan were I'm got some beginners in Dung too. They always look eachother up to help eachother. If you are in a cc, try to ask around there are people that are willing to dung with you. That way you will be having more fun in the skill as well then teaming up with random people.

  3. Then what else can you do to speed up your PC's performance?

There are many tips to keep your computer fast:

    (general)

    - keep it up to date but dont do updates your system cannot handle

    - keep your computer clean: When you dont play a game any more. Consider deleting it.

    - be aware on what you are doing. don't instal tools that are supposed to make your computer better when you have no idea what they do. Also what they claim they do isnt always based on the truth

    - if you are done with a program, mirror, internet session etc close it

    - keep your msconfig clean (start >> run >> MSCONFIG >> Booting section) this may speed up your boot

    (internet)

    - dont visit weird websites

    - if things pops up unwanted dont click on it. If it happens a lot, consider cleaning up programms like hitmanpro

    - ones again keep your computer clean.. clean up browserhistory, cookies, temp files and stuff like that

    - avoid downloading heavy material when you are online gaming, try to pause the download and resume them when you are done gaming

    (gaming)

    - read the requirments that the game is asking from your hardware before buying and using it. Some games are just insane and way to new for your computer

    - playing on high details is cool cause you see more of the game but with lower settings you game will go smoother

  4. Its kind a weird.. your old monitor was working fine on your videocard but the monitor crashed. that might had influence on your videocard since it was attached with a cable. Easiest way to test this is using a third monitor on it. If the videocard is still working fine, and the monitor was doing so as well it might has to do something with your settings. But you said you tried to adjust them. When i bought my monitor there is a cd with it as well that i needed to instal. Did your brother get a cd with the monitor? If is the monitor itself some more information about the monitor will help :)
