  1. Sorry for the lack of consistent updates lately guys, going to start updating and blogging progress a lot more. Been hard at work training :]. Added a current progress section to my blog under the current stats, so check that out for updates from now on, including my progress lately. Thanks again for the support everyone, i appreciate it and will continue to work towards my goals!
  2. Currently going for 85 Dung for Chaotic Rapier, Scroll of Cleansing, and Bonecrusher Current Dungeoneering Level:64 I also got 70 Prayer from 60 in order to get Piety to use in Dungeoneering until Turmoil and Soulsplit. Got a Shadow Silk Hood and Celestial Surgebox while Dungeoneering with Random teams in W77 :) Picture of Shadow Silk Hood and Surgebox Let me know if you want to Dungeoneer :)
  3. Check out my blog on setting a record to the Trimmed Completionist Cape on Blogscape under "Tykras: Dreamer to Master". Donations and loans to help achieve the goal and set the record are much appreciated =]

  4. Finished 88k nature runes at the Living Rock Caverns doing Superheating while Mining, here are my levels since my last update. :) Starting Stats since last update::1950 Total Level, 90 Mining, 87 Magic, 82 Smithing, 65 Runecrafting,86 Woodcutting Ending Stats::1970 Total Level, 94 Mining, 91 Magic, 89 Smithing,67 Runecrafting,89 Woodcutting Picture of 90 Magic: Going to start making money for 95 Prayer and 96 Herblore to begin Powerslaying to Max Combat. If anyone has any advice or wants to help out let me know :)
  5. Going to start winding down on Superheating while Mining and train Runecrafting upon the introduction of the Runespan if the XP Rates prove to be the fastest RC in the game. I will also start making progress towards 80 Dung for a Chaotic Rapier, as i plan to get my initial Dung rewards as a Rapier, Scroll of cleansing, Bonecrusher, Chaotic Crossbow, Rigour, and an Eagle Eye Kiteshield. By the way, sorry to be a bother about this and this thread is goal-focused however I'm just going to throw this in here as making a thread on it would be rude and against the forum rules, and note I'm not encouraging trust trading and it is entirely up to the consent of the individual whether or not they wish to help out, but if anyone wants to be so kind I've been wanting an Adventurer's Log/ Forum picture with a partyhat for a while, so if anyone is willing to let me use their partyhat for the picture i appreciate it, and I'll compensate them if they wish. Thanks again everyone for your support and I'll see you all on Runescape! :)
  6. Hey everyone, in light of all the recent updates such as the buyable SOF spins, the effigy nerf etc. that have lead to a huge loss of motivation for a fair amount of the Runescape Community, I'm wondering what initially motivated you all to start playing, who has inspired you, and what keeps you playing today. I'm hoping discussing this can bring back some optimism and happiness to the Runescape community. My personal motivation comes from my goals such as the Trimmed Completionist Cape and the interactive community, and I'm interested in hearing what yours are. Feel free to discuss your opinions and thoughts here. :)
  7. Results of Superheating while Mining in the Living Rock Caverns for 5 days and exchanging Troll Invasion/Penguin/Jack of Trade xp books on Runecrafting Starting stats:1900 Total Level, 80 Mining, 78 Magic, 54 Smithing, 62 Runecrafting Ending Stats:1950 Total Level, 90 Mining, 87 Magic, 82 Smithing, 65 Runecrafting Pictures of a couple of my Level-Ups (Mining and Magic respectively)
  8. Been camping in the Living Rock Caverns, superheating while mining for the last few days, i will post an update on my progress soon. :D
  9. To all those curious, I will NOT be using the buyable Squeal of Fortune/Xp spins to achieve my goal. I will be training all my skills myself and i have no problem with the time commitment required to earn the Trimmed Completionist Cape. The only foreseeable obstacle i see to achieve my goal will be making the money to efficiently train my buyables so i can complete my goal in less than 2 years, so if you want to support and help out with that thank you i appreciate it. :) However all my levels and experience will be earned through myself and my time, because in my opinion the size of your irl wallet should not determine how or when you achieve your goal, although everyone has the right to do what they want. I will not be quitting because of this update, and i don't care if Runescape becomes a skeleton of its former self, until the day this game shuts down i will not stop until that Trimmed Completionist Cape is on my (virtual) back. Thank you everyone for your support and good luck with whatever you aspire to achieve in this game and in real life. :)
  10. Tykras’ Road to The Trimmed Completionist Cape Credits to Nava The Goal: To develop from an average player to a Trimmed Completionist Owner in less than 2 years. I have seen posts for regular Completionist Cape goals and Maxing out, however I see the Trimmed Completionist Cape as a unique, amazing achievement in its own right, and I will stop at nothing until I achieve it. I will do this not only for myself but to inspire the Runescape community and show that anything in this game can be achieved if you work for it no matter where you begin. Current Stats Progressively updates as I gain Levels :) Current Progress June 6, 2012 Decided to go for 100 Dungeoneering rather than 85 for 3 binds and a good milestone for my path to 120 in the future, and I achieved 100 Dungeoneering AND obtained a Hexhunter Bow! Screenshot of Bow will be up soon. I also completed Nomad's Requiem, obtaining a useful Soul Wars Cape :] Current plans now involve making money for Prayer and Herblore in order to use Turmoil, SS, and Overloads to achieve 99 Slayer and max all my combat skills through that (including 99 Range for the Hex). End Goal Credits to Nava Skills Plan Regular Completionist Cape Requirements (Non-Stats) Trimmed Completionist Cape Requirements Note: I will be updating this thread as I achieve milestones and make big progress (99s, 120 Dungeoneering, Max Cape, Completionist Cape, Completionist Cape Trimmed, Big loot drops) Donations Closing Statements Note: I can be contacted in-game, my PM is always on :). I can also be contacted here on Tip.it. “Legends are created not born.”
  11. Sorry this is the last time i'm requesting this but i was just learning to effectively post screenshots for my forum post but i got it now so if a forum mod could take it down for me i would appreciate it thanks
