  1. If you're famous, you could get probably get a free leech every once in a while too :P

the legitimate leeching services typically suck (to your advantage).

If your into dungeon leeching look for people advertising a floor in 15 minutes or less otherwise its free. A lot of the time the legit ones end up throwing you free floors quite a bit because they cant consistently hit their advertised time.

  2. You wasted $200 for nothing. Loads of other people have posted their spin logs and you could add it all up together and average out to detemine the approx percentage rates for spins without having to fork out money and do it yourself.

Woot another person who doesn't understand disposable income.

True OP was able and willing to have spent it on runescape, but I do understand the sickened feeling from the bystanders witnessing raw waste research

  3. Sadly, I didn't start playing till summer of 2006 - I don't even recall when I heard about the fally massacre. Still, it does make you wonder if a glitch like that could ever happen again.

already did. Fight pits had an incident where you could kill people in the lobby and they would drop everything (they had one AGAIN since the update).

Plus Storm of Armandyl except it wasn't as legendary due to graves

plus there are half a dozen ways to get the "attack" option out of places but it either does nothing or DC's you now.

  4. I showed up immediately when a friend told me what was going on.

A friend was spamming that I was a "safe house" so that you couldn't get killed, and my nooby level 40 construction house had dozens of people.

Also someone nitro killed themselves and everyone spamming "6666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666"

    First time encountering Jmods

the fally massacre and the aftermath edgeville pvp war after durial got dc'ed.. I never saw edgeville wilderness more crowded before or since.

It was a fun memory indeed. Its truly a wonder I actually was able to witness such a major part of runescape history

  5. Hi,

Firstly, we would like to thank you for your patience and understanding.

Although we were able to accurately identify some of the accounts affected, the nature of the bug meant that much of the data required was absent or skewed - this meant that not all legitimate claims could be honoured and bogus submissions may have been incorrectly processed. As such, we have halted the investigation and can regrettably confirm that we will not be returning any lost items.

Again, we would like to deeply apologise to those that were affected; the outcome has come as an incredible disappointment to all involved. We'll take away all that we've learned from this, and will do everything within our power to ensure that nothing of the sort happens again.

Nothing more was expected. The end.

I used to think that Jagex had a good LoC to bugs ratio in their code, since few breaking bugs ever showed up in their game. However, when it comes to their own investigation tools, it's like watching a freshman Java programmer struggle creating an array.

This is pretty embarrassing for their QA team.

An idiot must have designed the grave system. So many flaws. Not with the increased time t oget back. With the whole way of how they work.

Like I said, Blizzard has much better CS and QA then Jagex, and it shows.

Jagex does a better job then you know, and a worse job the you can imagine.

They do have investigation tools for the real bugs that appear. However they only look out for abusers not victims in their automated systems. Also they have been capable of patching major bugs for a while but choose not to for whatever reason.

The grave flaw in this case is caused by too many items in one location causes the ones on the bottom to delete. Its a flaw written deep into their game engine and not just part of graves although graves are horribly written and have a number of problems directly associated with them.
