Well, not sure if this is the right question but here it goes:

I have to change the setup at home due to some.. issues. My question is.. should I play using Wifi (never done it before) or stay to ethernet cable?

I have never used a wifi connection for playing any game at all, so not really sure how dependable it is?

Problem is in order to keep using ethernet cable i need to use 40 meters of it now, and my wife might kill me if she sees it all over the house :P!

Grotworms are infected as well, had to cancel my task cause it was ridiculous. Frost dragons don't seem to have the bot problem... for now.

I actually had to ban those ...

i had grotworms yesterday and they are actually very doable in +1500 world.. not that many bots.. and they are not that fast you get most of the kills. :)

I'm pretty sure the lack of adventure is due to you having played for years. Your experience makes the newbie content seem dumbed down and redundant. My cousin recently started playing and he was having the time of his life adventuring around the game in his first days.

 

Tldr: nostalgia distorts people's views of the difference between the past and present.

Its all about perspective, when you've played for years you find it noobie and not so exciting. When it is the first time, its the most awesome thing ever.

Boost magic defence because the mages in the KC room bind (so do the rangers actually, and they disable protect prayer). Bring a BoB to carry the loot and bring some cheap fish or EE in case Nex gets a hit in.

Not many options unfortunately. I got 5.5M to spend on ancient robes, plus what I mentioned on the above post.

Which armor would you suggest to run through up to the door?

If you're running through in the ancient robes, it will hurt. Most people wear high defense armor and then pray mage, only swapping to the ancient set to open the door.

Should something happen, do NOT forget to keep your ancient key unless you want to ask people if they can get your stuff. Another strategy to safeguard that is to use an imp box to bank the key before running through.

 

The BOB idea is good advice, I only ended up leaving 1 brew on the ground rather than most of them.

 

Problem is I dont have any, best I can do is helm of neitz/rune pl8/dlegs/dboots/whip-totz or ss

I can kick in an ovl before going in maybe? I got plent of potions

Im really broke so my idea is to run with the ancient set through the room and until the bank there. Reload and wear a set of full rune or something like that with the darts and a tp tablet to get out.

 

I hope everything goes smoothly :P
