    Well considering this is already breaking the rules (bug abuse), might aswell use the double click mouse keys button, which is default + on the number pad for the spam clicking. 

     

    Just for the record, i have heard that this is bannable.

    Ya i dont see whats wrong with them putting the percent to 200m there, they did it for the players who are going for 200ms, not to make more people go for them.  And even if it motivates more players to go for 200ms, that doesnt mean anything.  A player could go for a 200m over weeks or months and play at their own rate.  If anything its just adding more goals and fun stuff for a player to look forward to working towards, i dont see a problem with this update at all.  It is a small nice feature for those of us who go for 200ms or high xp

    then don't read them, let people have their discussions as long as it doesn't drift too heavily off topic. This thread is not here to fulfill every need you demand.

    Thanks for the ripclan thing, but i just have to say im not asking for everyone to fulfill every need i demand, its just this has gone on long enough and for the sake of the thread i think its a good idea to wrap it up.

    Honestly this argument is going no where, we all know that people will do what they want, regardless if you agree with them or not.  Even if they regret its not your problem, and if they dont regret it its not your place to tell them they wasted their time.  Its just a game, play as much as you, sacrifice as much as you want and just live with the decisions you make its fine.

    Ya maybe, i can see that.  Im pretty sure suomi said he has no regrets, and if some1 can look at it from the perspective of they enjoyed that time then they wouldnt, but i can understand where your coming from.

    Anyway, back on topic

     

    Can we get a time to 200m all update for Alkan, Dragonseance, Jdel, and i guess throw Geel in there for good measure even though he will be 3rd to 200m all

    Well the whole point of something productive is something that will make you happy, because at the end of the day thats what any decision is trying to accomplish, so having a hobby and having goals that make you happy to wake up in the morning and look forward to the next day at night is already accomplishing that end goal of making you happy.  I think that it is important to make sure you have something like this to make every day good, rather than always try and be productive for the future, however if your goals involve doing something else with your free time and that makes you just as happy as someone else playing runescape, then do that.

     

    At the end of the day everyone is just trying to be as happy as possible, so it doesnt matter how you accomplish that goal

    Basically, people do what makes them happy and fulfilled in life is what gemeos is saying.  if you think that someone else's lifestyle would make you unhappy then you don't have to take part in it, but that does not mean that they have the same opinion of what they like, what is right and wrong.

     

    For me, someone who plays a lot but also lives a balanced life (not always because i want to i live with my parents and they keep me busy, I'm 17), i would say that at this point in my life i enjoy gaming the most on my free time and especially rs.  For me, i know my priorities, i am healthy, i do well in school, i have healthy relationships with friends, etc, and i can maintain playing 6-12 hours a day year round.  I have gotten my computer taken away, and i tried to do other things and i did not enjoy them as much.  I fill my time with rs because this is what I WANT TO DO. The thing is, everyone has different priorities, and different skill sets.

     

    Dragonseance for example has graduated college with a double major with honors while maintaining a top rank.  Alkan was a varsity football and rugby player during high school and he graduated.  He still takes time out every day to go to the gym with friends, while also playing a lot.

     

    Everyone is different and i think that it is completely unfair to judge someone based on their life style choices, especially if those choices don't directly negatively effect you.

    Well i would say that even though they might not enjoy it all, that is part of what makes it rewarding.  Achieving something you want and persevering through it.  I guess its like trying to build muscle or lose weight, doing cardio or lifting weights is done because its part of what you need to do to achieve your goal and feel that sense of accomplishment.

     

    Also, while part of the good feeling of getting a good rank or a 200m is recognition and the joy of competing, i think that in some sense, at least for me, being able to make progress towards a goal and have something to look forward to and be motivated to do and be proud of is also a big factor.  Anything you can watch progress in and see your work pay off is always a good feeling, so it is a combination of the both that makes skilling so much fun, at least in my own opinion i can not speak for all players

    Alkan has fished rocktails, but in terms of hours remaining alkan and dragonseance are neck and neck, depending on the calc they are within like 100 hours of eachother.  So ya i would say they are close.  Alkan could do c2 as well or wait for elf city and see what difference that makes.  And also, alkan has been playing more than dragonseance lately so i do think that 4th place is between those two or jdel and i believe it could be close

    So Geel will most likely be rank 3 to 200m all skills, that leaves rank 4 to Jdel, Alkan, or Dseance.  I think Jdel is going a bit slow to compete with them but who knows, Alkan and Dseance are about neck and neck atm

    I would say do mostly free skills to 99 and see where your money is, then do some stuff like slayer to get combats up and whatever you have left for combat, do the melee at frosts cuz they are amazing gp/hr and xp/hr, and mage at glacors for xp, gp, and charms.  range can be done however but waterfiends arent a bad idea.

     

    But ya just training free skills usually somehow accumulates wealth.  also it will give you time to find methods you enjoy or are good at and you can then set goals based on that.  Its hard to say best money making when maxing because there are a lot more factors when you dont have 99 all and a large cash stack.  Even training wcing before you c2ing you will accumulate some money from birds nests, farming herbs is still decent money at any level.  so ya there are ways it just depends on stats and supplies
