Took like maybe 15 kills to get magic shard. Don't know if I'm lucky or they really are just that easy to get.

Anybody have tips for killing spiritual mages? Now that prayer no longer completely blocks damage I'm not sure how to kill them for slayer. I tried killing with Karil's, duel Rune Xbows, addy bolts, and protect from ranged prayer. Still taking massive amounts of damage. With a full load of monks I only mages to kill around 10 before I ran out of food. Was taking damage faster than I could deal it. Anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I haven't played RS much in the past few years and just started again. Got a task for black dragons and was going to range them with Emerald Bolts and a Rune crossbow. When I try to attack it says my Weapon is not high enough to fire the ammunition. What bow do I have to have for these bolts?
