  1. I've never had less than 5 herbs from any supercomposted patch, including Trollheim. Disease does not affect harvest only growth time.

     

    The average herbs/patch before juju was 6.6-6.7 depending who you asked, so about 9 with juju, maybe a little less. Trollheim would average about 7.4-7.5 pre-juju, so about 10 after. Total of around 46 herbs per run plus around half a seed.

     

    I've 100% gotten less then 5 from a trollheim patch and I've always used supercompost.

    I pretty much farmed exclusively on herbs (did allotments and stuff when I first started out - but ever since ranaars, it's pretty much only been herbs/quests)

     

    I've done herbs exclusively (not inc quests) to 82 farming. Never ever gotten any less then 5 from using super compost. Since ive started using juju's my average for 1200 snap seeds has been 9.1 per seed.

    You can grow torstols if you boost your farm level, yes.

     

    And growing torstols = $$$$$

     

    They're not as good as they used to be.

    Also, the BXP price changes have made them pretty bad for money making.

     

    I usually do lantadymes (pretty good gp - comparable to snapdragons)

    Unless I'm doing something where I can remote farm and check that I can cure all my plots.

    These past week or so - I've been checking torstols prices and they're about 7.2- ~8 torstol per seed (cost wise)

    Meaning if you get to lose even one seed, you might have a negative return (40 herbs in 5 patches?)

     

    The scroll of life is a nice surprise, but I doubt it activates 1/10 times.

     

    Probably alot safer only growing torstols in trollheim atm, untill prices return to 6-7 torstol p/seed.

  4. Im in a similar boat to OP

     

    Using 10k mahogany planks from 73-86/7

     

    I'm pretty sure building saves money+time, rather then flatpacking seeming to save money, but uses more money then building because of being slower/lower xp modifier/using more planks overall. If not, it comes pretty close over a 5hr+ period.

  5. Can someone spill the beans a bit? I have no clue what you're referring to. Which skills can you boost +10?

     

    Apparently, Agility and Summoning. Assuming you're in a clan that has certain things on the battlefield.

     

    Finally a tangible benefit of being in a clan.

     

    Might be time to start looking for one :o

  6. When dust devils first came out, there weren't many options for camping/full tasking down there. Now there's a million easier and better ways to heal, lots of higher tier gear/potions/food/prayers and dusties in a safe non smoke dungeon location. 90-100 combat on monsters isn't what it used to be.

  7. The jadinko lair is also a nice option to get seeds. Since it came out, I only hunt for secondaries in the habitat :)

    If you choose to slay the mutated jadinko males (91 slay), they drop a ton of elite clues and you point cap yourself rather quickly. Great for people who only want a certain type of juju potion ;ie farming.

  8. The RoW does infact increase clue drop chances, however not for effigies.

     

    Of the last ~15 elite clues I've gotten from the male jadinkos, the 'your ring of wealth shines brightly' has occured on every drop. Never with effigies though.

     

    It's been like this since the RoW update.

  9. It was just while training a pure, I came across 11 effigies. I wasn't clear if there was an issue with assisting to open them as it's no different to getting someone else to open them.

     

    I'm sorry the questions weren't worded well, but the replies have helped so far.

  10. I know dual accounts are not meant to interact with each other. However would it be against the rules for a main account to assist/open effigies for the side/alt account?

     

    Then taking it one step further, would it be against the rules to have another account farming effigies for the sole purpose of getting the main account to open them?
