Sir if you look into the specified score summary. You will see the "Healed points" If you heal more, you get more points. Go figure =)

Honestly speaking, how many people who are that high of a level are honestly good tactics-wise? Other than the deviants that exist in any stereotype, combat levels are more often a show of time spent than I.Q. Also, call me a newb, but in the 1st (and only ) wave I've managed to play (I was a healer) nobody but the attacker was attacked, that I saw. As such, why is this game given a 100+ label, regardless of role? Surely this is a game decided more by your ability to strategize than your ability to go in and annihalate everything. As long as there is a good healer (or two) this scenario could have been avoided. Also, the more reliable way of utilizing a level 60 would be to give it a more noncombat oriented role, such as collector or defender, no reason to be prejudiced of all low levels because of the "noob" stereotype of the majority of them. In conclusion, all of these arguments are purely theoretical, derived from my little experience and extensive "research" (comprised of the manual, tutorial, and two days of browsing forums) as such, I am entirely open to intelligent debate/corrections to any my points. Regardless of my disagreement of a few points in this, I feel it was quite well-written, congratulations :) It IS well written actually I dont want to argue with a pro right now since i m busy attaining PC. Lol, true story. Me and a lvl 112 were with a buncha lvl 70s And the 112 were healer and complaining about how the 70s were not giving him the commands. Then he started cursing like a mofo. Actually all the lvl 70s were mods. Dont know what happened to him :-k

2 healer or 2 defenders. Never 2 collectors. Because one collector will be just doing nothing.

You know, i m glad my thread is contradictory. Because this game is not perfect. Argument derives opinions, opinions will make improvements. Game does take a while to do. Jagex released this on a hurry, I bet we will be seeing fixes over the week.

So agreed. Again i m not saying you HAVE to be 100+ I m just saying normally 100+ player would be the ones reading the guides and knows whats going on. Risking with a low level player? Your choice Do it on the first several waves, usually take lvl 90+ on wave 6+

he must be a sharp lad. Most healers we get never blow their horn. Making defender job very hard.

Thanks for enjoying this. I thought i was gonna get flamed horriblely. - Counting out the waiting time, maybe no more than an hour. Queen wave COULD take more than 20 minutes if your defender is horrible. We had to redo the queen wave for 5 times because all the defenders(We boot one in every queen wave we did because they were ALL horrible) were bad. So I became a defender on the queen wave, took one for the team. Got rid of the runner in less than 30 seconds (1 m t3h l337zor?) . If you are with a high lvl team, say 100+. Doesnt take that long. 1 hour max. - Again, find friends when you do it. Because gathering a team takes time.

Thats all - I am the first among several my friends that first started doing Barbarian Assualt[will be abbr. into BA from now on]. I m not here to give you repeated information, i m not here to rant about random crap. But here is my impression of BA. ...:::I AM A SEPARATOR:::... Speed [2/10] This is a pain in the [wagon]. By speed i mean the pace of JOINING a game. I counted about 2 hours wasted just by finding a team, as a lvl 3 attacker :oops: i can say its fairly easy for me to find a team. But when i first started, wow. 45 minutes to assemble a team, then our defender on the team have no clue what to do. So we all had to quit the game after 20 minutes into the game (That was on 8th wave). Don't even bother with the random room. All you get is NEWBs. N33b. Most of them dont even bother reading the tutorial, they will just quit in middle of a game. Tip: FIND 4 FRIENDS. Find your friends, that you trust, that is willing to dedicate 30min - 2 hours of their time, doing 10 waves and get to the queen. OR find people with lvl 2+ skill levels, you can bet on those people that they know what they are doing. ...:::I AM A SEPARATOR:::... GamePlay [6/10] a. Fun [8/10] This game is definitely fun. Watching things like t3h floods(Runners. Jagex is so dead, BUNGIE SUE THEM NOW!!!) in Halo getting chopped by a double blade is absolutely fun. Eggers(collectors, or everybody else should i say) can enjoy the egg launcher for sure. Come on guys, shooting random monsters with colorful eggs, isnt that old-school? Attackers? Well maybe its time for those 99 str people to see some new whip high-hits. With the 5+ damage bonus on weapons, 50s are possible(Although prayer is disabled-.-) Healers, well healer aint that exciting but its definitely the easiest things (or hardest, in 10th wave) to do in the game. You just heal people and posion things. Thats all. b. Gameplay Enjoy-a-bility [-10/10] I made the above comments based on a pleasurable game. I have to conclude 50% of my games is filled with NEWBs that dont know how to play. I cant tell you the fact how annoying it is when people dont shout your commands. /-- [side story] One time i recruited 4 player mods, and then they all didnt know what to do. One guy told me "Why am i shouting worms when it says tofu?". Well mr.mod please remember you have to right click the horn to select an option, its NOT automated. --/ Basically, this game is filled with newbs right now, we could expect some improvement in this after a while. c. Gameplay Flaws. [10/10] (Meaning VERY flawed.) [1.] Defender [a] Runners Okay i m speaking for all defenders out there. Come on. Runners are hard(They are not so hard on the queen wave since they just walk up to the blade as their default waypoint. On other levels they tend to walk between the 2 eggers) The food's range? It's horrible, you cant even guarantee the range of a food. Jagex claim lvl 2 defender gets a 5 range food? Well the runner wont even mind if its right next to them. Blades Blades, 2 time use? Then i have to fix it with a hammer and some wood? How do i fix a metal mechanism with wood and a hammer in 5 second? Enough sarcasm. Seriously, 2 uses, maybe try 5. Don't tell me 2 is enough for the last wave. Because 10 runners come to you at the same time and its really hard to get rid of them all with 2 uses. When you try to get the hammer and wood to fix it? The runners are LOOONNNNGGGG gone. Your teamates just watch their 10 points going down the drain. [c] Food I say, the food is laggy. This is sentence contradicts most law of nature, but it is laggy, fo sho. When you lay a track of food, suddenly the bait changes. w00t? They the runners will go BLAUGHG and dashes into the cave. Another 10 points. Gone. [2.] Attacker [a.] Experience. Nada. For all you high-lvl dumbesters out there watching yourself hitting 30s constantly and going wow i m going to get that 99 strength soon! Wrong. You dont get any experience at all. 0. Zero. Nada. No experience points at all. For attackers, you get to waste your barrow armor's durability in order to kill things, you get no experience points at all. You get no experience. Dont expect a miraculous deed. [b.] Damage bonus Jagex, maybe try like 10 damage bonus for lvl 5 instead of 5 damage bonus? Since we get no exp at all, 5 bonus damage isnt that much. [c.] "Attacker Failed Attacks" For you paranoid people going w00t why t3h h3ll 4m 1 0n1y g3tt1ng 0 points f0 this game? Blame it on your attackers(No actually, dont.) If you look into the detailed game summary, you see the attacker "failed attacks". After some observation, that bascially means the time they hit 0's. Now normally, if they are on the RIGHT attack mode (aggressive, control...), they will hit more than 0 because of the bonus. (I m a genius \ ) But onto the real problem, you cannot guarantee the right hit all the time, because when the attacks change, you cannot make sure you stop attacking instantly. That means you have to hit a lot of 0's. Plus the collector wont tell you the new attack mode ASAP, that means for 10 seconds you are left with no ability to attack back. No here's the thing, for me i would just take out my d scimitar (Drop the whip Scotty), and try every mode. One will work eventually. But if you do that. Well you can just watch your team's points go down. My suggestion?Eliminate this scoring - [3.] Healer/Collector I have to say healer and collector have a great system. They dont really do that much. So yeah. As long as your level is high enough (100+) with good armor (280+ defense), you are all set. For all you lvl 60- complaining out there. Sorry bros, this is not a game for low levels :ohnoes: [4.] Misc Bugs/Rants a. Big Horn (Glory Horn?) Wow, this is a piece of foogoo. No kidding, piece of [cabbage]. For you guys dont know what it is, its that big horn in the corner that everyone can use. And you can use it to call out ALL the commands(Not at the same time though) with. So if one of your teammate has brain problem, you can run to this thing and blow it. That's what its suppose to do. When i try to use it, the interface pops up. Then BAM, it disappears! I cannot even tell which option i should press because i dont get enough time (like 2/3 of a second) But if you realize this, after i successfully use it. My GAME interface is gone. Like when you are in a random event(Mime.) You dont get to use your inventory. I m only left with the friend button, and the logout button. Its bugged alright. Kids, avoid this like SARS. b. Player caused issue. A game could end ASAP when someone exits. So all the work you done in a wave is wasted. This is not fair. To change this? You should be able to change job inside a game, if someone quits. You could do the job for them. So you wont have to discard all the precious work you've done. Now sometimes people dont quit on purpose, they lag off, or have a power shortage. So for dial-uppers? Wow, they game gets really laggy. I m not kidding I use to have dial up, and i did the Fight Cave (for fire cape) thing, it didnt lag at all. But this game? It lags. ...:::I AM t3h SEP4R4T0r?:::... Conclusion Overall score: [5/10] Crappy game play, even worse rewards. D chain? Probably a hoax. Look at the other thread of rewards, most people get like rune pickaxe or some arrows. Nothing good at all. 500 points takes hours to get, and the rewards definitely is not worth it. Gamble? No, you are giving your free time to Jagex. Get the granite body if you can. Kill queen + 95k. Its worth it - Noob problem is definitely noticeable. Low levels couldnt even play this game( I would love you to prove me wrong ). Recommended level? 100+. Not kidding. We picked a level 60 attacker one time, wow that was a pain. Watching him dying on the last Peanace fighter when we were all done? Not fun. People dont know how to play this game? Well please read the tutorial. Help save the world, one player at a time. Jagex done a great job at the tutorial things. It's actually very textually/graphically rich. It's no worse than a tipit/runehq guide. Trust me. - Play the game, have fun. You want experience? Go PC, this game is not the experience monster you looking for. But why do i play this game when i could be making millions? This minigame is what a MMORPG all about: Friends. I met so many friends (Mods :-$ ) over the last several hours, and i will be continually meeting new people.
