Everyone's is similar. :roll: Dude asked for a very particular scene. Chickennoodles' looks wonderful. I see lots of talent in him/her. (Just fill the white part of the shark's eye with black, because it shouldn't be white at all...).

Well, I have to say that compared to everything else in the sig and your current, the shark really looks traced. *shakes head* Don't see what could have taken that long, but I guess it looks good.

Hmm, I don't like the people. They look chunky and clunky. Just as if they were quickly drawn as an afterthought. The kalphites look great. Gorgeous color and decent shading. The background is bleh. It's nice, but I've seen better from you. ;)

I know I'm not very active as posts go, but I've been browsing this forum for a long time...always thought the best artists resided here (among the runescape related forums...). So I'll put my bit in. 1. Has the quality declined? That's the funny thing. People come, people go, so quality is such a fluid thing that it's hard to tell. What is quality to one group of people, isn't to another. I'm going to have to say that because of all the first timers emerging, that yes, percentage-wise the quality is pretty low right now. I'm kinda sick of seeing all this ugly work. Sorry to sound so rude, but yes...ugly. 2. Is the pixel trend positive? Only positive in the sense that it's kind of 'separating the men from the mice." Again, I don't mean to sound rude or mean, but if you can't draw on paper, there's no way in hell you can draw on the computer. Even if you *can* draw on paper, there's a chance you will absolutely stink at digital painting/sketching. I'm all for artistic blossoming, but if you try something, it blows, and you keep trying and your stuff still blows...get over it and move on. We can't be good at *everything*. Stop assaulting my retinas with your ten minute jobbers! :P 3. What keeps people coming back? Like I said, I still believe the best artists reside here, even if they're being tsunamied by all the n33bs trying their hands. 4. How many rate my whatever posts are too many? Meh. It's hard to say, and be fair about it. Depends on my mood. I've been reading this post for a couple days now, but didn't feel like posting. This morning I just felt like I should say something. But, in general, I like posts like this, where we can calmly discuss things. But I know someone will screw it up and get it locked. Chaos is only two steps away from every thread. 6. For those who have left , cut back activity or are considering it, why? Ask those people doing the *ugly ten minute jobbers*...they know the answer. And they're guarding it like a hobo who robbed a beer truck. ^_^

I think it looks very nice. When I did my cartoony ones I stayed away from a background, because I found I didn't have the patience to vector a background that looked halfway decent. :P It looks like my stuff in the sense that it's cartoony (as in saying that the snorks look like the smurfs :P)...but that's about where it ends. Completely different style. As I said: Looks very nice. Hope to see more of 'em.

I kind of agree with Nadril. The colors are very faded. Look at Nadril's sig, contrast is a beautiful thing, and yours is somewhat lacking it. Pure colors are always nicer to look at, and if you feel you absolutely must have a 'mist' effect, brush it on with a low opacity soft brush yourself. You'll feel more proud that way. So in short: You need contrast. ;)

Oh, didn't mean to assume you were in. My apologies. :oops: I don't really know what Kyle's talking about. :P The only animation I've ever put in my pixel sigs is the one that it's in my current right now. ;)
