  1. I've got probably 40k nats, but that method is as slow as Christmas! I don't care to get my smithing up right now. I never intended to smith rune, but now that I'm right there, I might as well. I always thought smithing was the way to make money. Now that I've bought my way into decent smithing, I realize that's nothing without a mining foundation. #-o
  2. What's the fastest way to get my mining up? I'm only 71 now, but want to reach 85. I don't care to power mine because I loathe extra clicks. Surely there's a faster way than the coal mine.
  3. Reading your blog, I'm guessing you suggest essence for the quickest way to mine? I've never considered that.
  4. Good thing they have so many people moderating this forum. :?
  5. Sigh. Mining is my least favorite part of this game. Scratch that, runecrafting is. But mining is BORING.
  6. I'll soon have 85 smithing (after I smith a load of mith bars that I bought). This will put me in the position of being able to smith something I'm nowhere near being able to mine. Is there anyone out there with the opposite problem and would like to work with me? I don't even know if that's possible with the trade limits. Any suggestions other than to start mining my life away?
  7. I tried giving some lobsters to some low level guys training in the desert with the guard brothers or whatever. I was going to give them 100 each, but with the trade thing, I could only give FOURTEEN. And I am quitting. I just can't give my stuff away now. Talk about a TOTAL waste.
  8. I never realized how charitable I was until this garbage change was put into effect. I constantly give away whatever skill I'm working on at the moment. I give food when I'm cooking, armor when I'm smithing and random stuff in between if someone makes me laugh. All that is gone now, and it just doesn't feel like the same game to me. I know, I could just keep on playing, but part of my getting better was so that I could share that higher skill with others. It almost feels like I'm playing the entire game with NPCs now. I'm glad I was able to give away one of my santa hats before Christmas while I still could. It was the last good thing I could do in the game.
  9. Base it on combat or something similar. Nice input, "owned" guy.
  10. Ok, tell me if this would work. Limit the aid given from a lower ranked player to one of higher rank. I can still give away free armor to people as gifts, but I can't receive anything outside the trade limitation from someone lower than me. This will keep lvl 3 traders from giving back.
  11. And what about contests? Lotteries? Both gone. And people who quit and either have a drop party or give their items away as gifts? It's crazy that it has to stop.
  12. I just wish they would extend the amount of the difference by at least 100k. I frequently give gifts of armor to people as I'm smithing just because I can afford it. I won't be able to do that anymore? You're kidding! Also, I've lowered the price of something I was selling by far to get it faster, also paid more to have it quick. It just seems that in effort to combat real world trading, which I agree is a problem, they are making the game a solitary game. Clans are less useful. Friends aren't able to help friends. It's just like you're playing by yourself now.
  13. And the fastest runecrafting to do?
  14. I'm f2p for life and approaching the 950 skill mark. What is the best way for me to reach 1000? (See sidebar link for my skills.) I'm assuming runecrafting will be first, so I can jump at least 20 lvls pretty quick. Assuming that, what is the fastest f2p rune to lvl up? Then what until 1k?
  15. zubeedoo, you put it exactly like I was thinking it. To me, Jagex took control of the prices. That isn't something that can be debated. Market forces decide price? Prove it. Yeah, they want to keep it fair. People have earned what they have and deserve the opportunity to get a return on their purchase. It isn't stealing the rare, it's buying it and not selling it into the market again. No one notices, and even if they did, the GE controls the price.
  16. The GE controls the prices now. Yeah, they say it's affected by the buy price, but how are we to know that.
  17. How many of you have bought or sold discontinued items to the Grand Exchange? Was it easy to sell but you never can buy? Maybe this is a way for Jagex to rid the game of the discontinued items. It pays fair price to anyone selling them, but not to an actual buyer. Jagex deletes the item.
  18. Sorry. I've recently been through a bunch of stuff. I apologize.
  19. Dude, go look at it before you post. Good grief.
  20. Go to the high score table and search by rank. Search for 15000. Why is that that everyone 14999 and above have far fewer exp points and one higher total skill point?
  21. I see so many questions in this thread about rares and discontinued items, I think it would help. (Recent thread selling pumpkin is answered by someone questioning whether it is even able to be traded.) http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?p ... areholiday
  22. I know it's normal to only add criticism to ideas in this forum, but I really don't see how you can say there will be high-level spamming. Have you ever seen high-level people spamming? And if you did, do you really think they're going to pay 1k EACH time to do so? I just don't see it. I see most people avoiding this server most of the time.
  23. The way I imagined was that when you sign in, a God (or similar character) appears and requires you to pay him a fare to enter the land. If you log out, you have to repay to get in. It really wouldn't be a server for a casual around-the-room player. It would be for serious business or training. You could probably even catch fish without all the bots there.
  24. I always get tired of noobs following me around begging for money and I thought it would be a good idea for a server reserved for people at a certain level, then I thought it might not be fair. So I thought maybe there could be a server that charges you like 1k gold to log into that world. That would definitely dissuade people from going there to beg.
  25. Do you make runescape sigs for money?
