but yeah, im glad you like it, and that mage and logs thing, its ment to be a guy fletching o0 lol.
i do put effort into my work, that way it becomes more of a part of me, and so a section of my life is placed entirly in a piece of work. however i have been putting alot of effort into my 2 latest thing, which you probably wont see untill next year. the reason why theres more effort, well they have a background which is fully dithered , but im only about half way through each one (its like one of my fiorst times of doing proper dithering)
*sigh*
but good news is, i just broke up for christmas holidays so ima have more spear time, that said im going out to a friends very soon, tommoro im meeting my grandad halfway up the country like all day, thurs and friday ima probably going into work, and well theres quite a bit on, and on top of all that theres school work, so yeah, despite alot less time in school i may be spending less time pixeling than normaly >_<

it could look better is a kind way of putting it, sorry. the images are very pixelated, and blurry, the bending isnt very good the background is well, monotone blur with a light flare. it looks like a fairly bad quality jpeg.

i remember number 11 for a long time back, big comp wasnt it, like 20mill? infact i think i still have an awsome entry for it hidden somewhere in my systems.... (not mine, and no i didnt rip, just saved it cos it was really cool)
i agree with ter, you put alot of detail into your works, and it shows really well, they look very nice
be sure to post more as and when =)

looks like you need to neaten up your lines a bit, dont have any pixels next to each other, all new lines shouldnt directly touch, only on the corners, it looks alot better that way.
the moon is a bit too wide....
to to sure what to say about the grass, however it may be an idea to dither it.
the tree isnt too bad, but one of the roots go out too long
the water looks too blue, water is clear, also lower the sat, to do that bring the colour picker into the greys

hmm, well, i have been doing quite alot of stuffs but theyre taking a while (both have backgrounds) and theyre both for comps, and i dont like posting sampled stuff, so yeah, it may be a while before you see any >_<
however im also toying with a bronze bust kinda thing, the coloursceme is rather anoying me tho, so ill have to nick one from somebody....

are we forgetting what a pixel is? it isnt an image made in paint, no no!
a pixel can be made in photoshop, paint shop pro, anything as long as you can place each pixel one by one, in creating the steam you are doing exactly that. you simple use other features in more advanced programs so its easyier to do. its still a pixel, you still pixeled it all, then you used an aspect of another more advanced program to get the desired effect. its not like your blurring it, nor are you brushing, auto AAing or dithering, its still a piece that you pixeled. therefore it is still a pixel, just more clear.

how is it brushed? you pixel it all like a normal image, you just lower the opacity of it, its still pixeled. thats kinda like saying transparent parts in a pixel sig makes then brushed, even tho its still all pixeled....

to make clear steam its simple enought, op[en your pixeling program, make it opaque and do all of the details then go in ps (unless your already there) and set as new layer with low opacity.

i just saw the username and was like! oh my gosh! hes back! wow! all the decent pixeliers are returning! its like so totaly cool!
it looks awsome, and i must say ive always loved your style.

argh! please please change that sky colour! go for something about halfway down, nearing the greener section, while still in the blue. kinda runeite like, but more SKY blue... if you get me...
the penguin looks cool =)
the guy has insanly small feet, and the skirt is way too tight, have a loose skirt, with it peaked over the feet and draped in the middle, will look far better.
you may also consider making the hood a seperate item, it may work better, but yeah, just a sugestion. also make the hood thinner.
clean up the lines of the tree so its more like those of the rest of the scene.

are we gonna have several rounds going on at the same time else tyhis will take years.....

so for example all of the first rounds happening at once and we [the judges] pick our fav of the 2 from each 'battle' then we go on to the next round and so on, so everyone is pixeling at once (with room for changes in the scuedle if people arnt free or whatever) so 5 day limit and like 2 weeks for the first rounds or whatever.

i love it, great job, the only thing that could posably look better is the mouth, it looks like it needs some AAing
i did a quick edit, only needed to change 1 px in the mouth and i feel i improved the nose, with 2 extra pixels
>_< just did 4x now cant change it back easily, yea, im lazy, but im sure you can see....
must say tho, it looks amazing and has been great to see you improve =)
my work here is done, for now.... *swings cape around encapsulating body before diving off into the night*

sorry, im too busy atm to make you anything, christmas is a busy time of year, but i can cc for you =)
firstly use the linetool not the pencil tool when drawing lines, its far neater. the skin colour is very, well, yellowy green o0 fine if its a person of oriental origin, but normaly people have a light orange skin tone, fairly high up to start with, then for each shade as you do darker also go greyer, looks far better than at the same saturation. ill do a quick edit, shopw you what i mean.
that shows both versions, mine and yours, and i added all the shades needed for the main colours =)
that said dont copy mine, you wont learn anything, rather use it as a guide, better still use real life as a guid, and draw what you see and how you see it.
oh another note, im sorry i havt been around very much as of recent, well, not am much as normaly, i do try and check once a day, butr recently its only been for 5 mins of so #-o

coulkd you post a screenie or even better a vid of the problem? (google hypercam for screen videoing)
one problem i can think of is that you dragged the image off the visable screen area, all but a 1px edge, look very carefuly around the edges for it, and toggle it on and off looking for very slight movments.... o0
just try it, if that dont work then install hypercam and video it for me to analise.

its good too see you back, and i see your still pixeling well.
like others im not to sure on the hole in the chest, but then thats just you....
i am liking how its turning out and it'll be good to see how it ends up.
