  1. w00t, first post in ages that wasnt about paintings ^^
  2. not all people are that brilliant, and this can also be applied to rule breakers such as swearing, ect.
  3. icy lemonade: well you would need 5 reports, so after scamming five people, he would get the skull (assuming jagex sees the reports). so we would get to kill him anyway  . I'll try to think of a better solution though  . against me: you cant put an item back in the inventory if it is not in his possesion i guess. (and once again we would still get to kill him  ) thunderg sid: those random four people can't report a guy for something they didnt see.
  4. although, isnt the scammer getting rich unfairly by scamming the phat :?:
  5. well, the if the scammers got a skull, they would log in with the inventory that they had whilst scamming. although u bring up a good point with the phat situation.
  6. the angels and demons would have to require a higher prayer level...maybe 50-70. like the ideas though, but I dont know how the game would be able to support the vulture idea :? too much memory
  7. jagex decides whether or not he gets a skull, therefore you cant just report random people. read number 2 :)
  8. ya. thanks for the feedback
  9. i like this idea. if members are mages but have to fight a clan war in f2p, they have very little protection.
  10. in order to stop scamming in rs (which is prevalent everywhere now), I have come up with what I think is an idea that is an afront to God. Here it is *drum roll* we get to kill the scammers :D ....everyone can attack them, but of course this can be abused so there are some requirements. 1. at least five people have to report the scammer. 2. If Jagex sees these reports, they can decide whether or not to have them be killed by others. 3. If Jagex decides to punish them, the scammer would get a black skull over his head for 24 hours of time PLAYED (not 24 hours while logged off  ) 4. to punish the scammer even more, the scammers inventory would be kept as it was when he committed the scam, therefore stopping him from banking his items. :D If you detect a flaw, think its stupid :wall: , like it, or have any other comments, go ahead and post. (be nice though) :)
  11. it wont be fair because members are members to get those extra features. Think of f2p as a demo game for the real thing. I am f2p btw so you cant stick me with a members own all attitude.
  12. I want to keep my santa  . This is one problem associated with this. not all players buy rares for merchanting.
  13. if there less in circulation, then the price will obviously go up
  14. When the barrows first came out, who set the price for them? Same with other items...how are the prices set? merchants would be my guess.
  15. Yes, I trust level 120+ more than level 5-. I trust level 3's and then anyone over 70. People that are inbetween tend to be the scammers and poor folk who can think of nothing better to do but scam. Many people create level 3 characters to be the best level 3...i saw miner I the other day...he's amazing.
  16. Some users can undergo bad effects from marijuana. They may suffer sudden feelings of anxiety and have paranoid thoughts. This is more likely to happen when a more potent variety of marijuana is used. The short-term effects of marijuana include: 1. problems with memory and learning 2. distorted perception (sights, sounds, time, touch) (6); 3. trouble with thinking and problemsolving (5); 4. loss of motor coordination; and 5. increased heart rate. (and this is just one example) ALL drugs are bad, in NO way can a drug be good (unless its a perscription drug) MMORPG's can be beneficial, as many people that have posted here have pointed out.
  17. and im saying that I believe someone with a very high level has more respect than a person who traded items to get a phat. Millions can be made in a few weeks. High levels take a lot of time and committment
  18. 1 flaw, how would saradomin and zamorak fare being together?
  19. this game is based in the middle ages...just to inform ppl.
  20. this is the law of probabilities. If an ore has a 50% chance of being smelted into a bar, that percentage does not increase after each ore. Each ore still has a 50% chance. If you only get 5/28, then the coin flipped the wrong way for you...a lot
  21. I have more respect when standing next to a level 120+ character than I do when standing next to a low lvl merchant with a hat.
  22. good point
  23. You know you have been playing runescape too long when you refer real money as "gp" (btw, why is this topic a sticky?)
  24. i was trying to point out how bad the rs forums can get...in a humorous sorta way. it didnt work obviously.
  25. how was stating the fact that stealing from the stalls spam? I think posting about someone's grammar is more spam worthy than an actual response
