prices in phats, santas, and masks all rose waaay too quickly. it's only a matter of time before they drop again...in fact, santas and masks are already beginning to drop. Pretty soon, party hats will too. Just give it time. Everything seems to have a way of balancing itself out.

coal certs were 1k each in classic. When a merchant has nothing to merchant except for raw materials then the supply will go down drastically. Unlike rares, bulk coal takes many days to collect, as does every other item. If a merchant buys hundreds of thousands of raw items that most players need, then the demand will be high. The demand is always high if you have not noticed yet, but these raw materials are at a set price range because there is enough supply. Why is there enough supply? Because merchants do not have to hoard up on these in order to gain profit. Unlike you and your numorous posts (must I provide links :roll: ), I do think out my posts. I'm not going to respond to anymore of your lame arguments because i am sick of repeating myself over and over to you.

When you type full words for everything in runescape, everything is not always legible. This is because your sentence only stays visible on the screen for a few moments. i'm with zorno 100%. To put it plain and simple, these amulets would not work. They practically make the three clases pointless. (Why do I feel as if I am stated the previously said :roll: )

in game when answers and other stuff needs to be displayed rather quickly, shortening words helps out a lot. Not everyone can type at a rate of ten quad billion words per second :wink:

i garantee you that no one except for newbs buy stuff from the general stores and shops. Then what do all these merchants with hundreds of millions do with their cash now? I can tell you. They stock up on every rune. Every bar. Every log. All to get a profit because their great way of merchanting has been taken away. Then what happens when the supply is a hell of a lot less than the demand? The prices will sky rocket. You don't give the impression of being a rich character so I'm sure that you would dislike buying one coal for over 1k.

first off, no. merchants are not the cause of party hat prices. If a buyer wants to spend an excessive amount of gp on a hat, then that is his fault. secondly, most of the good merchants are in late teens/adult years. the 8-13 year olds are the ones going around begging to become rich. That's right. I know for a fact that everyone of you posters on page 9 above this has wanted to be rich at one point in time. I think you're all a bit hipocritical. Thirdly, runescape is a game. Spending millions of gp in this game does not worry me. Whereas spending a few hundred bucks in real life would have me rethinking my purchase to make sure it is worthwhile. Because of the fact that it is a game, spending big gp to get an item has no effect on you in real life. To even suggest punching someone in the face because they play a game is a bit stupid. I'm almost positive that you play runescape as well.

i guess you are right, buy if you read the whole thread you would understand that the thread mainly isnt about that. you want more arrows because "theifs" takes them, that way arrow will be gone once fired and "theifs" gets nothing... well since theres no arrows theifs in RS, this problem doesnt exist, no point in fixing things that arnt broken first off, its theives. not theifs. secondly, arrow takers are a problem. There is no timer above the arrows that you fire. Therefore, you can't tell when they are visible to others, and most rangers don't want to waste more time running after their arrows every second. Another thing, arrows cost money to buy..expecially in f2p where we can't make our own. Now a normal civil human being would return an item that they know they did not pay for. But wait. I'm talking about runescape where we only have greedy little loud mouth [puncture]s. I agree. something has to be done.

I'd love to disagree with you, so i will. you can actually gain money from high alching. all you need is the lovely skill they call fletching. f2p is another story though.

rares do have some purpose. You are forgetting that some people would rather not play a game to click on an anvil for hours on end, or to click a coal ore for hours on end. Some people (duke, r2, ect...lol, im only naming the big merchants) like to become rich...if there was a high scores for it, lots of people would merchant. you guys are lucky that there are tradable rares. If not, the economy would be truly doomed. Rares are there to help people gain profit in a fair amount of time in order to buy skill raising items, or to gain more money and perhaps reach a gp goal. I myself recently got to 20m...on my way to 100m :lol: . I personally would rather gain one mil in two trades than to click on a tree or a rock for hours on end. I would rather be able to get gp in a day rather than having to wait weeks so I can collect enough items to sell. (and lets face it, when you reach high levels, its impossible to raise skills without buying stuff to help)

It all started when this happened...... My comp frooze so I had to turn the comp off with the power button. When I went to turn it back on, I recieved a message saying that windows could not start properly. Anywho, in order to fix this prob, I had to use the old recovery CD. I decided not to fix my comp till my final exams were over however, so now after a week, im back. (SCHOOLS OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D ) I fixed my computer, I have the internet and everything running again...except runescape. I can get to the website, I can click, "play runescape," I can select my detail, and I can select which world I want to play in. The only thing that will not work is the actual game loading. I just get a black screen with the normal comands up at the top (world select, upgrade, main menu, ect) I do not think I have a virus or any other garbage like that because I just restored my computer. H3lp pl0x!!1!!111 :lol:
