  1. I don't see how its longer than selling items now. This just centralizes everything into one area, while preventing lag for thoes who are just playing the game. Most people sell near banks and thats where the teleporter guy is to this area so it would take teh same amout of time.
  2. I didn't say they wouldn't be a way to uncurse items. And I didn't think people would like that mages could curse their items. Pehaps i should of said that all spells would be temporary and that the quest for "cursed" items was just a way of adding new items into the game.
  3. Law, nature, soul, and blood should never become staves because of the simple fact that spells that use these runes only use one of them and most are non combat. But i agree that chaos and death are a possiblity because they would allow mages to become a solo adventure class. And next time use a serach.
  4. Like the title suggest this idea is would be a lot easier to implement than Palyer owned stalls/shops or auction houses. It would either be a server or area ment just for buying/selling items. Here it goes! 1) Sever/Area: Merchant or Flee Market style area/server. There would be 2 servers 1 for members and 1 for free to prevent conflict of f2p players getting member items. Alternatively, this could be an area inaccessable except by teleporting to it through a person/item, saving the money that would be sepen on the new servers. Being teleport there would be free of charage and everyone would be able to use it. The people that teleport would be located at anybank. 2)Layout: It would be one huge buliding lets say 3x the size of lubby castle. In this huge buliding there would be 4 sub rooms, a basment, and 1 bank located in the center. Each room would be desginated for a different type item and the room would be designated by that item's type. The 4 different rooms would consits of: Weapons, Armor, Ore/Bars(including pick axes), Runes. Each room would be like a new area to prevent over-lap and to lessen lag. The basement would be for misc. items and most likely rares and uncommon items like the abyssal wip depending on how players use it. heres a basic pic of how the lay out would look 3) How it works. First off there isn't a way of preventing people from saying bank sale because the language filiter is bad enough already without it being worse, but the desgin of server area should limit that to only the basement because players tend to use things like this the way they were desginend. . There aksi isn't a way to block people from selling items that aren't a part of the rooms theme, unless they are temporaily taken away upon entering, but that would cause more problems and cost more moeny. Again since most people play properly this won'y be a huge problem. However there is still 1 problem, where do the people go after they log off of this server. Well the way I believe this would work is that players are automatically sent to lubby after loging out of this server; however, if its just an added area like castle wars was then it would send you lubby for free, or any major city that people can teleport to using spells at a cost of 1,000 gc. Well what do you guys think?
  5. Auto logout on rs so it wouldn't work. Maybe something a huge house where items are bought and sold by players with pre set prieces like an Auction House ebay style.
  6. Sorry, never heard of that game. But this idea is deeply inbedded in rpg games because most rpgs are somewhat derrived grom D&D.
  7. 2: But allow all characters to move to rs2 and trasfer all thoes severs to rs2 with half going to each members and f2p.
  8. Note: Came up with this on the fly- please keep that in mind Well wouldn't it be instresting to be able curse items or have them exist. If you cursed an item say like a mage or prayer skill that person's weapon wouldn't be able to be removed, or it would be like instead of having dragon stats it has rune. Or quest where there is a very powerful weapon/armour but its cursed and there is a quest to remove the curse at the cost of having some of it powe removed. Example for a weapon (long sword): Has att 7 above dragon but takes away def when equiped. After curse is removed power goes to 3 below dragon but it hits a little faster because it lighter.
  9. That's been suggested, and even though I'm not a PKer I'm sure PKers would love it for their silly little bragging rights :) lpinkus agreed. I remeber when i pked on Diablo 2 and collected ears that was fun. I don't think it would be hard to add, but your right it should offer a good amount of exp maybe and exp amout thats between baby blue dragon and the one before it :? sorry I'm still f2p.
  10. Congratulations! You've discovered communism and the Christian church of the middle ages! No man's money should give him an advantage over another. Ever. Now go away and think about what you've posted you silly child. O.K first with this correction. Communism in its pure sense states that wealth shouldn't be controlled by one group of people, but should be spread amongst all people and everyone, no matter what job they do, should be treated as an equal because we are all human beings. Capitalism on the other hand says the opposite wealth should be in the hands of the few or the elite and that people who do menial work should be treated as trash. Before making a comment like that be sure you are using the right terminology. Back on topic. Extra backpack space isnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t nesscary since RS2 came out because they allowed items that are equipped to actually be worn. And if they were to add space it should only be 2 spaces not another 4 and it would then be back at the original 30.
  11. As I said there is too much for a mage to train at thoes places. Most magese, that I see anyways, train at the wizard's tower on the lesser demon behind the cage because its impossible for them to die there :)
  12. I believe that jagex is doing a good job balancing the classes for pking as well as regular run of the mill fighting because they have add combined runes, but does it surprise you that jagex only sees mages as a pking class. Its not like this game requires you to do quest with other players in order to actually get one done does it? I guess the reason you don't see people using mage as a primary class is because mages don't have good weapons/armor. So adding a decent staff that is like the crystal bow would help, and maybe armor that has stronger def but weaker magic than spit bark would also help. But I think a simpler solution to the problem is to quickly add death and blood rune crafting to the game. This will lower the cost of runes almost nothing. To help ease the pain of making these runes and getting the lvls to do so they should also either: 1) shrink the lvls required to make runes, or 2) make death and blood rune crafting achivable at lower lvls then what the patterens shows, lets say 60 for death and 68 for blood. Or instead of fixing it with runescrafting they could also add 3 new staves to the game: Chaos, Death, and Blood, but I doubt they'll do that.
  13. Guitar isn't some huge modern invention. They've been around for a while now and I don't see why an acoustic guitar wouldn't fit in. Yes, a lyre is a better fit because: From dictionary.com lyre-A stringed instrument of the harp family having two curved arms connected at the upper end by a crossbar, used to accompany a singer or reciter of poetry, especially in ancient Greece.
